It is the heaviest eel in the world at a maximum weight of 110 kilograms (243 lbs). These nocturnal predators occasionally like to hide in the same holes with moray eels.

Lemon and Lime Conger

This beautiful Lemon and Lime Conger makes an elegant dinner for two, ideal for a date night. Even more so as it only takes a few ingredients, not many more minutes and no effort to prepare it! Happy Saturday!

Ingredients (serves 2):

2 tablespoons Lemon and Lime Butter

1/2 tablespoon olive oil

355 grams:12.5 ounces conger eel, cut into two thick steaks

1/2 lemon

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt Lemon and Lime Butter with olive oil.

Once butter is just foaming, add conger steaks to the pan. Cut a thick slice in the lemon halve, and add to the skillet, too. Cook, about 3 to 4 minutes on each side, constantly drizzling with the melted Lemon and Lime Butter and oil, until cooked and nicely golden.

Carefully halve burnt lemon slice.

Serve Lemon and Lime Conger hot, with Chervil Hollandaise Sauce, burnt lemon slice and creamed spinach, and a glass a chilled dry white wine, like a crisp Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.

フォーチュンアクアリウム行きました。ダジャレをテーマにした水族館から、占いをテーマにしたおしゃれ水族館に転身していた。

占いには興味がないのでどういう意味でいたのかもう覚えてないんだけど(すみませんね)、ニョロニョロした魚がたくさんいるコーナーがあり、よかった。

I visited the Fortune Aquarium. It had transformed from a pun-themed aquarium to a trendy aquarium with a fortune-telling theme.

I have no interest in fortune-telling, so I don't remember the exact meaning behind it (I apologize), but there was a corner with lots of slimy fish, and it was nice.
