The story takes place in the future where Superman has retired and most of the DC heroes have grown old. Some new heroes start to break the no killing code and start taking justice into their own own hands. . So, When most of the bad guys are wiped out, what is it that the heroes do next? They begin to turn on each other. Then a catastrophic incident occurs and a lot of lives are lost which then brings the heroes we love out of retirement to clash with the new heroes. . So there's been some ugliness going about at SDCC so I just want to take a moment to say that those of y'all who ship non-canon ships (especially lgbt+ ships) you are totally valid. Obviously some peeps need to learn how to treat their fans better, but just know you are valid, your ideas are valid, and your life is valid and nothing anyone says can change that.
