Finally getting started on the second game =0=

Shocker, the Komahina shipper has Komahina as a canon to their series lmao. Hajime works for the Future Foundation and in current story is more abroad for months at a time while Nagito is a stay at home husband with their kids.

(The Malignant Lymphoma and Frontotempral lobe Dementia really did a number on Nagito's body, while he is disease free he still has linger mobility issues and his sight and hearing got ravaged.)

I love these goobers so much and have so much to say that I probably shouldn't dump in here \=0=/. But I am excited for them to be shown off.

Danganronpa 3 but there's a moment where Munakata asks Makoto why he's even bothering to talk about hope and humanity.

Words are just words after all, but even than it's not like anyone can hear him.

They aren't being broadcasted like they once believed, so why keep up the act?

Makoto looks at him.

For the first time since this whole game. And in all the time he's known him, the light in Makoto's eyes dim.

He's not seeing the Ultimate Hope, just, Makoto.

Tired, hurt, angry, sad, completely and utterly human Makoto.

It makes Munakata pause.

Makoto was an equal, all of the survivors were but in that moment he sees just how young he is.

In another life, Makoto could've been one of his students.

Makoto smiles but it's so unlike any smile he's ever given.

It's like a mirror that's been shattered. One someone's tried to fix with tape, with all the cracks visible.

"I don't say this to change the world."

Munakata raises an eyebrow, lowering his sword in intrest.

"Than why?"

A single tear rolls down Makoto's cheek but he's still smiling.

"I'm saying this so that the world won't change me."

I have rewritten or made an au where Class 77b are helping Future Foundation! It's Post-NWP, Makoto convinces the divisions that they can unbrainwash them with a help of proof, luckily they accepted it, but if it goes wrong they'll have to kill em. Then sdr2 happens, FF we're deciding if they should like stop the program but instead of doing that, they helped Makoto remove the virus in the last trial in sdr2. After all the crap, FF we're keeping the Class 77B in observation if there's any changes. (spoilers: It's all good!)

dude why did ppl hate The End of Hope’s Peak High School sm

#toasty talks #dr on the brain obviously #most of the complaints I see are that it contradicts the plot of the first games #but I honestly couldn’t fully grasp DR1 or 2 prior to having seen the anime.#personally I thought it tied things together well. I’m sure the contradictions are there and I just didn’t notice but #it clearly never broke my immersion or anything #plus!! you get to see the DR1 and 2 character being (mostly) alive and well in the end!! A++#I’m planning on rewatching so I’m just thinkin abt it cuz like. I enjoyed it quite a bit. I don’t get the hate #if it’s just that it’s ‘bad’ then. I mean you are definitely allowed to feel that way but let’s not pretend that the games are Good.#dont get me wrong I LOVE them but they are Badgood. very entertaining. full of flaws. 10/10 would not recommend you have(n’t) to see it. yk #also I suspect some of the dislike comes from watching it in the wrong order (which is the fault of some streaming sites).#unless you look it up you might not know to watch the Future and Despair arcs in alternation which is def the best way to watch it #anyway. basically I am excited to rewatch it LOLZ. i just finished the dr3 anime and

God i cried real REAL tears. i felt despair and i felt love and oh did i feel ANGER.

but most importantly i felt hope (winks)

only problem..

why did we have such little naegiri screentime. like can we give them the depth they deserve. also why did toko have like 5 seconds screentime throughout the entire series. and why did they chuck byakuya in in the first few episodes then only make him swoop in last minute. WE DIDNT EVEN SEE A FULL CLASS78 SURVIVORS REUNION. :(

but my class77 quota has been filled and is overflowing. love that for them (every time i saw chiaki i started crying)

(personally i feel like she should've been more subtle ngl) and idk maybe a convo b/w kyosuke and juzo or something them remarking on how she hasn't been the same since her class died but they assume it's trauma or depression NOT THAT SHE'S SECRETLY A DESPAIR ADFADSFDAS bc ngl that makes more sense than them not seeing she's acting totally different and not giving a shit-

Well first off, even tho its vital to the plot of dr3 I kinda super mega hate the brainwashing despair shit, so I'd immediately cut that put. I think she'd be far more compelling if she was solely manipulated and spiraled into insanity the hard way

Def agree that the reactions around her especially from Munakata and Sakakura would need some more depth to make her feel more fleshed out AND more dangerous. Her being this mole character felt kinda flat and forced to me? And I mean don't get me wrong, I like the idea, but the execution was meh

I especially love the idea of this seemingly hopeful and wonderful person secretly giving very bad advice and leading them astray. I think that could have been used more as a concept. Like, have you ever thought about how the sweets trio really doesn't suit the FFs memo AZ a beacon of hope? I'd love if Yukizome convinced them to allow the sweets trio in, knowing that they'd just be toxic and set them back.

The two Warriors of Hope who retained their talents into adulthood passions!

Masaru and Jataro are the two of the group who went on to pursue Sport and Artistic jobs. Masaru helps out Nekomaru and Akane with sports related jobs and training while Jataro helps kids express themselves through art.

Because of what happened in Towa all of the Warriors of Hope (minus Monaca) were sent to Jabberwock island to live with everyone as part of their rehabilitation. In the end the four on the island ended up legally changing their surnames to the people they felt closest to and helped them out the most.

Before the most Tragic most awful event in human history

You were something like a floating friend

Receiving something of a ‘special’ kind of teaching

you were never allowed to work alongside the other students

At least not on the regular

Technically you should have been with the upcoming 79th class but you were already so ahead of your curriculum you tend to float around to the remaining classes

“Ah it's a pleasure to have someone so full of hope visiting us~”

“Don’t mind him (Y/n)! We’re all just so happy to see you stop by!”

“Y-yeah I was hoping I could show you and Miss Sonia something I’m tinkering with–”

“Nononono! Ibuki wants you to hear this rift~Yeah!”

“It's nice that you came to visit us, maybe we can play a game together.”

“Now now class! Let’s all give them space, wouldn’t want them running off on us now.”

The 77th class is always fun and they’re a lot better at giving you the space you’d like from your older sisters

Unfortunately, though the class is quite easily distracted

More used to fighting each other before working as a united front to spend time with you

But the 78th class hits home in its own special way

“Hey you guys!”

“(Y/n)!!!”

“Did you get those donuts I sent you? I gave them to your sisters since you disappear so often.”

“(Y/n)! Do you want me to tell your future? I’m pretty sure it’s going to include us two–”

“Please refrain from upsetting our guest. I know you’d lack decorum but have a little respect.”

“So high and mighty, Togami. It's hard to take you seriously when you so obviously want their attention as well.”

“D-d-d-don’t talk to Master that way! He’s the only one who deserves to spend the time with them!”

“You realize that would exclude you right?”

“I-i’ll be the only exception!”

For all the squabbling they are still you’re friends

Which encourages you to start fighting back when despair takes hold of the world

You couldn’t save them all but you can save who’s left

“I’m going to restore the hope you once embodied…not just for the world but for me.”

After all, they are all you have left

Your sisters are sure to end themselves on their dastardly chase to despair

But is it so bad you hoped they didn’t have to
