I might have said it before, I don't remember, but while Return of the King the movie has its flaws (more so than the other two imo) no other film has ever come close to making me feel the pure relief and elation of the last half hour. I can't even put it into words. No other happy ending feels that earned, no other journey feels as long and as complete as this one. People can joke about the 5 successive ending scenes but I'd gladly sit through 10 more of those because it feels like coming home and home is heaven.

sleeping with a shirtless aki, feeling the warmth radiating from his chest through the thin fabric of your shirt as he presses himself closely against you. if your shirt rides up slightly you can feel it. warm flesh. beating heart. he touches you and it feels like he’s kissing you.
biting my fist so hard while reading this
there's something about that sort of skin to skin contact with aki that's just... so special. aki just wants to feel you, just needs to hold you as close as possible. he does so unconsciously, when he's half asleep. he'll bury his face in your shoulder, wrap his arms around you and snake them up your shirt so he can feel your bare skin, your warmth. he's so soft, so tender, he doesn't even need to say a word to you and you can feel how much he needs you, how much he loves you from his touch alone.
you'll fall asleep to the quiet sound of aki's breathing and the rhythmic beat of his heart against your back. and you'll wake with him still holding you tight, mumbling in your ear for you to go back to sleep, so he can hold you for a while longer.

The Botanical Bestiary is a project I had the honor of being the artist for. It's a bunch of leshy miscreants who will try to destroy you, or possibly be adopted into your party as family. It's a bit of a toss up
The Botanical Bestiary is for Pathfinder 2e and D&D 5e. It contains:
65 leshy monsters
10 leshy heritages You can find it on DriveThruRPG here
