And when he was outbid, Ryan went ‘ugh, fucking Connie’ - because this keeps happening. Connie M keeps outbidding Ryan; either for this lamp in particular or any and all genie lamps on bidbitch.

You know how last season the poster gave us the ending with the ‘he’s history’ tagline, but we just didn’t know it?

This is our endgame hiding in plain sight. Connie M - whoever they are - is our last episode subject for the season. And they really, really want a genie.

Synopsis : Connie never imagined himself to fall in love with you

Connie never imagined himself with you. Or with anyone, for that matter. Sure, when talking about the future, he pictured a wife with a blurred face, but he never expected "her" to be a man, you. Someone he has known for years now.

He was not the type to imagine himself with a partner like Jean pictured himself married to Mikasa. He envied him a bit. Mostly pitied him but sometimes not. Even though Mikasa only had eyes for Eren, at least Jean had someone he loved and wanted, a goal or an ideal partner. Connie had no idea for an ideal partner. Someone who can joke and laugh with him and is friends with Sasha. Someone better than Jean, also. That was all he could want from an ideal partner.

His feelings were always there, they had blossomed quite fast and early, but he never noticed them. For him, the two of you were just a good bromance. He swore by that. Better than Jean and Marco or Reiner and Berthold. The real deal.

Many times he almost realized them, "If I had to pick a man for the rest of my life it would be you" he thought one day but once again missed how much he meant those words. It was not the first time this happened and you were no stranger to those kinds of compliments coming from him.

They made your heart flutter and feel lighter as you just laughed at him. But you said nothing, hoping one day he would realize. You wanted nothing more than to confess, but what was the point other than to get rejected by a clueless man.

At Sasha's death, Connie shut down those feelings. Afraid someone would replace her. Afraid he would forget her.

He had to fall in love with you a second time to realize his feelings. And this time, there was no bromance.
