Don't ask me how but- AND HEAR ME OUT-

What if when Michael and Adam are finally reunited, like when they both come back and see each other for the first time Adam just... stops for a second, and just looks at Michael, staring blank at his true form.

Michael is over-fucking-joyed to have Adam back and have God gone and everything, and there's this general idea that Adam would just be himself and make a stupid little joke or something.

So Michael waits before making a move towards Adam, waits for Adam to say something, anything to make the situation feel real.

And nothing happens.

Michael takes a few steps towards Adam and quietly whispers "Adam...." the word feeling strange when said softly after he'd been screaming it in the empty.

and then Adam just, breaks.

He latches onto Michael and wraps his arms around his shoulders as his knees give out and he falls into Michael's embrace, all the while sobbing and screaming his soul out.

Michael snaps into it immediately because he feels Adam. Feels his soul in pieces as his grace try's to repair everything and stop the hurt pouring from Adam.

How Adam found out about Vaggie being born the the human CWF AU:

He actually found out from Lilith. Adam had been texting Lute to see if they were still on for some plans she had after her meeting with Sera and the Morningstars...as well as questioning why the meeting was taking so long since she wasn't answering. But the truth was that Lute had accidentally left her phone behind when she was taken to the hospital with newborn Vaggie.

And Lilith, knowing Adam was the father despite Lute always claiming that there was no father in any way that actually matter, decided to call him. Both to try and prevent him from freaking out when Lute wasn't answering his texts for so long, and just because she felt like he should know his daughter was actually born.

As you can probably guess, Adam had quite the reaction to his ex-girlfriend calling him....and even more of a reaction to said ex telling him that Lute was in the hospital, because she'd actually already had the baby.
