Because they aren't white? The white feminists who remain silent while the women of Gaza are suffering, the people who call it complicated to justify their silence.

When did you stop caring? When did you realise your privilege? When did it become so easy to ignore the oppression of Arabs? The influx of media, the portrayal of extremist perceptions of a faith so many don't understand? A woman in a hijab, a man of his faith, speaking in Arabic tongue and suspected of violence. The ignorance of the white man already labelling them a violent terrorist.

Destruction of their homeland causing them to flee, then subjected to hatred and ignorance for entering their country. The feeling of superiority as the coloniser, the power over lives. The bully looming over the silenced, revelling in their pain.

For seventy five years we have been lied to, brainwashed and deluded into believing zionists were given the land. What we were never told was that the partition plan was at the detriment of massacred and displaced Palestinians. Israeli zionists who stole the homes of the native people, stealing their culture and identity. Generations of zionists told they were promised land that was never theirs to begin with. Thousands of Palestinian voices repressed and silenced.

Occupying soldiers dehumanising women, committing violence against their bodies, stealing their screams, revelling in their pain. I've seen and heard the screams of Palestinians, begging, crying and screaming to be heard. To be protected, for their people to stop being oppressed, to stop the suffering. Their freedom stripped, their humanity demeaned and their rights being stolen.

The love of their land, their love of their faith

The love of their children, the love of their wives, the love of their fathers, their sisters, their brothers

The misery of zionists hating their joy

Praise Allah, believe in Allah

No matter how many Zionists will say Palestine is doomed, the army of those who stand with them. The love humanity has for those who have suffered the most, reminding them that solidarity is the strongest weapon against oppression. The heart of the people is loud, and we will not be silenced.

We see their pain, we have heard their screams

The amplify their rage, we resonate their frustration

We see their seeds and we nurture their plants

We became the shield to protect Palestine

motaz is completely justified in his anger against the icj's ruling. this is a man who has had to to not only firsthand see his friends and family get martyred, but also report on it to the whole world with a red target on his back--only for the ruling to never explicitly call for a permanent ceasefire. then he had to evacuate elsewhere for his safety, in effect leaving his homeland behind indefinitely. just as he stated in his live, world leaders not only don't stand with palestine, but with the preservation of humanity in general. genocide isn't something you tiptoe around just to appese israel. ceasefire now.
