turns out the course has been renamed to android basics with compose - i have to redo it. i can’t stand the empty progress bars. i decided to be a little more fun this time. or maybe i’ll just resume the old course - to hell with the deprecated content warning.

The German soprano Elisabeth Schwarzkopf (1915-2006) in Giuseppe Verdi's La Traviata at the Theater an der Wien, 1947. Her tenor war Anton Dermota (1910-1989). Although Schwarzkopf got ravishing reviews, she would stop singing Violetta when she attended a performance at the Arena di Verona in 1952. „After having witnessed perfection it doesn’t make sense to continue singing that role.“ The colleague was eight years her junior, her name was: Maria Callas.
Writing is a form of therapy, sometimes I wonder how all those who do not write, compose, or paint can mange to escape the madness, melancholia, the panic, and fear which is inherent in a human situation.
