ALRICK
Alrick work in the East faction of the 5 Death-Head districts (North, East, South, West and Central for the headquarters).
Alrick lives upstairs of a flowershop Mary, owned by capypara Felina. His home is a 1 room flat (picture in Attachments). Felina is not his landlady.
Alrick can’t speak because of a permanent injury.
While sign-language exists in Lywood, Alrick doesn’t sign. It’s visually easier and faster for drawing purposes to have him type with his phone. Plus people don’t speak sign language so he’d need to type anyway.
Alrick is a monster race, a combination of a bunny and something else. The spikes in his neck are part of his body.
The fur goes from his neck to his shoulders and back. His chest and stomach are hairy, too.
He can hear with both ears. I don’t know if his hearing is any better because of this.
He is a vegetarian (not because he’s a bunny but because he’s chosen so).
His nipples are pierced.
He’s most likely around his early 30’s (like 32, I think???)
He’s single and doesn’t seem to be looking for a date or sleeping around randomly, nor being that interested in such things. Fans are welcomed to headcanon him otherwise, though.
The story will not concentrate on Alrick’s love life as if I introduced a partner, I would need to include and remember the partner and her influence on Alrick’s life, work, free time etc. in every comic. As the stories are episodic, I don’t want to do this.
Alrick is a casual, social smoker, meaning that if he’s offered a smoke in a social situation, he most likely takes the cigarette. Otherwise, he doesn’t smoke.
Alrick’s not very expressive. His expressions are typical for my native culture (Finland), where you’re supposed not to express any of your feelings and emotions openly, but only subtly - if at all. Others can read you from the subtle cues and understand the level of your emotions. If Alrick has a faint smile on his face, it’s there for a reason.
Alrick shares lots of similarities in character with Sun-Ken Rock manga’s protagonist Ken Kitano.
Alrick is seen without his mask in story 9 “Vanilla Shot”.
Alrick was an accidental character. I was tagged by my friend Anastasiya in the RPG Monster Husband Generator Piccrew made by Owlpellet (picture below). The Piccrew had so many options to choose from! I didn’t know what to create so I started to slap things I liked together and the result was Alrick. You can use the Piccrew here.
My other friend Jessica said he looks like Alrick, so that’s how he got his name.

#Alastor#hazbin hotel#we know he got shot in the head by a hunter and that’s how he died#and that that’s prob tied to why he’s a deer demon#and radio dial eyes is obv because of his ties to being a radio host in life and now in death#but do we know anything about the stitches and broken neck#in a lot of scenes we see him twist his neck violently#and in his demons forms it’s always crooked#did his neck get snapped during or after he was shot?#I guarantee you that if we ever get a scene where Alston’s neck is bare it will have a fucked up scar or something#I’ve heard theories that the stitches on his mouth could be tied to his constant smile#either that his smile is such an important feature that it became permanent in death#or that whoever he made a deal with made it so he’s not able to actually talk about it#could be both even because in some scenes there’s only stitches in the corner of his mouth and in the deal scene they’re all the way across#personally the stitches in combo with the deer form and the fact he was killed by a hunter makes my mind go to taxidermy#it kind of looks like he was stuffed and stitched up#I’ve also seen people compare his stiches to those voodoo dolls#but I dont know enough about them to make any kind of comparison

Currently feeling a bit feral over the fact that Natalia means Christmas Day - as in the birth of Jesus Christ and Bucks story is so heavily leaning into the birth death and resurrection of Christ - the saviour - as a central part of his narrative arc. Her presence is literally about the birth of buck - as in processing his grief about why he was born - as a saviour baby.
#Buck hasn’t processed that trauma that dates back to his birth#he was never allowed to grieve the brother he didn’t know he had#and then he was in a coma where he created this version of Daniel - a deep rooted trauma response in itself#but that’s brought the Daniel of it all closer to the surface of his concious#and he needs to process and grieve and allow himself to move on from that#and I think Natalia the death doula is a key part of this - because she is ideally situated to help him process that specific trauma#this isn’t so much about his own recent brush with death (although it’s part of it) it’s about going back to the beginning and processing#he needs to deal with the Daniel of it all before he can deal with everything else#in the same way we had Eddie going back to his own root trauma - with his father - and processing and dealing with things#via frank. this is just Buck taking a different path which will have a similar outcome#yes Buck May date her as he goes through this process but ultimately he’s attracted to her metaphysically - because she can help him#not because he’s actually attracted to her romantically#also the show has doesn’t too much time recently showing us the buddifer family - to ensure we can see where things are heading#before it continues to process their trauma#thinky thoughts#911 spoilers#911 on fox#911 fox#911onfox#evan buckley

i was looking for 'hikaru's 'idk :(' moments in hgsn and i realized its rarely there besides kinda the above pages until vol 4. i really think yoshiki ended this arc in vol 2 with "i'll have to teach him." and then proceeded to not really teach him anything or even question hikaru again, lol
by volume 3, yoshiki's stabbing hikaru bc he's given up after hikaru fucking up again😭 the events between "i'll have to teach him" and "let's look into it", yoshiki really just hangs out with hikaru (but now knowing he isnt the original hikaru) and assumes accepting him as a friend and letting him take out a hostile ghost or two solves the initial problem of hikaru not entirely having the same perspective of humans.
only hikaru putting an effort in to stabilize yoshiki's mental state in return for earlier gets yoshiki back to actually trying to think about the problem with hikaru's support
i know people are joking he's also currently avoiding thinking abt other events going on (dead guy on news, the fate of the old guy) and i think thats similar, lol. yoshiki's not fully able to handle it all with just him and hikaru. he goes from "i'll have to teach him" after laughing off smth hikaru did that he didnt like to "lets look into it" after establishing boundaries. i think he's definitely developing in that regard, and maybe more if other characters aid them..?
#personal#the summer hikaru died#hgsn#cue vol 4's investigation arc. yoshiki finally decides to think abt the fact his new bestie is not human#i think hgsn does a good job of having the conflict progress the story. yoshiki ignores matsuura's death and asako being so close#makes him confront hikaru. he couldve looked the other way if not for that#not to say hikaru's completely innocent. in vol 2 when he's vague abt the hand thing hes knowingly dancing around what he wants#bc he thinks yoshiki'll say no (unintentionally putting yoshiki even more off). the scene is important bc yoshiki does at least#tell him no in a way. instead of initially brushing it off like hes done before#*innocent in that timeframe i mean#leading to hikaru's rip-his-guts-out scene. making a show to make it up to yoshiki#dont get me wrong tho theyre like barely coping w things FHSDJSD hikaru just fucking nerfed himself to appeal to yoshiki's#emotions when we have tanaka with ~ghostly~ knowledge hiding a fancy sword to lop his head off. they dont know shit#i think it is interesting watching them deal w things... tho hikaru definitely takes way more damage LMAO
