Okay everybody, I'm gonna try this again because ghosting and deleted accounts did happen, but I'm looking for some new roleplay partners! I'm 21+, so please be at least 18+ to interact with me! I live in the EST and work A LOT, so I'm not the fastest replier, but I love ooc chatter. I'm multipara literate, and would prefer my partner be the same, but for the most part I can match style. For most of these, I am happy to try to double up, depending on my comfort with the character. Platonic or romantic interactions for these can be discussed in dms.

hello all! i’ve just recently watched netflix’s damsel and have been so inspired to write something similar. i’ve tried to keep below as spoiler free as best i can, but this is very much intended for someone whose watched it. my idea is very centred on m/m, so apologies if that’s not something you’re looking for. so, let’s get to the idea: kingdom xyz is in search of a bride and comes knocking at kingdom abc’s door looking for a suitable daughter. kingdom abc is in financial straits and desperately needs the aid that the partnership would bring, but they have a problem. they have no daughters.

however, they do have a good-for-nothing son with a pretty face. and despite protesting, their son isn’t willing to let their kingdom suffer for the sake of his own happiness. so he goes along with it, corsets and all. (more of the in between details will be discussed in dm’s)

enter the dragon (or dragonborn, if you will). hoodwinked for hundreds of years and all he has to show for it is some pissed off pseudo-princess and ye old crippling loneliness. enemies to rivals to sort-of allies to more, feat. dragon-typical arson and middle child angst. i will be playing the damsel as medieval crossdressers are my absolute jam (don’t ask).

His mission had been simple: finding and extracting a woman, take her back to his employer, and get paid. Marc had found her, but it had turned out that he was not the only one on her trail. After shooting at least two assailants, he held the woman behind him as he made sure no one would come after them.

hey ! we’re going to go ahead and combine these two asks to make this a more streamlined post . also , it’s under the cut because it’s a bit of an essay !

the pretty boy: yes , the pretty boy sure is pretty , but we really want to see someone make this muse their own . show us the pretty boy that knows their face has gotten them a lot and perhaps uses that to their gain in a way that could be seen as a bit insidious or manipulative . we want substance - and hallmarks that make them unforgettably yours . ( we’re a firm believer in any fc for any trope but here are some fcs that we can see for the pretty boy : aubrey joseph , bree kish , banita sandhu , yandeh sallah , emre bey , joe keery , alyah chanelle scott , mason gooding , evan roderick , madelyn cline , and coco jones ! )

the damsel in distress: for us , the damsel in distress is a muse who grew up on the dreams of their parents / older siblings - who squirreled away bits and pieces of those for themselves since they weren’t quite allowed to do much ( since they were sheltered ) . they’re fairly naive and have probably never even left their home before . they’re almost resigned to the life they have because fighting against it seems a little bit pointless . but camp silver lake was potentially a chance to change that ? ( some fcs that i could see for the damsel are : lovie simone , natasha liu bordizzo , blu hunt , serena motola , marina moschen , and antonia gentry . )

the anti - hero: the anti - hero acts as a foil to generally more heroic and kind characters . they have a somewhat apathetic quality to them and an anger that can burn hot or be very cold . they clearly do not want to be at camp silver lake this summer but are perhaps there to deal with some circumstances that have forced them to be at the camp . they’re not outwardly callous or cruel - i think they read more as apathetic . ( they also would , perhaps , be one of the first muses to want to save their own skin if something were to happen . ) ( we could see : kiana madeira , adeline rudolph , reina hardesty , lyrica okano , anya chalotra , aria shahghasemi , archie renaux , alex aiono , and chance perdomo . )

Aemma Arryn, Queen of the seven kingdoms, wife of his Majesty, King Viserys Targaryen.... was dead.

The woman wailed in agony, as Lauren, her dearest handmaiden, knelt at her bed side, holding her hand, and gently dapping her face with a damp cloth.

The younger girl, only nineteen, held fear in her heart for her queen. The midwives had seen many tough births and pregnancies; fmore than a few Aemma was the mother involved, but even Maester Mellos had demanded his majesty be summoned at once.

It wasn’t entirely uncommon for a father to be present for the birth of their child, but most let their women endeavor alone. Lauren had been present for the last three pregnancies of Aemmas; and while her majesty told the much younger Lauren at the time, that Viserys had been present for the birth of their first three children, the last having been born already dead.. he’d begun waiting outside her chambers at most.

When the King arrived, Lauren tried to refrain from eavesdropping, not leaving her spot, as Mellos spoke to him quickly. She realized at a certain point, that this day would not end well for her queen and her babe.

“They’re going to take the babe out now.”

Those words from her King, spoken with admiration, and love, right before her, holding the other hand of his wife.

Lauren’s breathing was heavy, and loud - the poor girl panting as she stumbled down one of the many halls; mainly empty, as most were at the tournament.

“You grace, I must insist that you reconsider-” She’d tried. She tried, knowing in technicality to voice disapproval of her kings decisions to his face could cost her, her own life.

“The decision is made.” He’d said, sparing her a glance; not wanting to see the tears that welled in the young girl who he knew cared for his wife close to as much as he had.

Lauren found an alcove, a decent ways from the Queens chambers now; and finally gave into gravity’s force, falling to her knees, holding onto the wall, as she still tried to find the air that she couldn’t seem to keep. The brutality of the last five minutes alone replaying over and over in her head.

“No I’m scared... Viserys no, please! - No! NO!”

Now it was Lauren’s cries that filled the halls of the Red Keep, for any and all to hear.
