more pet peeves, this time not related to writing: when someone is annoyed by a noise, but their efforts to make the noise stop or drown out the noise are infinitely more annoying

there's a mouse in the ceiling downstairs and it's very loud. it's a little annoying. my mom's continuous fucking bitching, occasional shouting, and hitting the ceiling with a broom handle is considerably more annoying

You ever get mad and draw an angry Phil to compensate?- I think it’s good not to forget how dangerous Phil is. Standing next to Techno, it’s easy for the man to appear like the more passive between them, given Techno’s reputation. But it stands not to be forgotten that Immortals don’t survive for as long as they do on good will alone. 

Or, in short, Techno will tell you before he kills you. Phil will just kill you.

(for the purposes of this poll, there is no monkey's paw situation: the chore you pick stays the same level of difficulty/grossness/etc. as it normally is for you, and you only have to do it as often as you want to. the chores you don't pick are magically done for you exactly the way you'd want them to be, just with zero effort on your part.)
