👇 me trying to get more comfortable drawing cobalt's stiff ass and struggling, and thinking about What If The Cpuk Kids Grew Up. or. in nera's case. grew up Somewhat Normal rather than Becoming Cosmic Love, who has to be an adult but is also seemingly kinda. somewhat time displaced due to being the emissary of the void and thus not technically existing fully in the same way other people do-? its complicated and the point is this is What If It Wasnt lmao

Man, the NCCTs really were such a unique experience huh? (Read more!!)
JUNIPER UPPERCUT, THE MOST POWERFUL 8 TO 9 YEAR OLD EVER. I imagine Val was just so Blindsighted by that three-stock he just kinda Sat there all sportsman-like and just went along with it the way you do with kids who you know mean well but it still feels so strange

Top 10 Crimtoinette Moments its 100% canon really trust me
But I found that moment so Interesting for both their characters, it really non-canonically added a new depth to their relationship that I think would be interesting to explore further (if it did continue)

"Jack please help me."
When the sword hits, it hits hard. Shadow is sent flying from the tiny platforms, hitting the faux lava with a pathetic slap. It'd been a close battle, closer than any of Shadow's before. Not that it mattered, really, as it ended just the same.
Words are shared. They, as per usual, are not his own. However, just this once, they are about him.
"Its clear that me and Shadow are...incompatible. :)"
"So how 'bout this? I let him go... :)"
What?
"And...the two of us test our compatibility. :)"
Jack hesitates. His one red eye is flashing fast, indicating that the Discord was speaking to him. Whatever they were saying, Shadow was the only one who couldn't hear.
"Nelson...do you trust me?"
And that's the last thing he hears. Like an atom bomb, Prism exploded out of his skin, shedding that sickly purple hue as she take control of the swordsman. Shadow fell to his knees, his own, red knees.
"...Wh...What did you do?"
His first words. For Gods know how long, he hadn't been able to speak, not of his own volition. And yet, despite the freedom, all he could feel was that same damned regret.
"Jack, what the hell did you do?" The Red Shadow called out. "Why... Why would you...?"
Prism hasn't taken him, not yet, not fully. Hes crouched on the ground, clutching his chest with a pained expression. And yet, he smiled.
"...You're free. Please, take that freedom...that's all that they wished for."
Tears. Are the Jack's? Shadow's? Both, neither? Shadow's hands are shaking, and despite it all, he can't stop them. Once again, he can't control himself.
"You... You're an idiot. She'll destroy you. It's a fate worse than death."
"Just...trust me, okay? It'll all... It'll all be just fine, Shadow. :)"
Dammit. Once again, in a body that isn't yet his, Shadow runs. Where, he does not know. He just has to run.
"Hey, don't got yet! You're up next! :)"
Prism pushed the dream world forward, catching up to Shadow and making him run in place. At the same moment, Cosmic Love is pulled in, hovering just in front of him.
"C-Cosmic, you-!"
She frowns.
"...Allow yourself this pleasure. So many have fought for it."
And, for the first time, Shadow stops, breathes, listens. That note...the message they'd left for him. This is what the meant, then. This was what they'd all given him. What Cosmic has given him. What Jack had given him.
"...I feel so different."
The tears are back. He knows who's they are now.
"Thank you, thank you so much Jack..."
He chooses to cry. Prism can wait that long, can't she? He can cry, without her pulling him forward and forcing him to fight.
"If you can hear me...thank you..."
"...He can."

What is Cpuk? I've looked through the tags but I cannot freaking figure out what it is and I'm curious
CPU Kerfuffle is a series of Smash Bros Ultimate LVL 9 CPU Tournaments run by Ryan Chongoshow, also known as @chongoblog around these parts. It features a cast of improvised characters experiencing improvised stories based on how they do in said tournaments, which all gets increasingly intricate as all the funny little jokes snowball into serious soap opera/shonen anime drama.
It hasn't actually been running for a while, having stopped on a cliffhanger as a result of Ryan focusing more on his mental health for a while, though there is also a dubiously canonical set of tournaments run in a text-based format over Discord, appropriately titled the Non-Canonical Curiosity Tournaments, or NCCT for short. As mentioned, their canonical status is dubious, but they serve as a good continuation IMO and until/unless more Actual Canon material arises to override it I very much recommend checking them out after CPUK proper!
For those interested, the main CPUK series can be watched in this playlist (tho it's missing a few episodes near the end, STILL, AFTER ALL THIS TIME, EDIT: It's fixed now :) I no longer have any complaints.) and the NCCTs can be read in an archived format here!

and TODAY in crossover AUs only about 5 people will understand: hey what if CPUK characters got put in a Caligula Effect game
I'm planning to draw more stuff for the AU in the future but I had to post something or else I would explode, so here's Jack (acting as club president), Sprout/Hoedown, J0hn, and Therapuppy/Folk, along with a glimpse of Iggy and Nelson :] I'll put a bit more info about the AU under the cut-
The AU is mainly based on the premise and trajectory of the NCCTs- Prism puts everyone in a dreamscape together and they have to stop her. I was having trouble deciding who would be the character to guide everyone, so I've split the role between Iggy and Nelson, as seen here. The rest of the Go-Home club (according to my CURRENT PLAN at least) is made up of Squid Jenny, Twist, Google, Larry, Dantoinette, and a secret surprise character >:3 As for the musicians... they would probably include Doctor Order, Peppermint, CM2K (as Mach 2, I know I said I was basing this on the NCCTs but the timeline's a bit wacky), Prismatic Shadow, and some others. :]

Missed a day but it's fine. Looking back at dates and realizing I drew all of these within a like 15 day time period is incredible in terms of my usual output (Read More!!)
A Cornthony redraw of a Lumity Moment from The Owl House. I think it's good that Danthony has a giant corn gf. Really one of the Relationships of all time (said as if basically all cpuk's relationships aren't incredible)
Follow-up to the "Cover Them Up" drawing, it's a personal headcannon/inspiration of mine that if Val were to be real he would look like @/majorpectoralis on tiktok, at least in terms of body type. And, apologies for being crass, but I think he can also do the thing where he makes each tit flex individually
More of the Law Trio, again, I just adore their dynamic
BARRY AND SUSANNNNN talk about being the relationship ever. Esp after getting to hear more from Barry in the nccts, they really are the sweetest together (ignoring how they specifically might've been one of the only Versions of themselves that made it work, if we go off of the example universes we were given). Barry the Extremely Regular Man and his wife who dragged him to another dimension to research and participate in bloodsports.
HACKSHIFTER MY BELOVED this really is the day for Relationships huh. This was done because I liked the idea of Larry just Flopping onto J0hn like a weighted blanket. Boyfriend who can shapeshift to fit into any space he wants and boyfriend who loves the compression of having another person on him <3
I had a funny vision of Juni driving one of those mini motorized cars around and just had to make it a reality
And finally Jerry, the totally real clone of Larry, who I forgot how he was originally conceptualized. I think it might've been something from Ryan's brain directly... But anyways. Such a silly concept. Can fit into any Larry Pit discussion you want
