Oc handing Thorin a pocket sized journal on the Journey filled with affection coupons the day they admit their feelings about him to help break the awkward air between them and his happy but panicking/plotting self.

He flips through reading one hour hand holding, one hour of cuddling, back rub, foot rub, bear hug and others for when they get to a city like making treats for one another.

Thorin flips through it asking, “What is this?”

“A couple coupon book.” He looks up at them from the book, “When you want one you tear out the coupon and give it to me and I’ll give you what it says.”

Immediately he tries to hand the book back and oc asks in a trying to keep calm tone, “You don’t like it?”

“I want all of it.” He replied more curt than he intended and oc can’t help but chuckle.

“Not all at once,” they giggle back, “I’m one person.”

“Hmm,” he says and looks down proceeding to spend the next four hours debating which one he wants to cash in first.

random weird observation, but how did JoAnn become, like, the darling of yarntok/crafty influencer tok. Like, Michaels who. It's all about getting your craft supplies at JoAnn. is it because everyone "wants" to be a sewist, and even if you don't sew, if you get your craft supplies from JoAnn, you sort of have that. added proximity..

#actually thinking on it more it might have to do with pricing #Michaels and JoAnn used to be on par but now I think you get better prices at JoAnn #for most things - there's still like a couple things where Michaels maybe has better pricing #and also coupons. like. since Michaels did away with their 40% off coupon I feel like things have just sucked a bit more #even tho arguably if you get like 20% off everything it maybe makes more sense if you're getting more things per trip #but like.. I dunno. like if you're buying a million things of moss. why get it at JoAnn and not Michaels

its funny because when i went to get my free meal the people behind the counter messed up and funded me points because they couldn't remove my order when they accidentally added something so they had to like do something and didnt charge my card and restart the order but whatever they did funded my account enough points to get a free side

#admittedly ive only joined 3 before #but fursona pins is the only one that ive never seen get months and month behind #really annoyed rn bc i just checked billing history and one ive been charged for 7 months and only received one month of rewards #allegedly one more shipped but i never got it snd creator ghosted me when i said so #even if it did. thats $125 in pledges they havent sent shit for #and they havent even been v communicative about the delays or anything either #theyve at least paused billing for the past couple months but uh. i think its still p dishonest to not refund #or at least offer store credit for those previous months they didnt even have pins planned #hell id be happy to take store credit for not even all just most of that accrued total #that doesnt even include shipping fees or take patron store coupon codes #just wanna feel like i havent been completely ripped off yknow?
