tldr: supposedly unauthorized translation and publication of some aot works from tumblr onto another platform

(sorta continuation of this post)

a certain user on ficbook.net (a russian analog of ao3/wattpad) has been translating the works from tumblr and posting them on their profile. the thing is, they do credit the tumblr writers as authors of the original text and leave the links to the tumblr posts but there's almost no doubt in my mind that they're doing this without the permission of the original creators. because one of my works was also translated and posted like this, all without reaching out to me beforehand. and because some of the creators they've translated from have explicitly stated that they do not allow the reposting of their works in any way, shape or form

because you have the right to know as the creators, below i'm including a list of the blogs whose works have been translated supposedly without the creator's permission (i'll also try to include the name of the works that have been translated in the brackets)

(i've no idea what username they have on tumblr - but - if you're on this list but have given your permission to translate your work (or these works specifically) to someone in the past and/or are generally cool with the situation then feel free to ignore)

i'm not sure if i should disclose their username on ficbook.net because, again, my accusations may be groundless and i might put an innocent user between two hard places with my action, so until the situation gets cleared up, im not willing to expose them

what can be done? if my suspicions are proven right and this person is indeed operating without the ops' permission, then reporting would be the most effective choice, considering that ficbook.net has a very strict policy regarding translations but you have to be a registered user there to file a report which i doubt many of you are or would be willing to do (not to mention navigating the site in the whole other language). i've already reported their profile and who knows, maybe this single report could achieve something

one thing i know for sure, is that this person hangs out on tumblr often and will for sure see this post, maybe it will give them some wake-up call about not asking the permission to translate and repost the intellectual property of other's - at least when it comes to my works cuz the case with the other users are unconfirmed as of yet

It takes months before you admit that you’re dating him— before you even dare to utter the dreaded word “boyfriend.” Two months of flirting and avoiding the fact that, yeah, you do actually like him. Two additional months of sleeping together and going out to dinner. Then another two months of introducing more domestic aspects of your relationship. And then some more time because both of you are little more than timid to admit that things are getting serious.

But he’s sleeping at your place more often than he’s not. And you’ve got a toothbrush, several changes of clothes, an absurd amount of lingerie, all your favorite snacks, and nice fuzzy pair of slippers at his house. And he’s clingy at night and no longer leaves once you’ve fallen asleep, he doesn’t care if you sleep past noon, he just doesn’t care to leave. And you’re making a habit to read him, you’ve gotten good at knowing what he needs in the moment before he’s had to ask— a kiss on his nose, a shoulder rub, your fingers running through his hair, a comfy change of clothes, a drink. And his filter (or whatever was left of it) is completely gone, because now he’s whispering praises in your ear when he fucks you instead of the usual filth.

So yeah, it takes a lot of time and whole a lot of self-reflection before the two of you are ready to be open about your feelings. You’re dating. An item. Exclusively together. A couple. Long-term fuck buddies that love each other very much in a romantic way. Whatever the fuck you want to call it. Neither of you really care about the label, you only care about each other. And luckily, things only get better once you both feel a little more secure with your relationship.

He has a million nicknames for you. Most of them are foul or strange, but they all come from the softest, most warmest place in his heart. Sweet cheeks, sugar tits, champ, babe, honeybunny, dearest, honey— he’s definitely just trying to get himself to laugh or to make you roll your eyes, but that doesn’t really mean that you’re not the sweetest part of his life when he calls you “honey” or that you don’t have a really nice ass when he calls you “sweet cheeks.”

Fair warning: he’s a gamer. It’s probably his most prominent hobby. He begs you to play with him, but he kinda turns into an over-competitive ass so you’ve learned to decline. Now he plays when you’re asleep, either turning the monitor brightness down and holding you in his lap while he games or moving to the living room as you sleep in the bedroom. If you ever wake up and he’s not beside you, you’ll for sure find him the living room with a headset and a controller in hand.

Now, if he’s ever neglecting you and spending a little too much time online with him gaming friends, there is two sure ways to distract him.

Max’s eyes have been glued to that godforsaken screen for hours. And it’s driving you fucking insane. He has his big, dorky headset on and he’s been talking to his nerdy online friends in some dialect you can’t understand for the life of you. You’ve tried getting his attention— pricking your finger ‘accidentally’, wearing those yoga pants he loves, and leaving the bathroom door wide open during your shower. And now that all of your usual tactics have failed, it’s time to bring out the big guns.

“You need something, honey?” His eyes quickly flit in your direction before returning to the illuminated screen that you stand beside. His fingers don’t miss a beat with their rapid assault on the controller, and once again, it’s like you’re not even there.

You take a calculated step towards him, fingers twiddling with the ties of the satin robe draped around your figure. And with one tug, the robe drops… and so does Max’s jaw.

His game now nonexistent in his mind, he wears a dumbstruck expression— lips parted with an excited gasp, widened eyes glistening with mirth. With an almost dazed fashion, he pulls the goofy headset off his head and carelessly tosses his controller to the side.

His gaze is glued to your bare form, and you can practically watch his body buzz with excitement. He makes a grabby hand towards you when you stalk closer, his shocked expression morphing into a much more composed smug smirk.

He’s pulling you into his lap as soon as you are within his reach. He’s smiles to himself, tilting his head down so that he can press a gentle kiss to your collar. “Something you need from me, baby?”

You pout your bottom lip out and nod sheepishly. “Just want your attention,” you admit softly, hands sliding up his chest to loop around his neck.

His hungry gaze studies your divine lips before meeting your stare. “Well you’ve sure got it now.”

The second most affective way to get his attention? Literally just go down on him mid-game. It’s a last resort, when all else fails, give Max Phillips what he plans to spend the rest of eternity dreaming about— a really fucking good blowjob. He will probably try to resume his game despite your lips wrapping around his cock, but he’ll eventually end up forgetting that he’s still got his game and mic on.

He’s a huge tease, in more ways than one. Firstly, he’s an asshole that loves to tease you over everything you do. He loves calling you a nerd. He likes to watch you huff and rolls eyes, denying it even though you squeal every single fucking time the Marvel intro plays, and Max could’ve sworn he heard your heart exploding in your chest when The Book of Boba Fett trailer got released (nerd). Don’t get me wrong, he fully encourages you, despite his teasing. Every birthday and holiday, he spoils you with gifts that pertain to all your nerdy interests. Hell, if he even sees something that slightly relates to something he thinks you like, he buys it for you.

He’s also a huge tease in bed. He likes to watch your human body struggle to keep up with his. He likes to learn what makes you tick and use it to his advantage. He likes to hear you beg for release, beg for him to give you the pleasure you know he’s capable of giving you. He loves to listen to you cry out his name in broken syllables as he fucks you nice and deep.

Another thing to be aware of: he’s a biter. Not in the “oh my god, there’s blood everywhere!” type of way— not with you, at least. More in the “did you just fucking bite me??” sort of way. Speaking of work…

Despite the fact that he loves to support your ambitions and he really likes your drive— he does sorta maybe have a housewife kink. Like, the idea of having you sitting around your shared house all day, waiting for him to return from work… that really gets him riled up. He can’t even express with words how horny he gets from the idea of your depending on and needing him. He likes to feel desired by you. He likes to feel like he’s just important to you as you are to him. Now it was kind of a shock when you figured it out— that Max Phillips is the jealous type. You thought that promising Max that you want to be his forever would be enough to kill any jealous streak. But believing that was your mistake. It’s almost like it’s some primal vampire instinct— his constant need to show the world that you belong to each other. The constant need to protect you. In the beginning, it was, admittedly, a little overwhelming. But with some serious chats and time, he’s able to ease up on his possessiveness.

Max likes to joke that he has “pussy eating king” listed as one of his special talents on his resume. Which — you hope, at least — is a fucking lie. But… it wouldn’t necessarily not be accurate.

He has a HUGE thing for face sitting. Your not exactly sure how he’s managed to sweet talk you into sitting on his handsome face whenever he deems it appropriate, but he does. He’s just so fucking talented at it and you will never complain about his eagerness to go down on you.

Now — not to be too vulgar here — but if you’re on your period? Yeah, good luck. Sends this poor vampire into a fucking heat. He will use every excuse in the book for you to sit on his face. He claims it kills two birds with one stone.

“And these two birds being…?” He’s hungry and horny, and grumpy if you tease him too much. So for fuck’s sake, just sit on his face.

Loves— LOVES to watch your tits bounce when you ride him. He’s obsessed and unashamed. The bastard will suck, bite, and bruise your chest all while you ease yourself up and down on his cock.

I’ve never done a celebration post on this blog and this is my chance to recognize a list of authors who are very fab and cool. I want to celebrate YOU. Your creativity deserves to be celebrated. *inserts cupcakes and confetti!!!*

Thank you for being here and for being brave enough to share these pieces of yourselves with us, for creating these kick ass worlds and characters that we can escape into and take comfort in. This year was a little easier a whole lot more fun because of you. I’m so thankful for all the intelligent, heartfelt, passionate, and goofy shit you guys contribute to my life.
