3d plush request
Arty the mouse
Here you go!
I couldn't tell if Arty had any sort of mouth, so I just did a little bit of airbrushing in a darker color to resemble how fluffy Arty's face is! I also added some modeled fluff around Arty's eyes, but it ended up looking a bit like tears... Not sure if I like them or not.
If Arty has a tail, please let me know so I can add it! I like having front and back views of characters so I can make sure that all sides are accurate.

I MIGHT BE THE OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPHER AT MY ANIMAL SHELTER'S SUMMER CAMP???
I was showing the woman in charge some of the photos I've taken on my camera, and she asked if I wanted to be the person who takes the photos for the camp! She'll have to ask her boss if that'd be okay, but the people at the shelter know me pretty well, so I think I have a great chance of being the photographer!
This will be my first time being the designated photographer for anything, I've taken pictures which this animal shelter shared on Facebook, but that was just photos I took for fun and shared with the shelter. This is the first time I've been asked to take photos in a sort of professional setting!
I am SO excited for this, if I do well at taking the photos for this summer camp, I might get asked by more people to take photos!
I won't get paid for this as it's volunteer work, but it still will be good for my resume!

I haven't done much digital art lately, so I want to do some warm ups by making some 3D models in Paint3D!
I'm taking 3D plushie art requests! Either send me an ask with a picture of your plushie/name of a plushie you like, and if you'd like tell me a bit about your plush friend! I have been in a bit of a stuffed animal phase right now, and I thought it'd be fun to model some stuffed friends!
Here's one I made of Hannimation's Sadie plush! She just arrived on Monday, I was so happy!
These will be relatively simple models, Paint3D is a very simple software so it lacks many essential 3D modeling tools, for instance the reshape tool can only resize model parts, it can't actually adjust the shape. But the part that I love about Paint3D is you can make textures directly in the program just by drawing on the model! While getting fine details is difficult, it's a lot of fun and much simpler than making textures externally and guessing how they'll look on the model and needing to make teeny tiny adjustments over and over again (I speak from experience as a MMD artist)
I look forward to modeling these stuffed animals! I will make a compilation of the models I've made once I make more :)

There's been some super cute stuffed animals submitted! I might not be able to fulfill any requests today since I have an animal shelter event to go to (I'm going to be a volunteer at my local animal shelter's summer camp this year!) and making these 3D models can take a while, but I will try to make as many as I can!

Does anyone here know the origins of the Red Instead movement? I've been searching for it online and all of the articles I'm finding are just saying why Red Instead is preferred over Light it Up Blue, nothing is saying who created the movement or why the color red was chosen. People say WHY the movement was created, because Light it Up Blue is problematic, but nothing is stating why the color red.
I'm making a game about autism and it's going to include various facts about autism, and I would really love to include the reason why it's red in this game! I've wondered it for a while now and I really hope that somebody has the answer.
I have a few theories on the origin of the color red, but they're just that, theories. I would really like to know who created it so that the creator gets the recognition they deserve, without being erased. Though if that person prefers to stay anonymous and doesn't want a lot of publicity that is understandable
Any information about the history of Red Instead would be appreciated! It's surprising that something so recent has very little explanation behind it.

Is the game where you plan parties for the Core 7 + Minty still available anywhere? I played it a LOT when I was younger and had so much fun with it, visiting the ponies’ houses was so fun! It really makes me wish we saw more of the G3 cast, there were some awesome characters and settings which sadly didn’t get fleshed out enough.
Pssssst.. Did you know that you can still play some of the G3 browser games, even on your phone?
Thanks to Web Archive and a Flash emulator called Ruffle, some of the 2000s web games still work! You don't even need to install Ruffle to do this, Web Archive's got you covered!
