“Oh you’re just the cutest, aren’t you?” You coo at JJ, bouncing him on your knee.
“Don’t let him fool you, he’s the antichrist.” Dina says with a groan. You shake your head.
“How could someone so cute be the antichrist? Doesn’t work like that.” You make a face at JJ causing him to giggle.
“It definitely works like that.” Jesse argues as he struts into his living room. He places a kiss on top of Dina’s head. “Look who’s here!” You pry your eyes off of the baby to see your girlfriend, Ellie, walking in. You grin. She was visiting Maria and Tommy.
“Hi babe!”
“Hey sweetheart, Dina.” Ellie walks over to you and sits down besides you. JJ immediately reaches his arms out for Ellie. “Hey little man!” She takes him from your arms and you frown, already missing the baby.
“How was seeing Maria?” Dina wonders. Jesse sits down besides Dina.
“It was fine, she tried to convince us to come back, all the usual. We have to head out in a few, it’s movie night at Joel’s and we already have a big day ahead of us tomorrow.” You nod sadly.
“I’m gonna miss you guys.”
“We miss you too! Hey next time we’ll come visit you, about time we see this farmhouse.” You nod.
“There's an extra room so you guys are welcome any time.” You reach over and grab JJ. “Only if you bring this one though.” You smile at the baby and bounce him up and down causing him to giggle. You sigh and stand up, gently handing JJ over to Dina. “We’ll see you guys soon I guess.” Ellie stands up too and says her goodbyes, soon you and her are walking hand in hand to Joel’s house.
“How was your day with Dina?” Ellie asks as she raises your hand to her mouth and presses a kiss on it.
“It was great, I really enjoyed seeing her and JJ.” Ellie laughs.
“Yeah it looked like you did.” You furrow your brows and glance at her.
“What do you mean?” She shrugs.
“Just that you seemed more happy to see JJ than Dina.” You sigh.
“Cut me some slack, I’ve always loved babies.”
“I know, never said it was a bad thing. It’s kinda hot.” You give her a pointed look. “What? I’m just saying, you’d make a great mom.” You smile.
“I always wanted to be one.” You mumble.
“Maybe we could take in one of the parentless children here one day.” You raise your eyebrows and look at your girlfriend.
“Els, that’s a big responsibility, I don’t want for us to adopt some child just because I want to. I want you to want it as well.” She stops walking and grabs your other hand.
“I want everything with you.” Your heart swarms and you avert your eyes, suddenly feeling nervous.
“I want everything with you too.” She places her hand on your cheek and kisses your forehead.
“Then we can work on childproofing the house when we get home and maybe next time we visit Jackson, we can talk to Maria.” You beam at her.
“I love you.”
“I love you too.” You peck her lips.
You and Ellie left the following morning, although your house wasn’t far from Jackson, it was still a few hours drive. You had made the drive many times before without a problem, but for whatever reason, your truck decided to break down halfway to the house.
“Dammit.” Ellie groans as she pulls away from the smoking engine. “It’s out of coolant, no way it’ll make it two hours in this heat.” You put your head in your hands as you try to think of a solution.
“There’s that gas station off of the highway, maybe we could stop there to see if there’s any coolant? Shouldn’t be too far.”
“Yeah, that’s probably the best idea. Grab your stuff, don’t leave anything valuable.” She instructs. God she was hot when she took charge. You grab your things and then take the time to admire her as she shut the hood and brushed off her hands. “What?” She asks when she catches you staring. You shrug.
“You’re hot.” She walks over to you and places her hands on your hips.
“You’re hotter.” She dips down and kisses you passionately before abruptly pulling away. “We have to get going.”
“You’re finishing that when we get home.” You say, pointing at her.
“Promise.”
You were on high alert as soon as you were near the gas station. It was evident that the reason you had never gotten out of the truck around here was because of the sheer amount of clickers around. You and Ellie had at least killed five each already, and you could still hear the sound of some coming, along with a cry coming from the gas station that you couldn’t quite decipher.
“Stay close.” Ellie whispers before walking into the gas station. As you follow her inside, you can hear the cry louder, you quickly realize it was a baby. Ellie seemed to come to this conclusion too and she followed the sound to the backroom.
“S-Stay back!” A woman yells as you open the door to the backroom. She’s disheveled, and her side is bleeding. She’s bouncing the baby in her arms trying to get it to stop crying.
“Woah hey, we aren’t gonna hurt you.” You say, putting your gun down. “Watch out for clickers.” You tell Ellie she nods and leaves the room. “How were you hurt?” You take off your backpack and fish through it for your first aid kit.
“It’s no use. I was bit.” She murmurs. You frown and put it back in your bag. “Who are you?”
“I’m Y/N.” You sit down in front of her. “Are you alone? Is there anyone I could find for you?” She shakes her head.
“Everyone’s dead.” She looks down at the baby who stopped crying. “I’m Alice. This is Sarah.” You smile.
“Nice to meet you. I wish we would have found you before, we could have taken you to a safe spot.” A tear slips down Alice’s face.
“Will you take Sarah?” She asks abruptly. You furrow your brows. “Get her to that safe spot?”
“Of course.” You reach out and put your hand on her arm.
“I have a journal in my bag. It’s over there. Give it to Sarah when she’s older, please?” You nod. “There’s some pictures of me and her Dad, Cole. Give those to her. Please.”
“Of course.” Tears well up in your eyes as you agree to the requests the weeping lady gives you.
“Y/N, I have the coolant, you ready?” Ellie says, waving the coolant at you. Alice hands you the baby. You stand up.
“Yeah, we have an extra passenger.” She nods after a second. “Where’s your bag?” Alice points at a tattered bag in the corner. Ellie goes and grabs it.
“Go wait in the other room, I’ll take care of.. her.” Your girlfriend whispers to you. You frown more but nod. As much as you wished the woman could live, it wasn’t possible. She was already infected. You cooed at the baby in your arms. She couldn’t be that old, maybe a couple months.
“Hey sweetheart.” You stroke the baby’s face. You hear a gasp from the other room and after a moment, Ellie walks out with blood covering her shirt.
“What’s the baby’s name?”
“Sarah.” Ellie’s eyes snap to yours and she nods.
“That was Joel’s daughter’s name.” Your eyes widen. Ellie walks over to you and smiles at her. “She’s cute.”
“Adorable.”
You and Ellie— and Sarah— make your way to the truck and make it there just a little after noon. Ellie adds the coolant and turns on the truck, thankfully, it turns on.
When you get back to the farmhouse, you hand Sarah off to Ellie, your arms aching from carrying her the entire walk and drive.
“So.. should we bring her to Jackson?” You ask Ellie quietly as you sit down on the couch beside her. She was making faces at the baby who was smiling. You feared her answer, you were already so attached to the baby, and her mom had entrusted her with you.
“We could.. or.. we could keep her here.” You glance at the girl. She’s smiling softly at you. “We’d have to go get some supplies for her first thing tomorrow, but.. we could make it work.” You lean over and kiss her softly.
“We will make it work.” You move the hair out of her face. “I love you.”
“I love you too, momma.” You grin and kiss her again before leaning your head on her shoulder and staring at the baby.
“She’s so damn cute.” You and Ellie giggle.
“She really is.”

No one knew how it happened, to be honest. Not that it was anyone's business why Rafe was dating you, a 'Kook poser'. But was it really so bad to be a girl who just wanted to live well?
Besides, before you met Rafe, you worked your ass off for everything that you had. A new Telfar bag dropped that you wanted? You damn near didn't sleep with the overtime you were doing at your job. Your credit card? Never not paid. Wanted a new set of nails? You sat your ass down and learned how to do them yourself.
Hyper-independence was your middle name and you wore it well.
Sometimes, it seemed your boyfriend needed to be reminded of that though.
"I don't know who the fuck you think you talking to, Ra-fa-el," you mushed his head with the pad of your index finger and watched his face get red from your exaggerative pronunciation of his full name, "but it's not fuckin' me."
His eyes were dilated and he reeked of that disgustingly expensive alcohol that Kelce gave him. His hand shot out, snatching you toward him as he sneered down at you. "Y-y'know, for someone who gets everything they want from me you don't fucking-" he barked, breathing out a humorless laugh as he shook you- "show me any goddamn respect. You get caught chatting up so-some loser and get mad at me for being a trashy, Pogue, whore-"
Rafe grunted as his head snapped back because you didn't smack him. You just socked the absolute fuck out of him. "God- dammit!" He touched his nose with a trembling hand and pulled it away to look at the blood that was already leaking down his philtrum and spread between the crevice of his lips.
He doesn't get a chance to speak again because you grab his jaw, acrylics biting into his face and squishing the meat of his inner cheeks against his teeth painfully.
You got real close to his face, eyes narrowed and lips curled into a snarl. "I don't fucking need you. I don't need you, or your coke-induced paranoia, or your goddamn daddy issues, or your fucking money. I wasn't 'chatting' that guy up, because he's my brother you idiot."
His lips parted an a hushed 'oh' fell from them as you snatched your hand away and scoffed in disbelief. "Are you serious? 'Oh'?" you mocked. "Not even an 'I'm sorry'? Better yet–getting on your knees and fucking begging for forgiveness? But of course not, that would be asking the world from Kook King, Rafe Camer...on," your voice died as you watched him slowly get on one knee, the other following.
His hand reached out and grabbed yours, bringing it to his pink, bloody lips to kiss your knuckles. Then he turned it over to press a kiss to your wrist... then your palm. His breaths were warm as they blew over your hand that he was now bringing to his face, his eyes softer now. So many times would you look at him and be staring into two voids that were nothing if not full of malice and something that made a person's soul ache.
"I'm sorry," he said softly. "I... I should've asked. I'm sorry, baby."
"Rafe-"
"I don't- I don't know what's wrong-" his voice wavered and his face pinched together as his skin flushed again, but not from anger but misery- "with me. I don't wanna be like this, I swear... m'not like this, okay? You believe me right?"
His other hand twisted itself into your dress, gripping your thigh. Words escaped you as you just let him pull you closer, and it was only natural when your arms cradled his head against your stomach.
Your heart was racing. You couldn't tell whether it was out of fear for this sudden, vulnerable turn or concern that this boy was hurting more than you thought inside. "Of course I believe you, baby," you whispered.
Wetness spread through your dress and the way he was trembling told you he was crying.
"I'll always believe you, Rafe... I'll always be on your side."
It took a while but he eventually got up from his knees, accepting your sweet, glossy kisses to his wet face as you apologized for hitting him. Somehow, you convinced him to just stay at Topper's house and sleep off what was in his system, and through your exchanged gazes it was unsaid that a break was needed between the both of you.
And the next morning, when you woke up and got dressed to go grab the mail, a bouquet of white yarrow flowers and purple hyacinths. The note inside was in his cursive handwriting.

Denji
•Give him a hug and he'll just flock to you. He'll act super embarrassed/mad if you just hug him out of nowhere but he secretly likes it.
•You can flirt with him but he'll just get super protective saying "Look, I'm with Mrs. Makima dammit. I'm not gonna fall for you!" While blushing. But he'll eventually cling on to you.
•He won't try to hold your hands much because he mainly wants you to hold his hand. If you ask him "Wanna hold hands?" He'll act confused but instantly grip your hands after that.
•He'll just stop functioning if you give him a short kiss. At first he would look completely emotionless but then he actually realizes you kissed so he gets startled and flustered.
•Denji would get super confused if you confessed without any conditions, example would be like Makima enticing Denji to kill the Gun Devil for her affection. He would have a straight face and ask "And?".
•Denji loves being held by you. He may fall asleep if you hug him too long.
Aki
•Usually if you tease him he won't react but if you constantly tease him he'll start teasing you to for payback.
•He's not really affectionate but he'll start becoming more touchy with you after a while.
•It's really hard to break his composure. One time you just gave up and just laid your head on his chest. He asked "What do you want?" Which you responded with "Your too damn cute" which he responded "Your cuter.".
•He is only mainly relaxed if he's with you. He kinda just uses you as a pillow at times.
•So he can't be flustered, it is only at rare moments where he gets flustered but he does like you despite at almost every time. Unlike most people he is around with he doesn't act annoyed around you. He mainly just acts dreamy around you. Overall he loves helping you out with things.
•When he first told his coworkers that you were his lover he got confused when you asked him "Wait you haven't even confessed yet?" Which he responded with "Do I even need a confession".
Power
•She'll obey every command you do if promise either food or hugs.
•Power would get really protective around you.
•Everytime someone asks her to go somewhere for a mission or an occasion, she always asks if you would be there to the person requesting/ordering her.
•She'll be super touchy around you and always entertained with you.
•She laughs hysterically everytime you make a joke no matter how unfunny it is. She always says "You are the perfect example of comedy!" Even though she doesn't even understand your jokes, she just laughs at them because she does think you are a perfect example of comedy.
•She always drags you around places she likes. And always holds your hand.
•She's basically hates every other human except you, Aki and Denji.
Reze
•If you ever try to fluster her, she'll competitively start to try to fluster you aswell.
•If you do manage to flatter her, she will just cover her face in defeat even tho the same time she wanted it to happen.
•Everytime she tired, she'll complain about and use it as an excuse to sleep beside you.
•She is almost never serious around you. Unlike with the people she killed.
•She treats you like a cuddly pillow! Unlike the people she killed again.

•Despite all of these, she still happens to be an affectionate gf.

Wednesday realizing her budding romantic relationship with Enid is suddenly in jeopardy by two girls who are already upfront with their intentions is so funny though, like I can imagine her first thought being murder, this is no longer a love triangle this is the hunger games big prize being a wonderful and confident werewolf gf
Wednesday: (Threatening with a knife) get back, you savages! You had your chance!
Enid: Willa?????
Not that she would be so upfront and obvious about it, but I can IMAGINE Enid presenting her as her “roomie” and Wednesday just death glaring harder than she has done ever before, meanwhile Enid is just (understandably) lost and begging Yoko for help, and Yoko thinks it’s absolutely hilarious and there is already a betting pool on which shorty with an attitude will win
Listen, I think witnessing Enid be absolutely distraught for two years with two separate girls than she did with Ajax could be proof that Enid needs some love in her life
Like pheobe left Enid quiet when the second semester of junior year came in and she wouldn't say a damn thing abt her experience. The only proof that smth happened are those posts this pheobe did on Enid's phone and pictures that Enid would look at sometimes before she locked them away
Bc dammit, I feel so bad for the amount of whump I put her through so I'm letting her be chased and feel the love of someone that could've went so well
Unfortunately life don't work like that, soooo
Enid moves on, slowly then she meets Tara during the start of senior year and it's this whirlwind all over again. Except her ass got in the middle of a murder mystery that lasts for three to four days and Enid doesn't know if what she's truly feeling is romance or the high of nearly dying bonding them together
In the end, it doesn't matter and so they hug it out and Enid is thinking this might just be her love life, drifting from person to person and losing parts of herself to a what could've been
So when smth is could happen with Wenclair near the end of senior year, Enid is rightfully afraid because she doesn't want to lose wednesday. There's something terrifying about high-school ending and realizing that their friendship could end with it too
So when February rolls around with Wenclair still skirting along each other, the girls roll in and holy shit the way the gang were vibing in Jericho did not at all expect Enid to freeze
And yknow your chances are on the line because Enid isnt insecure. Okay that's a lie, she is a lil bit, but shes brave at times and it says something that when a girl with leather jacket walks in, Enid fucking dives behind yoko
Wednesday thinks it's a potential murder victim, maybe it's an old girl who bullied her loathed love
Except leather jacket goes "Enid!" with the biggest smile ever and is Enid looking shy!? The wolf is peaking out of Yoko's shoulder, giving a wave as she tucks a strand of hair behind her ear with a nervous grin
The werewolf hasn't blushed since junior year, who tf is this girl
"pheobe," Enid breathes and oh hell no, the way Wednesday went from fingering her knife to full on grasping it has the rest of the gang looking at her
Safe to say Enid ditches them and Wednesday is left sulking at the table, glaring daggers at the back of the werewolf because what in the nine circles of hell is this!?
Enid's distracted the whole weekend after that and like okay, Wednesday understands, Enid can have friends but she misses her roommate like a man missing his lung. Everything is damn unbearable without her and so it's a relief when Monday comes around because Enid is studious, surely there is-
There's a college student introduced to them in biology class, said to be staying there for a week to figure out more about outcasts
Nevermore, ever so accepting and willing to bridge a gap between normies and outcasts accepted the offer off a student staying for a bit, absolutely ecstatic at this chance
Alright, normally wednesday wouldn't care until Enid freezes once again in the corner of her eyes.
Something drops in the seers gut and a horrible festering feeling churns
Yoko is out, having skipped the lesson so there is one empty seat next to the werewolf. Wednesday has no good reason to stab the teacher for their convoluted plan because it was simply understandable to put the new outlier in an empty seat
(she might spike their drink in pettyness however)
So Wednesday watches with a tight jaw as this normie went and slipped her hand into Enid's so easily that it left the watcher green with envy
"enid," tara says and she's looking at her roommate like she's the reason she lives. It's disgusting because wednesday recognizes it like it's her own face
"told you we'd meet again," enid chirps and she looks delighted. "I didn't expect it to be like this tho!"
It's another one, Wednesday thinks and her pen snaps in half.

Hi I know and have seen that you are making sure to keep people aware of what is going on in Israel and Palestine, and I just wanted to say thank you, it is easy to encounter a situation in which people feel that there is nothing more they can do, so they just ignore it and push it to the back of their mind to feel better. So I just wanted to thank you keeping in upfront and evident. 1/2

Ah, thank you. It just feels there should be SO much more of an outcry and if people are quiet because they don't know enough or if they think the situation is too complicated then I can at least show objectively terrible things to cut through that. Because children shouldn't be killed. Journalists, hospitals, civilians shouldn't be attacked. There's no justification to starve a population. No matter how little people know of the situation, no matter what the narrative is from our government and media, those things are true. The best option for the Israeli hostages is a ceasefire and both Israel and the US have concluded Hamas will continue to exist after this, so there's literally no reason this violence should be continuing even if you think catastrophic levels of collateral loss are acceptable for October 7th (which... you shouldn't).
I'm also hoping I can convey just how dark and vicious this all has been and how it's contributing to creating generational levels of trauma and hate. The racism and disregard for brown lives needed to allow this are so apparent and so present in the West, it's really shifting whole worldviews. It isn't only seeing these atrocities, it's the West's support and tacit allowance that's really shaken people. Americans especially who want to ignore it should be ashamed already, but they should be more active if only out of self-preservation, it's going to bounce back, one way or another.

It seems very similar to the '90s and '00s romcoms, you got your hapless Relatable loser of a lead with his perfect gf and then suddenly her perfect ex but of course hapless Relatable loser "wins" because the gf loves him, dammit.
I know various romcoms have done that, but I feel like at least a few storylines, movies and TV, have had the ex be a woman?
I suppose it's not inherently bad to be so old-fashioned or have the woman lose the love triangle but it's just... you know. I love how Lila used her signature move to motivate Felix - it’s always what she talks back on, threatening people using their loved ones. I mean, I hate her guts. But I love what she did because it’s in-character for her vile ass.

Also I love how Felix thought of murder bacteria and viruses, you can really see how much he hates Lila and also I think it shows he still doesn’t like killing someone with his own hands so he prefers indirect methods - he really does respect life 😭 (also a super-killer senti-virus sounds absolutely terrifying. Like. He can make it act within seconds. In any way he wants. No cure. No vaccine. The only limit on how badly and quickly Lila suffers is his imagination alone. 😬 )
Also I know I should be more happy about Adrien bette but Felix is my fave okay so now I’m just like. HELLO. PRIORITIES?!?!?!

(yeah felix was ready to violate the geneva codes and commit some biological war crimes. i honestly did want to expand on this more throughout the fic because i think it's really interesting how the peacock could be used in that way! and also ofc felix's mind would go there, ofc it would. but he was satisfied with his gf lighting volpina up.)

I got a pair of lovely comments on my Gravity Falls fics on ao3 the other day so im posting this on a whim. 3 Gravity Falls AUs I’m kinda in the process of writing right now and sorta hope to someday actually release. Would love to hear what people in the GF fandom think of them. Lots of words under cut:
Fixing Stars - Inspired by “Drifting Stars” and “Grifting Stars”. It doesn’t quite fit the naming convention, but in my defense not many words rhyme with ‘drifting.’ Anyway, the premise is that, during NWHS, Mabel is about to get sucked into the portal when Soos jumps at her and gets sucked in himself instead. The story is half spent with Stan, Dipper, and Mabel as they deal with the fallout and half spent with Soos and Ford as the two stick with each other. This story features
Dipper, by all accounts, feeling that he was proven right about the portal and thus about Stan even though the world didn’t literally end. After all, it sucked in one of his best friends. Can his trust be repaired?
Mabel knows that Soos got sucked in to save her and that it only happened because she didn’t push the button. While she can’t regret trusting Stan, she does regret trusting herself. Can she regain her hope?
Every time the portal has activated, Stan has lost family (because him and Soos ARE family DAMMIT! its MY AU and I get to choose the interpretational hill to die on). While he is more desperate than ever to get them back, this is a serious blow to his already abysmal sense of self-worth.
Ford and Soos, two curious and resourceful people, make a surprisingly good team navigating the multiverse together.
Soos, who desperately wants a familial relationship with Stan, meets someone who had that relationship and threw it away. Meanwhile, Ford meets someone who sees Stan as an incredible protector and a way out of loneliness, and feels like he is meeting his foolish younger self.
Without a memory gun modification method, the three at home need to find another way to dispatch those agents.
They have all three journals, Dipper has a knack for the blueprints, and three heads are better than one, but the portal is in shambles on the floor and Dipper and Mabel go home in a little over a month.
As Fiddleford recovers, will he be a help or a hindrance in the portal’s restoration?
You know, nobody’s keeping an eye out for rifts...
Levity Falls - Not exactly an AU, but rather a collection of several AUs that coexist in the multiverse. Simply put, the premise is that the anti-characters listed in Anti-Mabel’s profile are not from the same universe but rather they all emerged from their own canon divergences. (HAFHSW IRU DQWL-ELOO, WHFKQLFDOOB. KH'V VRUW RI D VSHFLDO FDVH.) I wanna withhold details for this one because I think the story is pretty twisty and I like it that way. But I think key to it is the fact that every single character’s backstory is incredibly tragic but also incredibly stupid. Yes, even Anti-Ford’s backstory is tragic.
Distant Relativity Falls - Bad name, need a better one. By all appearances, this is a simple variation of Relativity Falls, one that takes place in nineteen-sixty-something rather than modern days, with a few unique features. But there are hints that maybe there’s something else going on here.
While they go by Grauntie Mabel and Grunkle Dipper, Stan and Ford know this is a simplification and that Dipper and Mabel are not the siblings of their grandparents, but rather some complicated form of distant relatives, hence the tentative AU title.
Certain characters like Soos, Wendy, and Pacifica are nowhere to be seen.
There is no portal, there is no bunker, and there is no journal except for the one Stanford picks out and starts when Dipper and Mabel tell them to get one item each, on the house. (Stan gets a pair of bedazzled brass knuckles)
While Dipper and Mabel both live in Gravity Falls, they live in different parts of the town and run their own businesses. While they both clearly adore Stan and Ford and are similar to each other in a lot of ways, they can’t seem to stop themselves from incessant bickering whenever they are together for extended periods of time.
Mabel, the town’s premiere artist in a variety of mediums, runs a wildly successful craft store and homemade knick-knack shop where she stocks popular handcrafted items and takes commissions. She is a household name in town and has no humility about this fact.
Dipper runs a wildly unsuccessful secret-themed summer program and associated gift shop featuring studying, code-breaking, ARGs, and a woefully-ahead-of-its-time Escape Room.

My GF's thoughts on SRMTHFG S1
So my girlfriend has been watching Srmthfg with me whenever we have time and its just a fun time. Especially since I'm not a person who will defend this show with every fiber of my being, anymore. So I can enjoy the bad writing and moments with her.
She was very sweet to even watch this with me and has been going on a trippy roller coaster. At times she'll lose track of the setting or get too lost in the music forget about the plot entirely. Sometimes it's just my fault cause I talk to much and I tend to talk to the fictional characters like I just showed my girlfriend extended family lol. Anyways let's just start.
Uhh actually disclaimer: This is for fun and Im just sharing this cause this was interesting to see what someone being introduced to this show reacts. She's also someone who has read and studied animals almost all her life. She's very critical when animals are involve, like me with television. But uhh yeah the monkey sounds really get to her. Like she is put off guard everytime.
-First off the bat Antuari, Oh boy! lol The moment he came on screen she just had questions. "Why does the black monkey have yellow eyes? Why is he voiced by a black voice actor?" (My gf is African American btw)
I laughed at this and took note to this. I already warned her lot about this show before watching so this was just added info that I could use. But I believe Antuari is her least favorite in the team. Not because of what I stated before but that she doesn't care for his personality.
-Otto though is her favorite, who's surprised though hehe. She loves his nature and his energy. Basically he's a lot like me so she loves him lol. But yeah we just laugh at this sweet green bean and want to pat his head
-Nova Though she doesn't say much about her whenever I do bring her up she just says she's too cool for this team. So i think I can say she likes her
btw I wanna address I didnt ask her questions for this review. I wanted to just enjoy this show with her without her feeling like she had an interview afterwards. So this is off memory and yes she gave me permission to write this.
My gf likes Gibson but she's never been a fan of shows having the brainiac characters say very stereotypical smart guy language. She also agrees that he is very gay and his weapon is super useful.
Sprx-77 now is an interesting one. She started out disliking him cause of his "asshole" personality. However starting after ep 4 she changed her mood immediately. Which was cool to see.
We also are already 3 eps into S2 and her favorite episode of the whole show so far has been 'World of Giants' which I knew she would like. That episode was funny ok, cringe isn't a word I use to critic work yal just don't like to have fun.
Anyways when we discussed his character, she simply just liked how he treats Chiro like a kid. He lets Chiro skip patrol to watch shows, asks if he needs help, and is normally on his side.
Honestly i feel like when Chiro joined the team Sprx was against it cause he was in fact a child but didn't have much of a say in the matter or Chiro was too stubborn to take no. So Sprx just tries to relate and understand him the most. Sprx is Chiro's dad not Antauri, I will die on this hill!!
Chiro is constantly being made fun of by my girl. She just can't stop mentioning about his head being so wide it's funny! lmao
Jinmay - She knew she was a robot right away but jumped when Soko started to speak lol. She doesnt care for Chiro/Jinmay's relationship which I fight her about lol.
Mandarin - Another monkey she felt was racist right away but she thinks he's threating. She was really interested in his villain role and wasn't disappointed til the season finale. We also both agree that him and Antuari are exes lol.
So the finale uhhh we were watching it and most through all of the 2 episodes she just said, " Yep this was just an old transformers movie but like mediocre." I facepalmed so hard. Dammit Ciro!
So yeah she likes the show. It's nothing she'll talk about for hours but I never excepted her to be into it in the first place. In fact I never intended to show this show anytime soon but she wanted to watch it with me. And I simply couldn't be happier. So I'll watch whatever anime she puts in front of me despite disliking 90% of animes.

Ep 1-4
It's been so long I can't even remember some parts of it cos we watched it before but stopped watching by the end of ep 4. Probably because we just can't understand Yeon's obsession with Ah-Eum??
Ep 5-6
It has a slow pace but it also feels like their relationship is going way too fast?? You get what I mean? I'm so curious about Yoori's identity tho cos I feel like that's one of the things that they haven't discussed as thoroughly as Shinju's and the fox bros obvs. So I'm definitely really waiting on that being revealed.
I'm so curious about the fox marble as well. I've watched a couple of gumiho kdramas in the past (My GF is a Gumiho, Gu Family Book, My Roommate is a Gumiho, to name a few) and the "bead" or in this case I think is the "marble" has to be really important. It played a pivotal role in MGFIAG so I'm kinda scared that Ji-Ah still hasn't told Yeon that she exchange the marble for his freedom.

Am I the only one who feels like everything is painstakingly slow?? To be honest I just wanna know more about Rang and I'm watching this because I'm just really curious about Rang.

OMGG bb boii Rang was stabbed by Yuri when she was hypnotized by the serpent skskskskks. The ending was sksksksksksks WTHH. I have so many questions.

I forgot to update this omg hahahaha. Anyway, we finished it and I still can't believe Rang died. Like—I STILL CAN'T. It's so unfair 😭 To be honest, I didn't really cry much when Lee Yeon died (sorry I just know he's gonna live I've watched season 2 first) so when he died I was just like, "Well, okay get a move on" but dammit nothing absolutely nothing prepared me for Rang dying in exchange for his brother being reincarnated. Like sht that hurt so bad, I cried buckets. Especially bcs, he's finally getting his happy ending now?? He has a family, he has people he wanted to take care of, it's so cruel 😭 I just wanna cry to the writers of the show and tell them, "WHYYY it's so unfair!! Just bcs he's not the main protagonist?? He gets to be killed off like that?? How could you" 😭 Even though I absolutely know deep down that Rang dying is part of his redemption arc.
By the way, those 3 days where everybody's dying is soooo unnecessary to be honest. All those people killed off by the serpent and for what?? To be honest, I can totally see Old Lady's point—it wasn't executed well (I mean at least have a conversation first with Lee Yeon and try to work things out before you jump and change a person's lifeline for goodness sake!!) but it really is unfair for all those people to be killed off bcs of his personal goal. I know some part of my rant might be a bit unfair for the main couple and the serpent is definitely the one to be blamed but just that unfairness again is making it seem like a single person's life feels more important than 900 who died so unfairly without reason.
Anyway, happy for Lee Yeon he get to be exactly what he wanted to be, which is to be human and to be by Ji-a's side.
I FINISHED THIS!! 8/10. It's really good story wise, I've watched season 2 first so I might be a bit biased to say I liked that season much much better than this one. Probably bcs Lee Yeon's character in season 2 isn't too sappy or cheesy or ugh romantic. But i still loved this drama, the CGI is always amazing, the soundtrack is to die for, the cinematography, the lights, the slow-motions is just *chef's kiss. I've been craving some good fantasy drama and this just hits the spot 😌👌

* She is actually very soft hearted and needs some soft love sometimes. Just sit with her under a blanket she made and watch a romcom. Don't judge her for binge eating, she needs to eat well to support her quirk. If anyone makes fun of her kick their ass into the stratosphere.
Aoyama
* He simply will not stop sparkling and neither shall you. He shares his skin care, hair care and multi vitamins with you. You're both glowing, literally.
* He can be spontaneous and over the top in everything he does. He likes to show off and catch stares. He wants to catch your stare. If you gaze longingly at him he'll act suave while squealing with glee inside.
* He spends his money frivolously. He buys expensive care products, jewelry, clothes, stuffed animals...Did I mention it's all for you? He's penniless for you and doesn't mind that at all.
* He craves your attention so much. Spend some time alone with him and just look at him. In public keep your eyes locked on him. His ego will go through the roof, in the best way.
Monoma
* He is so fucking full of himself. Until you're around. He's usually narcissistic and up his own ass but when you walk by he's suddenly humble, kind and friendly. It's just him wanting you to see his good side.
* Sweet hearted asshole wants to feel loved. Just be kind to him. Help him with his homework. Spend free time with him. Help him show up 1-A. He'll love it.
* Totally uses you as a reason 1-B is better than 1-A. "Sure you guys fought villains and all but you don't have anyone even vaguely as attractive as my beloved!" Just let him have his fun in the sun.
* His hero costume is over the top for a reason. He wants to be the prince to sweep you off your feet, kiss you and ride off on a horse. He has the attire covered. Next, your love.
Hitoshi
* Above anything please just be accepting of his quirk. Don't ask him to use it for anything unnecessary or say anything bad about it. He's been ridiculed his entire life for his "villainous quirk", please be kind.
* Nap with him dammit. He's sleeping deprived because he pours all day and night into becoming good enough for 1-A. He wants to be a real hero and he values that over sleep. Cuddle with him at night and he'll sleep like a happy rock.
* You must love cats, end of discussion. His backpack is cat shaped, his phone case is a cat, his spirit animal is a cat, he may as well be a cat. He'd be over the moon if you compares him to a Maine Coon.
* When he does get into 1-A please be happy for him. He worked so hard for it, show your support. Even if you're in different classes you can see each other during lunchbreaks and after school.
Mirio
* He is sunshine. He is warmth. He adopts introverts. It's our man. His hugs are like butterfly kisses if they could crush you.
* He's the type to be really into you and still treat you like a friend. He can't get with someone unless he knows them very well beforehand.
* Though he's friendly and out reaching to others he's still a private person who shares little about his personal life. He needs to learn about you first. Being open yourself will encourage him to start chatting about himself.
* He loves romantic songs. He isn't one for Spotify, playlists or the such but if he hears a song that makes him think of you he's texting you the link immediately. He gets so caught up texting you that he stops listening to others and is in his own little world.
Tamaki
* He is just....So shy. So baby. He really wants to be a strong hero and save the people he loves but he is so shy. Don't pressure him into anything, he just needs someone who will let him be himself.
* That said, he has no experience in love. He's had crushes over the years but nothing meaningful enough to mention. Until you came along and took his heart for a stroll. Now you're all he thinks about. Is your hand warm? Do you like to kiss cheeks? What's your favorite flavor Pop Tart?
* When he manages to confess to you (not if, when) it'll be something cheesy but sweet. Like on Valentine's Day he'll leave a heartfelt card on your desk with his signature and a flower. He's a simple man.
* His feelings are so sensitive please never yell at him, not even out of excitement. He's scared of upsetting the people he cares about and wouldn't dream of upsetting you, his little mochi ice cream. Yes all his pet names for you are based on food.
Nejire
* She's the personification of a flower crown. With thorns. Very soft, sweet and pleasing to the eyes but very capable of defending herself. She is not a sex object and beats the ass of anyone who says so about herself or you.
* I personally headcanon her as asexual but that's my idea on it. You can see it however you like. Either way she's very romantic and loves cute gestures like 3 foot tall teddy bears and hand sewn clothes.
* Imagine this: at the beauty pageant, she wears a dress you sewed for her yourself and, alongside her natural beauty and talent, wins the pageant. She would have just been proud to show everyone your skills but she won wearing that dress, you can bet she's telling everyone you made it.
* She treats Eri like a daughter and hopes you'll do the same with her. Call it a little childish but she loves the idea of playing house with you. Married in a little happy home caring for Eri together.
