Made myself a little one-man picnic rug for the upcoming festival! It’s not waterproof or anything so I’ll only be able to use it if it’s dry, but the moss stitch means it’s pretty thick and durable!

Pattern: A simple moss-stitch flat square (I used Blossom Crochet’s tutorial), with the additions like the strap and clasps improvised

Yarn: Main body is James C Brett Marble Chunky - MC32, the rest is a hodge-podge of various navy blues! Gotta love stash-busting, hehe

Just finished a rug!! It was super fun😸

If you want to make it you can find the pattern here. It’s not mine, I just used it.

I used a 9 mm hook and used two rolls of weight 4 yarn at once. It was a fun experience!
