There is a lawsuit that's been filed against Google over the AI scraping and related policy change: Case 3:23-cv-03440-LB.

Google is claiming more or less they're allowed to use whatever public data. However, to take a quote from the CNN article;

Which is something anyone who's ever gone over copyright and ethics knows regarding content.

Honestly this is a huge mess and Google is once again showing how shitty they are.

I still cannot eat.

Let me just explain my “unspecified” eating disorder and maybe somebody can help me out.

I cannot eat. I’m basically starving myself and when I eat I throw up. But none of it’s on purpose.

I lost a lot of weight the healthy way going to the gym, and then I experienced a traumatic event and boom, I can’t eat anything for months now. The smell of food makes me throw up, even food I love and want to eat. I’m not trying to throw up to lose weight, I’m not bulimic, but I can’t stop it from happening as if I had a stomach bug (also accompanied by the always present since childhood CVS). And because of the vomiting I cannot bring myself to eat, and I’ve lost over 20 lbs without working out. I go days without eating anything until I have to force something down because I’m dizzy or nauseous.

I want to eat again but I don’t know how. I’m not unhappy with my weight and I don’t wanna starve myself. Any tips?

I think that Infero assumed he was just an animatronic who got hit with some kind of plushie spell or was from a plushie AU at first, which, while still unsettling, isn’t as bad as a regular living doll. The others were definitely uncomfortable with him as well, before they all found out he was actually a ghost. Realizing it was, in fact, a haunted plushie, freaked them all out, but realizing Pyre was just a CV Solar ghost helped them all get used to it. It’s much easier to deal with the freaky living plush when they know it’s being haunted by family.

Kazuma is a sly and stubborn boy who has an impulsive habit of stealing. He’s a bit crow-esque in that he’s rather loud and adores shiny trinkets. He tends to be rather boisterous and dramatic with his reactions, as well as being a bit of a brat when people don’t give him attention. Just days of Dr appointments this week. But saw the medical oncologist and I’m not going on Tamoxifen or Ibrance (yay! Because I didn’t like their list of side effects) but instead were trying Arimidex (worst side effects hot flashes, joint pain and osteoporosis) and he’ll see how I’m doing in a month. Because it causes osteoporosis, I had to have a bone density test today. Then I went to CVS to pick up the Rx and there was no charge for it! Could I have finally picked a decent health plan??? We’ll see.

Also had my mediport flushed and found out he doesn’t want it removed for a year yet, just in case we need it again. I said “we’ll that’s not thinking positively!”

Monday I see the surgical oncologist and we’ll set up the new mammograms and such. So I’m done with active treatments but I still have quite a few appointments through February.

Also I’ve lost 10 lbs the past couple weeks but there’s no one to yell at me now. Just haven’t felt like eating much. And the brain fog! Whoo baby. I’m lucky I can remember my own name, so yeah, still feeling the effects of radiation.

So things have been ... crazy.

Finally weighed myself. 126 lbs exactly. So fuck. I was right, I have gained weight. But I'm also going to be getting my period soon so hoping some of that weight is just hormonal. I've been wearing the health tracker watch which is definitely not a great one. It was cheap as hell and on sale so definitely got what I paid for. That said, it tracks steps pretty accurately (I think). It also tracks calories burned but ONLY cals burned from steps taken so ... I at least get an estimate of what I've burned.

Yesterday was also just insane. So much happened. It was about 20°F all day which omg ... so cold. I was out running around all day searching for film and films sleeves and other materials for my darkroom class. Spent so much money omg. Finally returned back at my apartment pretty late in the afternoon and checked my school email. Got a few photos curated into an upcoming show at the school gallery which is fun. Can use it on my cv. Was exhausted after everything, though, so showered and went to bed. Well ... was woken up a few hours later by the building fire alarm going off. No one knew if we had to actually evacuate or if it was was just glitching and going off for no reason (that happened a few times recently so yeah).

Well it wasn't glitching and we did have to actually evacuate. No one knew what what was going on, firefighters were called, and everyone was huddled together outside in 16°F ... for about 45 minutes. Apparently the building hadn't caught fire. A pipe burst in a 3rd floor apartment and that, somehow, triggered the fire alarm. Feel so bad for whoever's in that apartment. I walked by their balcony when I went out earlier. They have rugs and other stuff left out to dry on their balcony but, with the cold, it's just turned to ice. And there's a chance of snow/sleet/rain whatever it'll be tonight through Thursday. I said it earlier and I'll say it again. I live in a part of the world that is normally very hot and humid. Just the hypothetical chance of temps dropping to the 30's sends everyone into a frenzy because our power supply cannot handle that.

So ... yeah. Things have been fucking insane omg.

I left to do kid bedtime and it was 3-2. I came back and it's now 8-3?!?!?!?!?

Don't worry, this isn't an OC. It's actually my redesign for Aki! Honestly I didn't even really change her that much, I just made her like 10% more goth lmao. Anyway I spent way too long designing this outfit so [gently grabs viewer like a squeaky toy] I'm gonna talk about it.

Long rant under the cut, so if you don't wanna read it feel free to scoot lmao.

We all know Aki's outfit, right? Very Victorian-inspired, but with a short pencil skirt and garters. I wanted to keep that same vibe, since I'm a firm believer in letting people wear what they want without judgement. However, I also know that Aki was designed by someone, since she's a character in a story and thus has no actual agency over her own design. Also, she's canonically 16 in season 1, and I really don't like the trend in mid-00s anime to sexualize teenage girls. Hell, it's not like the trend has stopped either, it's still happening! [pointed glance at momo yaoyorozu]

So what I did instead was take a lot of inspiration from gothic lolita fashion, as well as steampunk. Since lolita was first created to be as far from the image of the "ideal woman" as possible, it felt like a good starting point for what I wanted. Same with the corset, I personally believe corsets aren't inherently sexual, so all I did there was give her some little sleeves and a neckline lmao. Beyond that, I just added makeup and piercings.

The makeup was inspired by both corpse paint and visual kei makeup, as well as CV Dazzle, which is the act of using makeup to trick facial recognition. However, CVD is actually deprecated now, since the algorithm it was designed to trick has been improved. Also, I just think it's neat lmao.

I didn't put this in the info since technically in the story we don't know this is Aki yet, but did you know her canonical weight is 43 kilograms? Even at 163 cm, that's very underweight. The healthy weight for a person of that height is between about 44.6 kg and 65.4 kg. That's 94.8 pounds at 5'4 for my American readers, with the healthy weight between 98.3 and 144.2 lbs. Personality:

A wild card of a personality. Level headed, ambitious, and light hearted. Sometimes smug (she hangs around Renji, so she adopts this trait from him) and cautious (her time spent in Squad 3 before Aizen's betrayal normally kept her on the edge with Gin; after transferring to Squad 6, she found to miss her old atmosphere a bit so she tries to liven things up when and if she can). She's easily impressed, whether it be by her own actions or of another, and unfortunately gullible when it comes to a topic she knows next to nothing about. When under a lot of pressure, she’s prone to lashing out at others in frustration.

During battle, she tries to observe as much as she can about her opponent and strategize, but will take action without thought if the circumstances require it. She can get into a bit of a frenzy if pushed to her limit, disregarding her own safety in the process.

A kidō type zanpakutō that numbs whatever it cuts. It relies on numerous cuts to eventually cause instability to the receiving end of these attacks. The attacks are meant to inflict the same pain you would get if you were to be bitten by an animal- latched onto you with a strong grip and increasing pressure that would cause the limb or affected area to gradually lose feeling. One small cut acts almost like an anesthetic, which comes in handy when treating pain in an emergency; because of this, Aoi usually finds herself volunteering around Squad 4 in her freetime.

Zanpakutō Spirit:

Her Zanpakutō spirit manifests itself in a lanky, humanoid form with distinct wolf characteristics. She wears a bandaged top along with a black, side-slitted hakama. It is adorned with a belt in the style of a Shimenawa; a shide hangs in its center. A childish scatterbrain, she shows a more cold, dominant and sadistic side when threatened. Her childlike behavior gave her the nickname “Maōko”.

Her inner world consists of a flooded, barren forest with a thick fog covering the ground. Trees that are caved in or knocked over are one way she lets her presence be known.
