...Mirage...!

The Inkling shot up, taking deep breaths. Oh good, they weren't dead. Or were they? They were completely surrounded by white.

"Neo 3, are you alright?!"

They look up to see Octa, who was wearing a drastically different outfit. Instead of her black-clad outfit and cape, she was wearing a white suit, with straps around her shoulders. Her tentacles has changed color as well.

"I'm...fine, actually. I feel like I'm in perfect health." They replied, their hands digging into the pure white sand under them.

"Cool. Then get the shell up. Because we're in some serious trouble." Minu told them.

Mirage got to their feet, and was utterly shocked at the sight around them. It was Inkopolis Square, and yet...it was far from it. It looked like one of those dead coral reefs they read about. Lifeless. Colorless. Hopeless.

"Where...? Why...?! And where's the others? Sandy? Plat? Ess??"

"I'm...not sure, Mirage. They were not here when I awoke." Octa lowered her head. "Perhaps we can find some help-"

"EIIIIGHTTTTTT!!"

The three watched a small drone fly toward them at lightning speed, stopping right in front of Octa. "Hey!! How'd you get here? You know what, that doesn't matter, I need your help!!"

"S-Slow down! P...Pearl, is that you...?"

"Yeah! Can't you recognize me?!"

"Well...you're..."

"Oh, ignore the drone thing. I don't know either." She explained quickly. "Ayo, who are these two guys? Never seen 'em here before."

"Oh, that's right! This is the New Agent 3, Mirage. They stopped Mr. Grizz in Alterna. And this is Minu, she is also an agent alongside them. You two, this is Pearl, from Off the Hook!"

"Is every idol involved in some insane secret plot to destroy the world?! I just don't--" They shake their head. "Nevermind. Where are we?"

"Beats me. The Square from the looks of it but like...totally NOT the Square, yanno? But I get a feeling we'll get some more answers if we head into there." She looked in the direction of Deca Tower. "Cause it sure as heck ain't out here."

"Fair enough. Haha, this is like old times, huh, Pearl? Exploring weird places together."

"Hah, you bet!"

"What is...happening anymore..."

The four enter the building, Mirage noticing a mysterious set of lockers on the way.

"Um...this is NOT the inside of Deca Tower at all."

The Pearl Drone zoomed around the spacious room, the cephalopods following. "This place is whack..."

"Tell me about it..." Minu stared at the monochrome interior.

Octa didn't seem as surprised as the rest of them were, which Mirage could pick up on.

"Over there, we should head toward the elevator, no? I bet Marina and all of Mirage's friends are on a higher level." Octa pointed at the clean steel doors at the other end of the room.

"Oh, good thinkin', Eight!" Pearl hummed, zooming over, and the other three ran to catch up. And as the elevator doors slowly slid open...

"Woah. Looks like a party."

"Eh?! Is that a sanitized Octoling?! Eight-!!" Pearl yelled.

"Woah, cool it. No need to get all crazy on me. I won't hurt you." The Octoling put a hand up. They wore a hat with headphones, a sleek black dress, and knee-high boots.

"Who are you...?" Octa asked, tilting her head.

"....Ah, I go by a couple different names, but for the sake of simplicity, you can call me Acht." They spoke. "Sorta new to this place, myself, though going through the elevator enough times myself, I think I've got it figured out."

"...A few times? Are you riding up and down the elevator?" Mirage slouched.

"Nah. Come on in and I can show you."

"Hrmm....I don't know..." Pearl beeped.

"I trust them. I think they know what they're talking about." Octa nodded. "I'll lead the way. Let's go."

Pearl, Minu, and Mirage exchanged nervous looks before following Octa into the elevator.

"So. What are you doing in here?"

"Well, initially, me and my friends here were on a mission to stop whoever was causing the Square to go entirely unconscious, but now it seems, since joining, we are now on a large rescue mission....three agents, a Salmonling, and now Marina, as it happens..."

"Ah. I see. Fair enough." Acht looked away. "I was here initially before something went haywire about this place. And then a buncha kids and stuff showed up. And there was this real tall lady. Weird-looking, too. If I had to guess, she's behind this nonsense."

"That must be Tara." Minu grimaced. "But...none of this makes sense. We're...in the Square, are we not? Why does it look so different and weird? Where are the other unconscious people? And these clothes...and this elevator..."

"Hm. Can't really tell you exactly WHERE we are, but I can probably guess WHAT this place is. I think we're in a virtual reality right now."

"A...virtual reality?"

"Yep. Did you guys happen to be put to sleep before showing up here?"

"Yeah...we were." Mirage answered.

"Yep. It'd be wise to say that your real bodies are still unconscious in the....'Square' right now, but your minds are in here."

"That's crazy...so does this mean Tara....made a virtual reality?"

"I don't know. Barely seen this 'Tara' lady around, so I can't give you a straight answer."

"So what are YOU doing here?" Minu asked, suspiciously eyeing Acht.

They shrug. "Honestly...beats me. My memory is still a little hazy. I've only gotten some of them back recently. I suffer from a bit of amnesia."

"Ah...would you have happened to regain them while in here?"

"Yeah. Why?"

"Hmm..."

"Something up, Eight?" Pearl chimed in.

"I have a theory about this place...but I can't confirm it until we find Marina."

"Well then, the sooner we find her, the better! Full speed ahead!!"

SIDE ORDER HYPE THEORIES PART 1

An extremely incoherent dump of side order theories and thoughts!

Now uhh side order wild right apparently it’s tomorrow???? I completely misjudged I thought it was this weekend. But ok I don’t even know how to start it so I’m just gonna go wild.

Now let’s address the elephant in the room: is side order a virtual world?

So there is lots of imagery to imply this. A huge number in side order’s aesthetic is digital and glitching aesthetics. The first instance of this sort of imagery appearing was in the first trailer for side order, where in one of the static images shown Marina had some glitching effects. Now that we have more context on the situation (not really? Just a truckload of more digital motifs) I still don’t know what to think about it lmao. The background may look like it’s in the square but I’m not sure. And currently we’ve only seen Pearl drone and 8 there. But even so it looks like concept art so I don’t know how much we can infer from that.

In the second trailer things becoming more apparent. In the scene where the jeletrons (I think that’s what they’re called?) appear there are some glitching blank spaces, like the reality is glitching apart.

And I was just thinking, what if side order isn’t a virtual world but had kinda fake virtual elements??? I don’t exactly know how to explain it but think of something like security breach ruin. Everytime 8 goes into a level a bunch of yellow code reveals the surroundings. Side order is a rougelike and I think it’s said that every level would be unique so perhaps there’s an in universe explanation for that. Perhaps some sort of tech that “loads” the level through code and constructs the surroundings based on that, without necessarily being in a virtual world.

Interestingly enough even outside of the sprite there appears to be some rouge code, surrounding the spire specifically. And when you first wake up in the game the entire place loads in like the levels, implying it’s some sort of construct. But inkoplolis square and deca tower exist in the real world so what’s up with this? Putting that into consideration it wouldn’t make sense why whoever wants to enforce order would create an entire virtual world as that would be redundant. Perhaps going into the theory that lots of the stuff we see is a digital construct perhaps they remodelled the square using this.

But this brings up the question, how would they have this technology and have we seen anything like this before? The closest thing I can think of is octarian technology, but they don’t exactly have this level of stuff here otherwise octarian society wouldn’t be as ruined as it is if they could create stuff from thin air with code. There is some stuff that could come somewhat close to this with the floating error screens in Alterna but it’s nowhere near this level. But there is something notable that comes to mind. In Octo expansion, when you splat any of the sanitised octarians they glitch out instead of explode, and all have distorted voices that sound like they’ve been compressed through some software. This could very much be some aesthetic choice but this strange real-world glitching motif isn’t seen anywhere else in the game, but everywhere in side order. But despite this, the enemies you splat in side order don’t have the same glitch effect, so what’s up with that?

Again this could be some design choice and not actually important but aside this Acht/Dedf1sh’s appearance in this definitely hints to some connection to Octo expansion. Acht was the composer for the songs that play throughout Octo expansion and appears to have done something for octoplush in Alterna as well, implying at some point they might’ve found their way in the area. Acht is a sanitised Octoling who still has some sort of free will/consciousness left and thus can interact with 8 and Pearl like this. This aspect of them is probably how they managed to escape the deepsea metro facility in the first place, perhaps following some time after agent 8 managed to escape from there.

The deepsea metro is directly connected to inkopolis with a pathway leading to it underground. This is perhaps how Acht ended up here in the first place, and got caught up in whatever’s going on, perhaps putting a dent in the virtual world theory.

But that also brings up the question, was Acht in the splatlands? As they seem to have composed a song for octoplush and have their signature on the signature board in splatsville. They probably wouldn’t have to have traveled much due to the train that was built from inkadia to the splatlands but this implies they escaped before whatever happened to inkopolis square happened.

So in conclusion to this part of my ramble I think that side order may perhaps not be a virtual world, but there’s some sort of technology that can use code or whatever to materialise locations and objects. Perhaps using some sort of biological mechanism with microorganisms? Yes I bought this up out of nowhere lmao. There’s also one thing I wanna bring up but don’t know where to put it is that it seems the first thing that’s gonna happen with side order is seeing neo 3 asleep on a train, and having the screen glitch out and transition to inkopolis.

The infinite cycle of order

So the most recent trailer for side order focuses a lot on a cycle. A cycle of advancing through floors, using colour chips and completing objectives. This and the whole thing of the game being an infinitely replayable thing makes sense because it’s a rougelike, but I want to discuss the story implications here.

Already the motif of infinity and cycles is hugely present. Just about everywhere you can find the infinity symbol. It’s present everywhere in levels, on the technology, the 8 ball which is now an infinity ball, the currency, the palette, basically it’s as prevalent as the Alterna and Kamabo co logo, which makes me think it could play a role like those. Alterna was a long lost human civilisation and didn’t exactly have a driving force in the story in its own, rather on how it was used by others.

Kamabo is interesting though. As it was the company Tartar set up to run the test facilities in the deepsea metro while convincing its subjects that if they pass the tests they’ll enter the promised land, but actually just killing them. Lots of the facilities used the original metro to get around and was entirely under the control of the kamabo corporation. So basically, it was a major antagonist force.

So what does this mean for the infinity thing in side order? When I first saw it I suspected it was something like Kamabo, an evil company controlled by the main antagonist that sets up facilitates, but it’s definitely different than that. The infinity thing seems to have control over the weird code and glitching thing that I mentioned earlier might be manifesting objects in the world though technology. But once again how did this facility get hands on tech so advanced we have never seen before? The octarians didn’t even have stuff on this level and all the crazy tech stuff we have seen are still in the realm of stemming from octarian/human tech but this is completely new.

It’s hard to think about how they got this but since this is side order and perhaps this has something to do with order losing to chaos in the splatfest, it could be some sort of counter measure to the more chaotic inkling society has become, and trying to make everything some perfect semi virtual world, but this is a little off track.

Going back to the theory of the role of the infinity thing in the story, one thing that really sticks out to me is off the hooks involvement in it. From the beginning it seems that the infinity thing is some sort of antagonistic force, the one behind this nightmare of order. But looking at the back of the Pearl drone it has exactly the same logo as we see everywhere. And it doesn’t just stop there. The special cans that resemble marina’s hyper bombs have the same logo, and the pop up screen that shows in the trailer when she’s hacking into the system to give agent 8 more lives.

So what’s going on here? Why are off the hook associated with this infinity thing which is likely the one causing this? There’s a lot of ways this could go. Perhaps they’re not affiliated with it specifically and are using technology that was from the code or whatever I was going on about with that theory. This approach could mean that at some time perhaps the Pearl drone could get hijacked and someone pretending to be Pearl could misguide you. There’s also perhaps that off the hook is somewhat actually working for the villains (assuming the infinity thing is villainous). I don’t know why they’d side with it especially that what they’re doing goes entirely against their whole attitude towards the final fest but this is interesting to think about. Perhaps instead of willingly joining they were coerced into bringing 8 into this mess? As 8 seemed to wake up with no idea how they got there.

So that’s kinda the whole deal with what its involvement in the story could be but I wanna go back to my point of infinity/cycle symbolism. As I said the trailers make a big deal out of repeating a cycle to ascend the spire of order. Perhaps this cycle could be symbolic of something and by perpetuating this agent 8 could be doing more harm than good, getting stuck in a vicious cycle of order or whatever’s going on. The philosophical implications for this are really interesting. And this could’ve been already bought up before as the creatures that reside in the square that we see are describes to be “like cogs in a machine to create a far more complex cycle of social order.” So perhaps they’re stuck in some stagnant cycle as well, unable to escape from this world that was built for them. And maybe agent 8 is getting manipulated into this same cycle by ascending the tower, and perhaps the only way we move forward is to break the cycle. I’ve always found breaking out of stagnation and cycles and stuff to be an incredibly interesting storyline so I’m really exited for this.

Some other things I want to point out that is that in the very first trailer we see multiple Octolings standing on some sort of thing. It’s concept art so I don’t know if it’s outdated or whatever and I kinda forgot why I even bought this up in the first place but perhaps it could be of some sort of relation, although that’s just vibes for me.

So basically I think a whole cycle of infinity and

repetition is going to become important from all the infinity motifs we’ve seen so far and the gambler focus of a cycle. And wondering what this infinity thing is and if it plays an antagonistic force in the story and why off the hook are involved.

SESTRE GOBOVIĆ SA MALIŠANIMA IZ DIJASPORE PEVALE SRPSKE TRADICIONALNE PESME

Sestre Gobović, bliznakinje Marina i Marija, svoje dugogodišnje iskustvo i ljubav prema izvornoj muzici prenose i na decu u dijaspori. Ovoga puta su se družile sa decom i držale časove u Rumuniji, dok su prošle godine časove držale u Mađarskoj. Saradnja sa Kabinetom ministra bez portfelja, zaduženog za koordinaciju aktivnosti i mera u oblasti odnosa sa dijasporom, bila je presudna da baš sestre Gobović budu odabrane da drže časove deci iz dijaspore. Početak radionice u Temišvaru, u Rumuniji, bio je na veliki srpski praznik Krstovdan. Program su činile tri muzičke radionice sa decom predškolskog uzrasta i mladima u osnovnoj i srednjoj školi „Dositej Obradović“ u pomenutom gradu. „Program rada je prilagođen uzrastima dece. Učimo ih izvornu, duhovnu i dečiju muziku. Jako nam je drago i predstavlja nam veliko zadovoljstvo što smo baš nas dve odabrane da prenosimo deci znanje o srpskoj tradiciji. Sva deca su već posle prvog dana pevale naše i pesme značajne za srpsku tradiciju. Pevala su u glas i jasno se videlo da vole našu muziku. Direktorka škole Aleksandra Stojkov se potrudila da nas ugosti na najbolji način, a mi smo, nadamo se, opravdale njena očekivanja“, rekle su sestre Gobović.

Marina i Marija su prošle godine dobile blagoslov patrijarha Porfirija da njihov hor „Slavujčići“ bude hor pri Hramu Svetog Save, na šta su izuzetno ponosne. Njihova pesma „Srbija“ proglašena je na manifestaciji „Srbija više od lepote“ za najlepšu pesmu o našoj zemlji. Fotografije sestara Gobović sa decom: Lazar Stanković

Pride Month 1/3[BONUS]

Pride Month is here! How would the Cephero celebrate it?

Author’s Note : All of this is ENTIRELY NON-CANON. I’m still working on my writing skills. Thank You and Enjoy, hopefully.

“Wake up, guys! It’s the first day of June. Smell the fresh air of rainbows!” Fior shouted as she smacked pans to pans, causing ruckus in Cephero Household. Erek chuckled as he mixing through salad dressings. The first two people who appeared crashed down the staircase.

“Fior, it’s freaking six in the morning!” Hachi screeched as he glared at their tiny girlfriend. Tres grumbled underneath him, making Hachi quickly removed himself from her. Erek quickly grabbed the first-aid kit after he finished making the salad. Luckily, the injuries on both of them are not severe at all.

“If I got a sprain during target practise, you would get your ass whoop, Fior,” the menacing squid threatened before kissing the smug inkling on the forehead. Erek sighed dreamily as he pulled their boyfriend up. Hachi squinted a little bit between Erek and Fior.

“What’s with those ink colours?” he asked as he never seen three colours fused in the same tentacles. Pink, purple and dark blue. Those ink colours are swimming around their tentacles in order. He only knew that he can have another colour on the tip if he have an intense make-out but definitely not this.

“They represents bisexualities, Chi~. We teach you after breakfast if you are interested.” Sei answered from the upper veranda. Huit is right behind him, brushing her teeth. She looked at him curiously like her twin brother did. Sei had three colours in his tentacles too, but it’s pink, yellow and light blue instead. He winked at Huit before jumping down in his squid form.

They went to the Square after they ate their breakfast. The octoling twin, even Tres, were amazed of the tentacles displays around them. The people are displaying more than one ink colour. Octolings are either amazed or tried to learn from their inkling friends.

When they make sure no one is watching them. They quickly morphed into their squid/octo form and went into the manhole. They arrived at Octo Canyon to see the Squid Sisters and Off The Hook, laughing and gossiping. Dedf1sh is feeding one of her pigeons. One thing is noticeable, all of them have three or more ink colours. Pearl and Marina have many shades of pink and red; Callie have pink, green and blue; Marie and Dedf1sh have green, yellow, orange and black.

Callie spotted them first, grinning as she wave at them enthusiastically. The others noticing them too. “AGENT THREES, FOURS AND EIGHTS! HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!”

Erek and Callie hugged each other tightly; Fior went inside the cabin to help feed the pigeons; Tres is having a staring contest with Marie unconsciously. Hachi and Huit are gawking at their mother figures’ tentacles. Different shades of pink and red are another level of awesomeness. The tall squid chuckled at them before comedically pushed their jaws up, “Guys, manners.”

“But, Sei~! Marina and Pearl look so cool with their colours. What do they represent?” Huit questioned before gazing at them again. Pearl smirked, “They represent lesbian, yo! It means girls who love girls only!” This make the twins disappointed, Hachi because he’s a boy and Huit because she love her boyfriends too. Marina realised this before adding after Pearl, “Don’t worry, you guys can still make shades of your own pride too! People won’t mind. When I celebrate my first Pride Month, the lesbian crowds still partying with me even though I only got one shade of pink and red.”The twins were smiling widely as they glanced at each other, high five along the way.

Marie finished her staring contest before remarking, “Although I understand that octolings are still learning, but why didn’t you change into your pride, Tres? Did you forgot your pride colours?” A typical situation if you knew Agent F3 well.

Tres grimaced, “I don’t know what to identified myself with. Besides, I’m pretty sure there’s nothing to describe my pride anyways.” She took out the Hero Blaster from the Ammo Knights Enhancifier and start her target practice with some new dummies Sheldon had upgraded. Marie sighed a bit, “Are you bisexual?”

“No. I don’t really think gender is that important.”

“Pansexual?”

“I thought so at first but seeing how Sei acts around, especially night time... Nah.”

“Hm, don’t care about gender yet no sexual desires...”

“Yep. The internet said something about sickness so I figure it’s that way, Marie.”

“What about asexual? It’s a term for people who feel like they don’t need to have sex to prove their love or something.”

Tres stopped before looking at Marie with her eyes glinted. “...there’s a term?”

Agent 8s and F3 are sitting on the floor, facing Marie as she took out some big piece of paper and stick it on the wall. “Okay, agents. Pride Month is basically a month where we celebrate our sexualities and gender identities. Cal, go haywire with your colouring. Any question before we start?”

Huit raised her hands, “Is it necessary to have pride colours?”

“Nope, it’s not necessary. Pride Month officially started around fifty years after the Great Turf War. It started off with rainbow colours to represent gay, boys who love boys only. Then, as Pride Month started to get popular, the government officials decided to help identifying and creating more colour patterns with the citizen. It took 10 years but they were satisfied about the results, like this.” Marie finished as she twirled around her tentacles.

Hachi raised next, “How do you do those ink colour fusion? Does it hurt?”

Marie pondered for a while, “We would help you with fusion later, M8. Ink fusion is a hard trick that only discovered twenty years ago by some drag queens. It would take a while to master the technique but it doesn’t affect you or so whatever. So, it doesn’t hurt. Your colours would switch back to proper ink if you entered the Deca Tower though.”

The twins raised together in unison, “How Pride Month came to exist?”

“Before the term ‘Pride’ exist, even before the Great Turf War, people who feel confused of their feelings are being set to arranged marriage. People who being found to date the same gender were... punished heavily. Few years after the Great Turf War, the population were low in numbers, especially inklings. To start populate the country, the government decided to pass a law and force the citizens to make babies. It last for at least 30 years before the queers decided to protest against this law. Citizens got shotted by the corrupted government officials. Pride Month then came exist to celebrate LGBT+ and honour the people who died during the protest.”

The octoling twins, including Marina and Dedf1sh, were shocked at hearing this information. Guess Inkopolis have their own dark history. As there are no more questions to be answered, she nodded to her cousin.

“Okay, agents!” Callie shouted as she pointed to the paper where it’s full of colours and labels, “Today we are going to learn the basic LGBT+ terms and their colours!” The octoling twins are fidgeting around excitedly to figure out which one is for them. The orange inkling girl just smiled a bit as she found a colour pattern which label as ‘Asexual/Ace’.

“First of all,” Callie pointed at the rainbow pattern, “this represents gay, as Marie said, boys who love boys only. It’s also the first colour pattern to be created that led to an official Pride Month.”

“This, on the other hand, represents lesbian. Like Off the Hook! Before this colour pattern exist, the lesbians use the rainbow colour patterns. Due to some conflict, the lesbian colours were created since gay are terms for, you know, boys.”

“That pattern represents bisexual, like Fior and Erek. It means they love male and female equally. And that pattern represents pansexual, like Sei. It means he love you no matter what gender you are, even if you are genderless!”

“This pattern here represents transgender. Means that people wanted to be the opposite gender. Most reasons for this is mainly they are not comfortable of their current gender.”

“This pattern over here is polysexual, like me! It’s almost the same as pansexual but the difference is that I don’t really love all genders. Not really. I love multiple genders but not all!”

“I ran out of Sharpies so I’m gonna drag Ahato into this! This ink colours right here represents aromantic. It means they didn't think it’s necessary to be in a relationship. They prefer to be alone for the rest of their life. Am I right?” she glanced at her cousin and sanitised friend, who nodded in confirmation.

“And finally, the asexual colour pattern! This came out official 12 years ago so most people, not all, know about this but they are valid too! They are usually people who didn't think it’s necessary to commit sexual acts in a relationship.”

“Oh, of course! People who only love opposite genders exist too! Most of them would participate because they want to hang out with their queer friends. The rest of them usually take a break from Turf sports since they somehow don’t know where to fit in but they support us either way!”

The information is overflowing for the three of them but hey, they learned something new!

“I think I am between polysexual and pansexual, brother. What am I going to do?” Huit whimpered as she tried to choose between one. Hachi patted her back pitifully, since he had chosen pansexual. Tres had already chose one and started her ‘training’, as she stated, with Sei.

“Well, sis, I wish I got more time but,” he sighed as he looked over to Fior who is tapping her feet impatiently, “she’s been doing that for a while. Why don’t you let an expert to help you with?”

Huit pouted before playfully shooed her brother off as Erek came up to her. “So... need help?”

“Yes, I’m very confused on whether I’m polysexual or pansexual. Brother choose his sexuality on the spot and here I am... I’m... confused.” Huit cried as she glanced between the two colour patterns. Erek smile gently, “It’s okay to be confused, Huit. This takes a lot of time. Look, one of my friend thought she’s unusual until she realised she’s an aromantic. She’s 38 back then. Why don’t you mixed those colours up or switch it back and forth?”

Huit brightened up quickly. “Well, what are we waiting? Teach me how to do stuff like that!” The soft boy chuckled as he switch back to his blue ink colour.

“In order to mixed those colours up, you gotta rest your mind. The clearer the mind, the better your concentration is, Hachi.”

“After we done that, Tres, think of the colours in front of you. It’s not that complicated to make that face, girl.”

“As soon as you memorised the colours, think of it as your own ink colours! Don’t be upset if you only managed to get fused for a while. I said it’s a great progress!”

“Okay, this... um... okay. Hachi, you and your smartass, you learn way too quickly!”

“Tres... I know it’s hard for you to clear your mind but... it’s not really threatening if you keep pouting like that.”

“Okay! We are definitely doing good, for starters. You managed to get two colours to fuse in your first try!”

“You are lucky you are so damn cute, Hachi. Be glad because you embarrassed me. Don’t octo party on me!”

“Why the heck is your tentacle bloody red? You supposed to- GAH! Stop punching my stomach!”

“Great job, Huit! You deserve something good for this. Crusty Meals’ on me.”

It took 5 days but they finally managed to put their Pride colours. Now, they are finally going to participate some Pride Month celebration. Inkopolis Square are decorated colourfully with LGBT flags and people setting out their foods and drinks to sell. Sei looked at his group of lovers before speaking out proudly, “As we finally have our little training done, we can have some fun now. Since this is almost end of the first week, we can only enjoy some party before the real fun start.”

“Real fun?” Tres muttered out distrustfully. Erek quickly noticed her tone before reassured her, “It’s mainly some activities that only occurred in Pride Month. It’s like League but with people invent some games to let us play and earn points! Usually it’s the group of winners from the previous Pride Month activities gets to create the game.”

“And last year, us three and the Squid Sister won so we get to create a game. Don’t get your hopes high because we ain’t telling,” Fior smirked before drinking some Creamy Chocolate Milk. Tres shrugged it off and dragged Erek to a fruit salad stall.

Suddenly, someone with a creepy clown mask came up to the octoling twins and whispered, “Kids, do you want some balloons?” The twins screamed loudly before realising that person is laughing uncontrollably. They calmed down a bit before that person took off their mask.

“Pearl! Why do you have to do that? To us!” Hachi shrieked but Pearl took no notice about that. “Just gotta scare my favourite pair of twins, kiddos. Anyways, heard of the Pride Games yet?”
