Cromwell Street is where the infamous Fred and Rose West lived, and where the pair carried out their brutal torture, rape and murder of at least 10 young women between 1967 - 1987.

Thomas had so much planned out for everyone. If there is one thing Wolf Hall shows us it's how much he plans ahead and how much he thinks about everyone's future without him. It's just an eerie detail I gather that Thomas doesn't think himself to live for that long, even if he doesn't outright say it. It's in his actions, the things he does, etc. The whole theme of this series is Thomas cheating death, from the beginning when Walter tells him to get up to the end.
But his will, which is lowkey kinda extra, sums up how the character just navigates thinking of things for everyone, thinking up a path and care for everyone and he's okay not being there with them.
Lastly, this is gut-wrenching because after he is executed for treason I think like...all of this falls through T-T
That's another thing - all of this, everything he's done, everything he's done for others, everything he plans to do for others, the life he's made for himself, the life he's cultivated by cheating death amounts to, in a way, absolutely nothing in the end. We see all of this but it means absolutely nothing and that's what hurts the most.

Okay, I just smoked a joint and pictured Adrian as the suitor on Unreal instead of Adam.
YES, YES A THOUSAND TIMES YES!!!!!
This reminds me of the convo I had with @powerfultenderness on a FMK post about a crossover episode of Unreal and Peacemaker, which we need to collaborate on and write it (someday🤣😍)
Firstly, I haven’t seen Unreal but the gifs/pics I’ve seen of Adam makes me think I’ve seen what I need to see…him!
Secondly Adrian is all decked up in his suit cos he has to go undercover on the show (surprise twist!?) two bachelors, and the 11th street kids have intel on him being a butterfly so here they are behind the scenes of the show trying to catch the annoying bug..or bird if your Adrian.
Ugh now I’m stuck imaging Adrian in a nice fitted suit, wearing a teal tie of course undone a little his cute glasses and messy curly hair…😍🤣🤪🤤
Adrian is also super pissed at Adam who Chris thinks looks like him “eww no!” because he is flirting with reader who is his ex and did NOT want to be here (because obviously she likes Adrian duh!)
Shenanigans all round🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’m off to bed now with thoughts of Adrian in a suit that isn’t the Vig one lol I hope the post makes sense we need to brainstorm this idea people!!!!

25 CROMWELL STREET, Gloucester, England
Fred and Rose West ‘House of Horrors’
Fred and Rose West tortured, raped and killed young women (including their daughters), many of their victims were buried at their home. Investigators found nine of the victims at the address. The house was purchased by the West’s during the 1970s, it was the couples second home after they moved from Cheltenham. The couple lived there for 20 years.
The house was torn down in 1996, and today it is a walk way.

#to kill a king (2003)#this film is sooo. like its so incredibly infuriating on so many levels#i feel like a large part of the reason i like it is that we have so few films about this period </3#filmmakers are so scared to actually tackle the period head on without resorting to the supernatural or witchcraft etc etc#so im grateful for that much. but MAN#i dont think a single thing in this film (apart from MAYBE some of the dialogue during the trial) is historically accurate#why is cromwell shooting civilians in the street. why are there half a dozen corpses randomly strung up outside st james palace#what the heck is going on w the cromwell family like genuinely#the depictions of religion in this film are also so banal#the whole section w poor anne is just loss.jpg im not joking#can someone explain cromwell's haircut to me too im still wrapping my head around that one#the entire trial was also hysterical#and charles' death scene was so silly!! where is the gravitas!#and the assassination attempt is actually so funny. pls. what is happening#just absolute chaos from start to finish. i hate it. 9/10
