Partly a redesign and partly I wanted to see how much I have improved in drawing this year. I am quite happy with the result
I will be doing the same with other designs in my AU that no longer convince me, like Karai and Rafael

lgbtq explanation (convo)
go away if you're not interested. i have warned you.
Him: I'm okay with the LGBTQ... it's just the far-fetched ones that I'm not okay with; all those weirdos who harm kids-
Me: *whimpers* no, no... Don't you see, these are lies from those who want to take them down? Here, let me show you...
Imagine colors. There are many, each one different, and have their own shades.
There'll be some who hate colors. They'll say only black and white are valid- anything else is a lie. They'll try to convince others colors are evil, so that they may have only B and W.
Black and white are good, but they're not the only colors to exist, understand?
Now, there'll be others who recognize there is more than black and white- they may say, "there's also grey", or, "primary colors exist". This isn't wrong, but it lacks to show how many colors there can be. It's simple, and understandable, but also lackluster.
But then, there are people who see there are more than only a few colors- there is a whole spectrum, each color having lots of shades and variations. This is complicated, but it can also be strikingly beautiful if you can understand it. Knowing and accepting others see colors we cannot is okay; because we have different ways to see the world.
Now, tell me. *Shows him what he identifies as, just didn't know the name*. Does this seem evil to you?
Him: Wait... That exists?
Me: Well, of course. It's not a game or a joke like others make it seem- it's just humans, trying to understand themselves, and naming what they discover. Isn't that how it's always been?
Him: Maybe... you should teach me a bit more about this, when we meet.
Me: There's no rush. I still don't fully understand most of this. The only thing I'm sure about is that everyone's human- and they deserve equal respect and love, regardless of what they identify as. We are none to dictate what they can and cannot be.
#Context: this is my boyfriend/partner, so he was far more open to hearing what I had to say than others may. Not all of these convos can or will go well first try, but that's okay. I hope this inspired someone! <3

Why tf do people think that someone cares about a number 1-10 given by a stranger on a street to rate other persons look.
Does anyone actually believes it's a valuable information? Like did the people really wanted to evaluate other humans and sum up their whole being with some stupid numbers based on their appearance in that single moment?
And why on earth do thousands of people watch this? I feel like someone wants us to be insecure again. What's wrong with our society?

Don't you have sometimes the feel that Carmilla from Castlevania and Demeter from Lore Olympus are a BIT ALIKE? In the "I hate men" sense
Truth be told, they do are kind of alike in that part. I can't recall much from Carmilla, truth be told, but I remember among other things, she was pretty hembrist. Demeter is on that line as well, as you say.
Also:
They live on a "men's world" and they feel like they are their enemies.
Very little good examples of trust-worthy males on their lifes, so they only ever are allowed if they are in control of how that male is on their life.
They surround themselves of female trusted ones. Though, Carmilla has some sort of sisterhood while Demeter is more like a boss on her bussiness.
They are both pretty controling and manipulating, which shows they do not allow any vulneravility to appear even to those who are supposed to be their circle of trust. Which is kind of normal when you are the leader or boss, but still you need someone who has your back.
PRIDE. Lots of it. Again, not a bad thing to be proud of their acomplishments, but they did handle it bad when they are angered and want things to go their way, which usually results on bad stuff. On this one, they apply it on different ways.
On the other hand, Demeter has done very questionable things on personal relationships, but other than that she is pretty comendable and more of a badass.
I mean, she did build a great bussiness of her own, and her work on the Mortal Realm is crucial for the life in it.
Meanwhile, Carmilla was more of a conqueror, but more in a Sauron way.

Whoever needs to hear this. Please know.
"Closed at 6pm" does not mean "The entry door locks up at 6, but if you're already inside you can keep on shopping."
It means, "you should be finished and out of the store at 6pm."
This is not up for debate
This is just how things work
