Understandably, I get the jokes on TikTok. I really do. But, this was in my head before dozing off. I just needed to jot it somewhere before I forgot.
“Big 4” was never about university rankings. “Big 4” was always about prestige and tradition. It doesn’t matter if your university ranked higher; culture alone shall be the dictator. “Big 4” was always meant to be exclusive, continuously discriminating those who can’t have or afford it.

Marcos-Duterte possibly "winning" the elections is so bad that the Philippines' Big 4 Universities (University of the Philippines, University of Sto. Thomas, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University) all declared an academic walk out.
No classes under Marcos presidency.
The youth is mad, the youth is pissed. The Filipinos will not stand for this blatant rigging and cheating of the elections.
Simula pa lang ang laban, sa mga tumindig, maraming salamat, pero sana ituloy natin ang pagtindig hanggang ngayon. Titindig tayo.

ABS-CBN: UniTeam rift could hamper social services, solutions: analysts
Infighting among factions in the administration coalition could further distract government from addressing pressing issues like inflation and access to power and water, analysts said Monday, adding social services could be "hijacked" for political points.
"[W]hat worries me is how our very limited social protection programs — like 4Ps and DSWD cash assistance projects — and other public service projects will be hijacked by either of the parties even more for patronage spending," political scientist Cleve Arguelles told ABS-CBN News.
Arguelles said that tension between factions has at least led to an informal "check and balance" on each other.
He said Sen. Imee Marcos alleging the use of public funds to mobilize support for a controversial People's Initiative campaign that has put the Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Duterte camps at odds with each other is one example of that.
Anthony Lawrence Borja, a political science professor at De La Salle University, said the apparent rift at the top could affect relations between the national government and local government units, "especially among local parties and politicians who can end up in any of the conflicting factions."
He added, this "the road to the upcoming 2025 elections might be paved by an amplified sense of territoriality" on the local level.

So not sure about the big leagues part but yes! I share a room in a gallery with my sister and we'll exhibit our drawings from the 3 March to the 7 April!!! And taking into account the printing, framing and hanging we have less than 2 months to do all our drawings hihii 🤩 I'm really looking forward to it but I have a lot of stuff to produce in a short time so I'm on survival mode.
It's in france, at l'Espace Gibert, in Lezignan-Corbières .
It's a small room but it's a great start! I'm always happy to see my drawings on paper and in large format, it feels natural! It's not my first exhibition, but it's the first time I'm not just on one wall sharing the place with strangers. And it's with my older sister, we have a universe that match pretty well. she's more SF and cyber-punk oriented and it'll be so badass (check her out)

C'est pas ma première expo, mais c'est la première fois que je suis pas juste sur un seul mur à partager le lieu avec des inconnus. Puis c'est avec ma grande soeur et on a un univers qui se complète bien. elle est plus axé SF et cyber-punk et ce sera trop stylé (check her out)

Hello! It’s 2023 and I’m turning 26 in 6 months. It’s crazy how I’ve been on Tumblr since I was in High School (I think?) — which like at least 13 years ago — and now I’m working and studying Masters in International Studies at De La Salle University. I also got into kpop, and I am so in love with BTS! But I also like Seventeen, Le Serrafim, Mamamoo, TXT, and Twice. Never in my wildest dream thought I’d be fangirling them, but I did!
This makes me feel old. I think only a few people stay here now and even the layout changed. Oh, how I missed how I use to spend all my time here.

OSCARS 2023 le long-métrage indépendant et loufoque Everything Everywhere All at Once n’a laissé aucune chance à ses concurrents. Le film de Daniel Scheinert et Daniel Kwan a poursuivi sa razzia de prix avec sept Oscars. Il était nommé 11 fois pour cette 95e édition des Oscars qui se sont tenues à Los Angeles dans la nuit du 12 au 13 mars. Il était en rude compétition pour le prix du meilleur film de la part de la tragédicomédie irlandaise Les Banshees d’Inisherin et du très personnel The Fabelmans de Steven Spielberg.
Le film allemand A l’Ouest, rien de nouveau a également marqué cette cérémonie en raflant quatre prix. L’Académie a aussi récompensé les blockbusters Top Gun : Maverick (meilleur mixage) et Avatar : la voie de l’eau (meilleurs effets visuels), qui ont largement rempli les salles obscures, trop souvent délaissées depuis la pandémie. Avec son scénario déjanté versant dans la science-fiction, Everything Everwhere All At Once a aussi valu des statuettes à ces personnages principaux comme secondaires. Trying traditional art for the first time in a long while and I’m writhing and foaming at the mouth.
Paz Perez, is a college student in De La Salle University, she is a master at doing the ‘Tinikling’ and uses that to her advantage in fights as Zal Spider, with that skill, she is quick on her feet with great reaction time and amazing agility. I guess those years of tripping on the bamboo poles have paid off…
