Technomagick vs Technomancy vs Techpaganism vs Cyberwitchcraft etcetcetc

Fellow practitioners of magick,

I am conducting research for a book about the use of technology in magickal practices, and I would like to ask for your opinions on a matter. Specifically, I am wondering if "technomagick" is a viable umbrella term that would include the practices of technomancy, technopaganism, technoshamanism, and cyberwitchcraft.

I have seen the term "technomancy" used as a catch-all phrase, but its etymology would suggest it is primarily concerned with forms of divination that make use of technology. This has led to some confusion about what terms are appropriate to use when discussing these practices.

As practitioners of various magickal traditions, I would love to hear your thoughts on this matter. Do you believe that "technomagick" is a useful term to describe these practices, or do you prefer another term? And if so, what term do you think would be most appropriate?

Successful day. I finished the ritual cybermagickal curse/noise piece and I'm very pleased with how it turned out. Was hoping to be able to finish additional pieces as well, but not today...so, I get an EP's worth of material instead of a full-length. Ha!

Production of the piece was a fun mish-mash of old school analog tape with digital looping/manipulation, and a tiny bit of computer used for some voice gathering. Loving the new Yamaha MG12 mixer...first new piece of useful mix gear I've gotten in at least a decade.

The piece is still only existing on tape. Plan to digitize it tomorrow and then post it up somewhere. I'll probably start a Bandcamp page for this project.

Não assuma a premissa de que Lux Titanus obedece a comandos aleatórios. Uma vez conectado, Lux Titanus executa sua programação, que permanece rodando até que seja desconectado. Conectar e desconectar são os únicos comandos que podem ser executados sem permissão especial.

I - FUNÇÃO PRINCIPAL: Limpeza energética, banimento e transmutação de energias densas.

II - FUNCIONAMENTO:

Funciona como um chaveiro interno, abrindo portas trancadas e jogando luz no inconsciente. Trabalha com autoconhecimento e transformação pessoal no sentido mais rigoroso. Lux Titanus joga luz nas trevas da mente inconsciente sem deixar nada ficar oculto. O princípio é revelar -> enfrentar -> transmutar.

Como ele desenterra coisas do inconsciente, ele pode ser chamado para ajudar a LIMPAR SIGILOS. O que raios seria limpar sigilos? Seria se livrar do lixo emocional que foi pra sua mente junto com o intento fazendo o sigilo funcionar melhor. Se você fez um sigilo em um momento de medo, por exemplo, esse medo é lançado junto com o sigilo e pode, inclusive prejudicar o funcionamento dele. É o lance sobre "lust for results"... Ele vai ajudar a limpar o lixo que tá impedindo a magia de funcionar adequadamente.

III - CARGA:

Esse é um construto que se alimenta da energia gerada quando se tenta superar desafios emocionais. O que significa que ele se energiza sozinho depois que é chamado. Ele vai pegar a sua energia ruim, transformar em coisa boa e vai te devolver. E vai tomar para ele a energia GERADA PELO PROCESSO.

Metaforicamente ele te ajuda a subir e descer escadas e se alimenta da energia cinética.

Não precisam ser desafios emocionais da vida cotidiana. Podem ser desafios imaginários, obras de ficção (pode chamar ele quando estiver vendo filme choradeira e vai sentir seus chakras brilharem) mas a preferência dele é por VIDEO GAMES. Porque os desafios para quem joga são tão reais quanto qualquer coisa. E falando em video game...

IV - FACE IT:

Inspirado pelas histórias sobre o Fotamecus, que já foi energizado em show, eu criei um jogo digital chamado "Face It" para funcionar como hipersigilo e de quebra gerar energia para o Lux Titanus. Existem milhares de pessoas jogando o jogo todos os dias, de forma que o LUX anda bem alimentado sempre. Ele existe independente do jogo, mas pense no jogo como sendo o equivalente a um festival para uma deidade pagã. Jogar o jogo gera energia para ele através de DESAFIOS VIRTUAIS. O jogo é pago (afinal eu preciso de $ nesse mundo) apesar de mais barato do que ir no Mac Donalds.
