Imagine being Barney's therapist. At first you get normal stuff like "I've been feeling pretty dysphoric lately," "been having family troubles," etc. Then you get told shit like "yeah I died and saw my own corpse. Twice."

3 Series I'm Currently Obsessed With
The past couple of months, I've had quite a few series on my to-watch list. Whether it was catching up on new seasons such as with Bridgerton, The Owl House and Love, Victor or discovering new things like First Kill and Ms. Marvel, I've been having quite a lot of fun. Here are my three latest favourites that you should totally check out (if you haven't already).
1. Stranger Things (2016-) | 4 seasons | Netflix
Unsurprisingly, even a month after the finale, the newest Stranger Things season remains engraved in my mind, and my obsession with this show seems to be getting worse with every season. Despite having some criticisms with the writing (which a lot of people on Tumblr generally agree with), this season was a whole lot of fun and fear which is just how I like it. They introduced some great new characters and the stakes are higher than ever. I’d recommend this series to everyone and their mother as long as they’re old enough to watch it and can handle a couple creepy monsters every now and then. (Oh, and bring tissues for, like, every season.)
2. Pachinko (2022-) | 1 season | Apple TV+
I read Pachinko by Min Jin Lee earlier this year and I couldn’t wait to watch the adaptation. The casting was spot on and the entire series is just gorgeous to watch. Personally, I preferred reading the book because of the disrupted chronology in the series but it does some clever things with it, so having read the book, I didn’t entirely mind because it added some challenge and because it gave Youn Yuh-Jung more screentime which is always a delight. Not always the easiest and most joyful story but still an incredibly powerful historical drama portraying the lives of Korean immigrants in Japan. If you need a good sob session, I highly recommend this and if it fails to make you tear up, just you wait for the second season (which has been confirmed!).
3. Dead End: Paranormal Park (2022) | 1 season | Netflix
If you’ve watched series such as She-ra: Princesses of Power and The Owl House and absolutely loved it: drop everything and go watch Dead End as soon as you can! An absolutely delightful animated series full of demonic shenanigans, this series did just about everything right for me. It doesn’t shy away from representing a whole lot of different people on screen (personally a big fan of having a plus-sized main character) and it definitely deserved more attention than I feel like it has gotten so far. The news on a potential season two is still unclear but all I know is that it deserves it more than anything (and surely Netflix won’t cancel another LGBTQ show, right?).

if i had a nickel for everytime they released the season premiere for sonic prime early on youtube and had it full of sonic and shadow moments, I'd have two nickels
which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice

When I talk about Paeden to my friends who I know will Not watch the podcast, or at least not season one, I mention that he died and hasn’t come back yet. And then I remember I already emphasized that he was eight and have to scramble to explain why this child’s death isn’t actually super morbid.
Not once have I told people HOW he’s died because ngl I love him and Walter but if I tried telling people it wasn’t kind of fucked up I’d let them call me a liar.

I feel like my ranking of the episodes in Season 1 of Doctor Who might be incredibly controversial and I might be poking a stick at a beehive if I did it (for example, I would rank Aliens of London/World War Three ABOVE the Empty Child/the Doctor Dances and things get even MORE insane if I get to split up two parters) but I'm curious to see if anyone might want it
