Hey Nonny. Tinnitus is ringing/buzzing in the ears. It doesn’t have to have an external cause, it can just happen, especially as we get older but it can also be triggered by something like an explosion or any other sudden loud sound (as well as other things). We’ve actually heard then sound I’m talking about on CPD before, in 6x07. After the title scene as Hailey and Jay are getting back up there’s a faint ringing sound over the muffled background noise, that’s tinnitus. 

IF ANYONE NEEDS ME I’LL BE CRYING OVER THESE TWO PAIRS OF IDIOTS IN LOVE HAVING THE AUDACITY TO BE THISCLOSE TO HOLDING HANDS 👫

Okay the first full episode of Chicago PD I ever watched was 6x07 (and I’ve actually seen it twice because my parents watched it at different times.) And I swear to you, I honest to God thought Upstead were dating based on their relationship in that episode. When I found out they weren’t, I was shocked. So when I actually started watching PD, I suffered during Linstead (since I was already an Upstead shipper but also I honestly hated Erin for other reasons.) And now it’s killing me watching all of the One Chicago shows in chronological order bc I honestly just want to get to the most recent PD episodes because Tumblr tags are KILLING ME with spoilers that I may be intentionally searching out oops. I’m in season 5 right now. It’s going so slow watching three shows at once. SOS.
