To be perfectly honest? I think most realistically he would've ruled maybe six months at best and then keeled over from stress and exhaustion.

#seriously he wouldn't want to be the pope papacy is for chumps but if he had to #he would've kicked out so many cardinals #his former colleagues riddled with corruption nepotism incompetence and moral decay #it would've upsetted so many elite families but what are they gonna do #pope's power is absolute he could totally do that #just excommunicate the whole lot #do something to get Holy See's finances in order he's been crunching numbers they aren't looking good #build sturdier foreign relations probably he's a diplomat I think he'd likely be extremely done with superfluous wars and useless bickering #maybe commission some extravagant artworks art is nice he knows to appreciate beauty when he sees it #become the senselessly rich patron to a handful of top notch artists although I think he already does that in canon timeline #I'm not sure how he'd handle the ongoing counter-reformation I guess it depends whether this was before or after the inquisition times #minimal public appearances because lord that's way too many people too many eyes being a figurehead is not his strongest suit #develop stomach ulcers get sepsis #historically it's actually not very uncommon for popes to expire relatively quickly after they're elected #they don't even have to be particularly old stuff's just tiring they get frazzled out #answered #anonymous #Machete

i wish sonic prime had a more interesting premise and wasn't just like "here's more multiverse slop" because it's such a barrier of entry to me. like i know that the animation is fun and that they seem to be doing interesting things with sonic's and shadow's dynamic in particular but grrr why did they have to make it a multiverse couldn't they have gone with literally anything else

#soda offers you a can #more power to those who enjoy that stuff but it's like active repellent to me #i'd rather give sonic x another attempt than sit through a show of characters in funny hats and underdeveloped characters #bc there's too much going on to give everyone a fully-fledged arc thus reducing them to like visual filler or something #like the boom cartoon was just there to be funny and didn't have that much depth at all sure #and the animation had a tendency to be mid bc budget crunch what have you #but it had a single setting and it stuck to it. a cast of characters that were explored evenly enough #and if they wanted funny hats they made a silly excuse to give everyone funny hats #that didn't involve ~the multiverse oooh~#sorry old man yells at a children's cartoon moment #tho i think it's more old man yells at mass-media trends that are almost inherently uninteresting and difficult to make compelling

Scarlet and Violet, performance wise really lacking to the point where it's obvious there needs to be changes to how staff need to be treated better and given more time to work, are really some of the best games in the mainstream series I've ever played and I just really want to talk forever about how amazing it all is

#my switch is getting repaired for drift but man am i itching for it back #I was in the middle of the champion assessment too #but omg I really love the game and the writing and grgrgrgr #I want to bite sada/turo until they blow up #i want to hold arven nemona and penny for being such well written characters with their struggles and bonds together #i want to shake clavell's hand for being an older man in a very gen x/z environment trying to be hip but also wanting the acadamy to-#actually be safe and welcoming while taking accountability for how bullying was ignored and his own dismissal of team star #i want to cry because the teachers are so nice and understanding and actually educate their students while being open to help #and how miriam is an example of someone who tries so hard to achieve their dream for it to be just out of reach #and how the gym leaders have so much personality and how the e4 are so close-knitted together with a little girl in the middle of it all #how koraidon/miraidon thrive under the love the get from the protag and how they act just like giant dogs with the attention they want #and how they're considered low on the ladder in their species in terms of power and size but still have lots of pride and power #i wanna learn more about the crater grgrg #just really really love this game and i miss my lite neee come back to meeee #and yeah i've played from firered to now in terms of mainstream so yeah def i'm being serious #but for real the staff deserve more respect and time literally everyone can agree the game could've waited if it meant better treatment #I really appreciate the love that went into it despite the crunch but it's still shit about the obvious rush #like we know it's not the switch please lengthen the time for people to work on the games so both parties can actually enjoy things #but yeah #pokemon sv spoilers #rosebud posting 💐
