Happy Dinos for my wonderful friend for Christmas !!

Pattern: Bronto the Dinosaur by KnotTooShabbyCrochet on Etsy. The scarves are just teeny DK chains hehe.

Yarn: Loop Sprig in two unique colourways (the same as I used on these socks!) held double.

my crochet brontosaurus i made and named pepto (like pepto bismol)

the yarn i used was from Sweet Snuggles Doux Câlins - Coral

i used a 10.00mm (N/15) crochet hook

went to an art walk thing and got a lil crochet brontosaurus in sort-of lesbian flag colors.

the artist said she’s been trying to get it to sell for a year n a half, so it’s fitting that it finally gets sold to a lesbian lol

The next part of Maybe Summer Doesn’t Have To End should be finished tomorrow 🤞🏼 I’ve been busy crocheting more dinos in prep for a craft fair we now have booked for October.

Unfortunately writing now takes a back seat as we work 3 streams of income for the business (eBay, Facebook and my crochet) at least I’m not working 37.5 hours for a company on top!

On the plus side I now have

4 small T-Rexs

1 giant T-Rex (made a while ago)

2 triceratops (one made a while ago)

1 brontosaurus (made a while ago)

This little cutie is Fern! I found some new, 90 yard skeins of thinner velvet yarn at Dollar Tree earlier in the month. Because I felt confident with the chunky yarn after completing Pete, I went wild and bought all the colors they had. As a result, I made Fern 😊 She's much smaller than I imagined, although she did take up an entire skein. (Literally every last inch of that skein went to Fern. I played a bit of yarn chicken and was convinced I had lost until the very last second.)

Additional cute note: she has eyelashes. When I was clipping the thread that secured her eyes, one eye had the perfect little eyelashes. Instead of cleaning up the thread, I left it and clipped the other side to match lol.
