WINTER WRITING PLAN
Tumblr media
Sighing, you close the door behind you and kick your shoes off your feet. Note to self, next time just wear comfortable trainers. No one would care anyway. In a way, you were grateful to your husband for dragging you home early from the New Year's party, because you weren't sure how much longer you could have stood in those shoes.
On the other hand, you felt melancholy rising inside you as your eyes fell on the clock, which told you that it was only twenty minutes until midnight. You had been looking forward to the party for weeks, where the whole crew would meet (the five-year mission was over and the Enterprise had been in dock for repairs for two months) and the sight of familiar faces had put you in high spirits. However, Spock had taken you aside at a little after eleven and asked you to leave.
He was not too keen on large gatherings of people, even if he knew them well, and the loud music made his ears shrill. You had known that this would happen, but you had still hoped that you would at least manage to stay until midnight. Nevertheless, you did not grumble, but said goodbye to your friends and then, led by Spock, started on your way home. After all, he had only come and practically suffered for your sake and for your love, so you could not refuse to let him go if it became too much for him.
"You're disappointed." His voice made you look up. As so often, it was far from emotional and with his arms folded behind his back, he looked as if he were reporting to the captain on the Enterprise. "No, I'm not."
"But you're not happy about us leaving either." You sighed and walked over to him until you were standing in front of him. "I want to be honest with you Spock. No, I'm not happy. However, I'm not angry or disappointed either. I knew we would leave early because you are not comfortable with such festivities. However, I had hoped that we could stay there at least until midnight to celebrate the New Year with the others."
You smiled and gently felt for his hand, which he allowed. "However, I don't want you to feel guilty either." "I am Vulcan, I do not feel emotions." You just shook your head with a smile. "Of course not." You tried to turn around, however Spock continued to hold your hand. "If you had said so, we could have stayed."
"No," you shook your head. "You were uncomfortable and no celebration or party in the world is worth making you feel bad." "What a sentimental way of thinking." Smirking, you broke away from him to go to the bathroom and take off your jewellery. "Don't act like you wouldn't have done the same in my place, Spock."
"Maybe." He sounded thoughtful, lost in thought and you didn't get a longer answer, however, this was nothing new for you and you didn't think anything of it, so engrossed were you in removing the jewellery as well as make-up and the tightly fitting hairstyle. You only looked up when soft classical music flew into the bathroom. French, eighteenth century, if you were not mistaken. Confused, you drew your eyebrows together. "Spock?" No answer.
With another sigh, you set aside the rag of make-up remover you had just been about to use and left the bathroom. "Spock, what are ... you doing?" The last word almost stuck in your throat as you stepped into the living room. In no time at all, Spock had moved the furniture aside to create an open area in the middle of the room and had gathered pretty much all the candles in your flat together, lit them and spread them around the room so that they provided the only source of light.
He himself stood, still dressed in a festive black Vulcan tunic in the centre of the room, his face bathed in gold from the candlelight, his arms folded behind his back. "Spock, what...?" You were at a loss for words and Spock merely raised an eyebrow before taking elegant and lithe long strides towards you, coming to a stop in front of you. He looked down at you and regarded you for a few moments.
"I realised again tonight how much you have to give up to be married to me. I am aware that I am not always easy and that in many ways I do not conform to proper human behaviour. I am also aware of the fact that many persons around you have not spoken well of this marriage, but you have not allowed yourself to be influenced." He lowered his gaze slightly and you thought you could see a greenish glow on his cheeks.
"I have not fulfilled my duties as a husband well and no," he interrupted your protests before they could begin, " I will take no criticism in that regard. You have made many sacrifices and I have seldom appreciated them. For that I would like, humbly, to ask your forgiveness. I am also aware that it is not nearly equal to what you are doing to conform to my customs, however, I hope to make a start with this." Without hesitation, he slowly brought out his free hand, not covered in gloves, and held it out to you, his gaze now locked razor-sharp on yours.
"May I have this dance?"
For a few moments you were speechless. You had told Spock at the beginning of your relationship how much you loved dancing, but Spock had never shown any particular affection for it, so at some point you had stopped asking. However, you had always enjoyed it. Always.
It had been something private between you, almost intimate, since Spock, as you might expect, had not enjoyed indulging in such emotional things in front of other people, which was why you had danced supremely in the privacy of your quarters. That he now asked for it, willingly, and even seemed pleased, warmed your heart and almost caused you to turn into a squealing teenager.
"I would be honoured."
Carefully you took his hand and instantly you were flooded with feelings of affection and pure love that almost brought tears to your eyes. Gently, Spock led you onto the self-made dance floor and pulled you so close to him that you thought you could feel his heartbeat. Slowly Spock began to lead you, spinning you in circles and being, as in everything, elegant, smooth and just perfect.
In time, you relaxed enough to rest your head on his shoulder and sigh contentedly as his scent hit your nose and he pulled you even closer. "Thank you," you whispered after a few minutes of silent dancing and Spock just hummed softly in denial. "There is nothing to thank me for, Adun'a."
Before you could answer, bangs sounded outside and a glance at the clock confirmed your suspicions. "It's midnight," Spock spoke your thought as you broke away from him and walked over to the window on your balcony. Spock stepped behind you, "Do you want to go out?" "No," you shook your head. "Those fireworks are loud and I don't want your ears to hurt." "I already told you, it's not just you who has to forego-"
You interrupted him. "However, I would like to do something different. It's kind of a tradition, even if we're a few seconds late." "Very well." You laughed softly. "You don't even know what it's about Spock." "I trust you."
For whatever reason, these words gave you the rest. Gently you put your hands on his cheeks, pulled him down to you and pressed your lips to his. It wasn't a very long kiss, but it conveyed all the emotions you wanted to show and gave Spock enough time to pull you a little closer to him. "I think I might take a liking to that tradition," Spock reflected and you could see the amusement in his eyes and had to laugh.
"Happy New Year, Spock." "I wish you the same, Adun'a."

I was just walking out of the shower, my towel still wrapped around my body, the hair twisted into a sloppy bun on the back of my head. Spock was sitting on his desk, working down some files on his PADD. I had been teasing him the whole day to the point where he had looked like he was about to snap any moment. To my surprise he kept his demeanor pretty well and only those who knew him very well, were able to see, what was really going on inside the Commanders brain.
Knowing he was probably trying his hardest distracting himself with anything, I sneaked up behind him, putting my lips right next to his ears: “I need you.” Was all I said and he immediately tensed up. Taking a deep breath, he turned off his PADD and rolled his chair back a bit. His eyes were trained on my body, looking me up and down with a hungry look on his face.
I tried my best to not get too distracted by the things it did to me, keeping my eyes trained on his face. “Remember what I told you earlier?” I asked, waiting for him to respond.
“You have asked me a lot, today. Please elaborate further to which event you are referring.” He pressed out, his voice just as tensed as his body.
“I think you know.” Letting go of my towel, I grabbed his hands, slowly starting to play with his fingers. His reaction was instant. He let out a low moan, sinking back into his chair, half closed eyes watching my fingers play with his.
“T’hy’la…” His voice was husky and he stopped talking, when I pressed light kisses on his fingertips. Taking the last step between his legs, I put his hands on my hips, forcing him to look me in the eyes. “Do you trust me?” My question had him raise his brow. “You are my wife; it would be illogical of you to assume I do not.” His answer made me chuckle lightly. “Good thing I learned to translate your words to what they actually mean.”
Sinking to my knees I never let him out of my sight. As if on que, he spread his legs further apart, making it easier for me to kneel between them. Out of reflex, his hands went to my head, but I held them down. “No, not today. I want to take care of you.” He immediately obeyed my command, resting his hands loosely on his thighs.
I let my fingers run over his thighs, his lower stomach, making him shiver and twitch in anticipation, before I gave in. Slowly opening his belt and pulling down the zipper. When I freed his member, I pressed a soft kiss to the tip, eliciting a low moan from Spock. “Please…” He begged, but I didn’t give in. Planting soft kisses along his shaft and sweetly licking his tip, until he was panting above me.
Then I stood up, holding him down by his shoulders, when he tried to reach for me. “Relax.” I climbed onto his lap, lining up his cock with my entrance, slowly sliding down on him. Had I not been horny all day, that maneuver would have been nearly impossible. Because unlike what Spock seemed like on a day to day basis, this man was packed. And when I finally bottomed out on him, I let out a deep moan, holding onto his shoulders to gain some control back. Instantly his hands gripped my hips, rolling them along his lap, earning a high-pitched yelp from me. Fighting against the hot waves starting to rise in my body, I shook my head: “No. Give me your hand.”
Spock looked at me confused, but complied. And when I led his right hand to my lips, the realization dawned on his face.
I started with kissing his palm down to every finger, before I took his middle and ring finger in my mouth, wetting them with my saliva. Before was even able to fully take them down my throat his head rolled back, the grip of his left hand growing harder on my hip. It was working.
Sucking on his long digits, I let my tongue circle around them, like I was giving him a blowjob. I switched between his fingers. Changing the speed and depths I took them into my mouth with. And the longer I sucked on his fingers, the more agitated his breathing became until he was panting again. That’s when I decided to give him the last bit. Letting my right hand wander to his ear, I softly stroked the outer shell of it. And as soon as I touched his ear, he bucked up underneath me, forcing his cock deeper inside of me, a loud moan rolling through his chest. I let his hand go with a soft plop, reaching for the other one, repeating what I was doing.
His face was covered in a soft shade of green, the tip of his ears painted a flashy dark green. I was watching intently, how his mouth shivered, quiet Vulcan curses flowing from his lips. His whole body was tensed, his hand gripping my body tightly as if he needed to steady himself on something. “T’hy’la…” He breathed out, opening his eyes. And the look he gave me, said everything I needed to know. He was close, begging me to come.
I took his fingers down my throat as deep as I could, simultaneously clenching around his cock and stroking his ears in the most sensual way I could. That’s when it happened. With a loud moan ringing through the room, he came. I could feel his cock twitch deep inside of me when he shuddered underneath me. The feeling of hot seed shooting up my core, filling me up. It was heavenly seeing him come undone like that.
He pulled his hand out of my mouth, grabbing me and pulling me flush against his chest. His grip was hard but I liked how it made me feel even closer to him. It took him quite some time to calm his breathing to a point, where he was able to talk again. “What… Why?” Was all he was able to press out, making me smile. It didn’t happen often, for Spock to be out of words, but when it did, it was the cutest thing I could imagine.
I shrugged my shoulders. “Why not? I know how sensitive your hands and ears are and what it does to you, seeing me fidget my fingers all day, so I wanted to do you a favor. It was kind of mean of me singing that song, while literally performing finger porn right in front of you. I am actually quite surprised you made it that long without pulling me into the next room and fucking me senseless.” I smirked.
He raised an eyebrow, now almost back to his calm and collected self. “You did that on purpose?” I just laughed. “For what other reason would I be singing ‘Talking bodies’? I mean the line she sings the most is literally ‘fuck me while I taste your fingertips’. So that just got me thinking of a new way to please my husband.”
His eyes went dark, hearing what I shamelessly admitted. “You want me to fuck you, while you suck on my fingers?” I nodded, feeling the blush creep up my cheeks. He just tilted his head, obviously stuck in his thoughts. “Then why did you not let me touch you and refrained me from moving one bit? I believe this was not as pleasurable for you as it was for me, giving the fact you are a human.”
I just shrugged. “I don’t mind it.” But my words visibly made him upset. Getting up with a low growl, he pressed me against the closest wall: “Do you think I will let my wife go to bed without giving her at least one orgasm? I am not some miserable human man, who is incapable of pleasuring his woman.”
His words made me rip my eyes open, staring at him like a deer in headlights. “What are you…” I didn’t need to finish my question, because the look he gave me, mixed with the fact, I could feel his cock hardening inside of me, told me everything I needed to know. I was in for a long night…
As soon as my back hit the wall, his lips were on mine, kissing me with such force, it left me breathless. The rough fabric of his clothes rubbed against my skin, my nipples growing hard to the touch. Him still being in his clothes caused something to stir in my mind, I didn’t know existed. It was a deep longing and satisfaction for his dominance, which only took him seconds to realize. Kissing down my chin until his lips caressed my earlobe he whispered: “Tell me,” His voice was hoarse. “Tell me what you want.”
I could feel myself grow wetter at his words, relishing in the hard touch of his hand on my breast. “I…” My body betrayed me, not letting me speak, when his thumb stroked over my hard nipple. “I… I want…”
“What, rom ko-kan. Speak to me and I will oblige.” He groaned; face deeply tugged into my neck. Taking my hands out of his hair, he started to rid himself from his shirt. Now he was just in his dress pants. Pinning my hands above my head with one arm, he intertwined our fingers and as soon as he did it, his feelings crashed into my head. “Please…” I whimpered, rolling my hips as much as the position of my being pinned against the wall let me.
Spock kept on playing with my breast, looking at me with a wolfish grin, while his hips kept me pinned. “Please what, t’hy’la?” The teasing side of him breaking through. It was obvious he wanted me to beg for him and if it would have been any other day, I probably would have put up a fight, testing his patience. But not today. My whole mindset was taken over by my husband, no other thought strong enough to cross my mind. He was all I wanted and the whole day I had trouble concentrating on anything else than him. I was putty in his hands.
And when his free hand wandered from my breasts to my clit, I reared up in a sinful moan. The jolts of pleasure ripping through my body in hot shots, while he teased me mercilessly. I tightened the grip of my legs around his waist, pulling him in even deeper. Spock sighted, giving me another soft kiss on the lips. “I take that as my answer.” He groaned, his hips pulling back and snapping forward again.
“Oh God yes…” I breathed out, arching my back to be closer to him. It was all the encouragement Spock needed, releasing my hands, he grabbed my hip to guide my movements better. I wrapped my arms around his neck, trying my best not to claw at his back. “I don’t mind it.”
“What?” I was confused, far to caught up in the heat of the moment.
“I don’t mind you marking me.” He repeated, tilting his head back, to take a better look at me. I raised my eyebrows, biting down on my lips, when his cock brushed against the spongy spot deep inside of me. “But the others will see during training.” I argued, my voice shuddering with pleasure. Now he was wearing a sly smile on his face. “I hope they will.” Was all he said, before he bent down, pressing his lips onto my nipple.
“Spock… Please!” I cried out, not caring about a single thing in the world. I could feel my orgasm nearing. The hot waves that started deep in my core now growing to a big tsunami threatening to drown me at any given moment. “Go on, t’hy’la.” He encouraged me, wrapping a hand in my hair and pulling my head against his shoulder.
“Cu-Cumming!” My moan turned into a cry, as my body shuddered. Bright lights exploding behind my closed eyes.
“That’s it. Be a good girl, make a mess on my cock. You are doing so good for me.” He cooed, lips brushing over my ear while he spoke. His praise striking me deeply. But instead of slowing down like he normally did, to give me some time to regain strength and consciousness, he kept his pace. “Spock… I cant… please…”
He just shook his head. “You really think I would let you go this easy? Teasing me all day with those filthy fingers of yours. You know what it does to me, when you wear those rings. When the jingle like that with every move, sparkle in the lights of the bridge. And your earrings… I should have known better when I married you. But those piercings you have… they make me want to ravish you, just by looking at you. Do you even know what a whore you are considered on Vulcan? Eight piercings and at least 5 rings on each hand….”
I let out a soul shattering moan, clawing on his back, not caring that my long nails probably let some red scratches behind. Spock cussed at the pain, but his thrusts didn’t falter for one second. “You are the most beautiful and filthy woman roaming the universe and I am so fucking lucky to call you mine. But I will not let you get away with teasing me like that. You hear me?” He grabbed my chin, shaking my head softly.
“Yes, Commander. I am sorry. I will stop wearing so many rings and piercings.” I cried out, tears forming in my eyes from the overstimulation he forced me through. “Oh, hell you wont.” He growled. “You will wear them. Understood? I want you to look like a whore, because you are my whore and nobody else will see you like I do. But just remember if you ever try to tease me like that again, I will show no mercy. I wont wait until our shifts are over. I will bend you over the next desk I see and you can pray that nobody walks in on us, is that clear?”
“Yes Commander!” I yelped. My body shaking in pure bliss as another wave of an orgasm initiated itself deep inside of me. It wasn’t until now, that I realized, that his movements got sloppy. His breathing was rigid, sweat dripping from his forehead. A look of determination present on his face. “Fuck.” He cussed, a rare occurrence for him to do, but when he did it, it send butterflies of pure filth down my stomach.
Catching my lips in another kiss, he bit down on my lower lip, leaving it sore and slightly bruised. It wasn’t until then, that I realized with what force Spock had pressed me against the wall. I was sure that I would be sore the next morning, but I didn’t care. My mind only caring about the jolts of pleasure racing through my body. My moans were muffled by his kisses as my legs started to tremble again, fighting against his hips, muscles growing tired. “Don’t stop.” I pleaded, my grip on his shoulders growing harder.
“Never.” Was all Spock pressed out, his hands gripping my hip so hard, it was on the edge of painful. “Come for me now!” He ordered, his thrust growing rougher. Without much time for my brain to react, my body surrendered, shattering into thousands of tiny splinters. I let my head fall back against the wall, a loud and sinful moan ringing through the room. My body shaking violently, as he growled and thrusted deep inside of me for the last time.
He shivered between my legs, as his orgasm washed over him. My spasming walls milking him for the second time this night. And when his throbbing cock slowly stopped twitching, he pulled me into a deep hug. His breath fanning over my neck, while he held me in his warm embrace. I took a deep breath, trying to clear my mind far enough to speak. “I love you.” Was all I was able to mumble, my tongue still heavy from my orgasm, but Spock seemed to understand.
“Nash-veh ashaya du, t’nash-veh k’diwa.” He whispered into my ear, while slowly walking towards the bathroom. We were still wrapped up tightly into each others arms and I could feel my slick and his seed slowly trickling out of me. And when he carefully lifted me up and set me back onto my feet, my legs gave in underneath me. He was just quick enough to catch me. “Let me run you a bath, t’hy’la. You are sore and the warmth will help your muscles relax.”
For everyone wondering what on earth rode me to write this:

You are either welcome, or I am sorry for ruining this song for you 😂

"I'm sorry... This is all my fault I should've payed more attention I should have... I don't know I just wish-"
"There is nothing you could have done to change this. It is not your fault." Spock calmy states.
You begin to notice the slight shiver in his voice, and the growing green tint to his skin that's increasing along side the dropping temperature. It really concerns you. The cold must be getting to him. Gods, all of this because of a shuttle crash. The two of you were luckily this planet happened to be inhabitable. Well Inhabitable... but unpleasantly freezing. There's no telling how cold it must feel for Spock with his Vulcan heritage.
"T'hy'la are you alright?" Spock asks breaking your train of thought.
"Sorry, I just... I just feel useless. Sitting here freezing just waiting for the Enterprise to rescue us. If they even rescue us."
"The Enterprise will likely rescue us do not worry. " The unspoken question of when is avoided. There's not telling how long it will take. Hours, days, or worse... The two of you go silent.
"Are you cold? " You eventually speak up.
"I am adequate. "
"Spock, please don't lie... "
"Vulcans do not li-" you cut him off by reaching out a hand placing it against Spock's cheek. You gasp jolting your hand back.
"You are freezing cold! Why didn't you tell me?!" You panic and quickly shed your emergency blanket wrapping it around Spock.
"I did not want to tell you, I do not want to worry you. Please...keep your blanket you need it." Spock shivers out.
"Spock... please let me warm you? "
Spock paused then reluctantly nods. He uncovers himself holding his arms out for you to crawl into. Seems he already knew what you were planing. You snuggle up into him and cradle him close.
"May I touch your hands? "
"You always may. "
"Thank you... " you take his hands in yours gently holding them and rubbing them. Then you breathe warm air on them, breathing warmth into him like you always manage to do.

Logos and Pathos Valentine's Day Special 2024
TOS! Spock x Empath! Reader
Mouse Note: Happy Valentine's Day!
            “Spock, dear, you can relax,” said (Y/N), smiling at their husband (husband, husband, husband, it sounded so amazing still!). “This is our honeymoon, not a mission.”
            “I am quite at ease,” assured Spock, sitting stiffly at the breakfast table. “I am simply…unsure how I am supposed to participate in a ‘honeymoon.’ ”
            The pair had been given a bit of time off from the Enterprise. This was their honeymoon, their private celebration of their marriage. They had rented a small house on the edge of a lake to just relax and enjoy themselves for a bit of time.
            (Y/N) chuckled and touched their two fingers to Spock’s. “You know I don’t care about society’s rules or ideas. What I want is for Spock, my Spock, to enjoy himself in whatever way he’d like.”
            Spock smiled slightly. “Thank you, T’hy’la.” He was glad that (Y/N) accepted for who he was. Even now, married, it was a pleasant surprise every day to know someone so kind and good-hearted loved him.
            The pair smiled at each other, and their bond thrummed with positive emotions. Each wore their ring and had their fingers touching. Truly, every part of them was connected and strengthened by their love.
            “I don’t need you to be anyone other than you,” said (Y/N), smiling. “I don’t need you to do anything for me. You show me you care every day.”
            “I intend to for the rest of our days,” said Spock. “I am aware that I am not the most…affectionate. I am not open with my emotions. I have often been referred to as ‘cold.’ I never wish to be that to you.”
            “Spock,” said (Y/N), standing and moving to his side. “I don’t care about all of that. Some people just don’t understand people express themselves differently. I have never once doubted your care. Even before we got together, you were always looking out for your friends. You don’t speak about your emotions, but you show them.”
            Spock raised a brow, and (Y/N) laughed. Spock listened to the sound with fondness.
            “Not in that way, Spock. Don’t worry, you’re very calm and collected,” said (Y/N). They leaned back on the table and smiled at him. “I mean that you do little things. You look out for your friends. You keep situations under control so people don’t get hurt. You put yourself in harm’s way so that others don’t have to. You’re a good friend, Spock.” They gazed at him lovingly. “And you’re a wonderful husband. I’m very lucky to have you.”
            Spock reached out and took their hand. “I am the fortunate one. You are…bright. Warm. Full of heart.” He looked down and back up at their eyes. “Everyone knows it. You are good and kind. It is illogical for you to be with someone like me. And so I hope you know I intend to honor my vows to you every day. People have underestimated you and valued you for less than your worth. You are more than your empathy and beauty. You are intelligent and kind and helpful and open and accepting. You are all that is needed in this world. It is illogical for you to love me, but it is logical that I love you.”
            (Y/N) smiled warmly and squeezed his hand. “I love you, too, Spock. Even if it is illogical to you, it makes perfect sense to me.”
            “Perhaps that is enough,” said Spock.
            (Y/N) rolled their eyes, leaned in, and kissed his forehead. “Of course it’s enough. We’re married, aren’t we?”
            “I admit your logic is compelling,” said Spock, rising and kissing them.
            (Y/N) laughed and pulled him in for another kiss. “Well, I learned from the best.”
            After the kiss, Spock looked at them. “So, what will do today, T’hy’la?”
            “I said I don’t care,” said (Y/N).
            “I still would like to do something for you,” said Spock.
            “Hm.” (Y/N) considered and grinned. They stepped back and turned towards a nearby controller. “Anything?”
            Spock raised a brow. “I believe this is what human’s call a ‘trap.’ ”
            “Come on, dear, will you anything I want?” said (Y/N), smiling.
            “…I admit I will,” said Spock. “Always.”
            “Perfect,” said (Y/N), pressing a button.
            Music started and filled the room. (Y/N) began to sway their hips and grinned at Spock.
            “Come on, Spock, come and dance with me,” said (Y/N).
            “I am not a skilled dancer,” said Spock.
            (Y/N) shrugged. “This isn’t a performance.” They held out their hands. “This is a spouse and husband having fun.”
            Spock couldn’t help but reach out and take their hands. (Y/N) smiled warmly, and their marriage bond flowed around them in a comforting manner. (Y/N) led Spock in a simple sway back and forth before starting to dance around the little kitchen. Spock let himself smile, and he tentatively moved with more confidence.
            “There you go, dear,” said (Y/N). “It’s not that hard, is it?”
            “Only when my T’hy’la is with me,” said Spock.
            He braved a spin and let (Y/N) twirl before pulling them back in. Taking the moment presented, he leaned in and kissed them. (Y/N)’s arms went around his neck and pulled him closer. They separated for a moment and looked at each other.
            “I love you, Spock,” said (Y/N).
            “I love you, (Y/N),” said Spock.
            Their lips touched once more, and love flowed through their bond. They would hold each other’s hearts until the end of time.

Hiya! I saw you had matchups open and I was wondering if I could get one? I'd prefer a match from TOS, TNG, and/or DS9 if that's ok! I'm pretty short (5'1) with long blonde hair, green eyes, pale skin and freckles across my nose. I'm pretty quiet when you first meet me, as I like to figure out people before I start to open up. Once I am comfortable with someone I tend to be a mother hen (even if I forget to take care of myself). I love to bake, sew, write, and read (mostly mythology stuff). TYSM
Hello friend, welcome to the blog! Thank you a TON for your request, I am absolutely stoked to do it for you! Sorry for all the delays in getting it out to you, I have been so busy that I haven’t had much time to write this summer unfortunately. But I’m here now and I’m SO ready for this! You sound like such a great and cool person, thanks for all the little details you gave me! When I read the little bio you gave, I had two characters who came to mind from TOS and TNG, but if you would like me to add DS9 to the list then don’t hesitate to let me know--I’d be happy to add it! Nonetheless, here is your match-up that I hope you like!
FANDOM: Star Trek TOS and Star Trek TNG
GENRE: Requested match-up, romantic relationship, headcanons, and fluff!
SYNOPSIS: A Star Trek match-up for the wonderful @star-shooter-354, thank you again for your support of this blog!
TRIGGER WARNINGS: None, this is pure fluff for this amazing person! <3
For Star Trek: The Original Series, Mr. Spock immediately came to mind for me as a potential partner for you! He himself is a more reserved figure who doesn’t wear his heart on his sleeve when meeting new people, also liking to piece together whether or not they are people he wants to involve in his life on a personal level. Your quiet patience is endearing, an admirable trait that is highly valued in Vulcans and to him. Your empathy is something his human side cannot help loving as well. He wouldn’t admit it to you, but he relishes in your doting of him. I can picture the two of you sitting in the recreation room of the Enterprise with your fellow officers, Spock playing his harp and you sewing a passion project in the chair next to him. He admires your craftsmanship, stealing subtle looks your way to keep track of your progress; and encouraging you the entire time, in his own unique way.
Tumblr media
Your Star Trek: The Next Generation partner would most definitely be Captain Jean-Luc Picard, no doubts in my mind about that! Your shared love for reading would be a huge thing you both connected over when you first met. Picard automatically was drawn to you for your complex but alluring demeanour that wasn’t laid out completely for everyone to see. You were a challenge, like a puzzle to put together that would reap the fruits of your affections. Plus, there’s always the benefit of a partner who can bake goodies to go along with his tea. As an officer, you have a calm disposition that uplifts him in the face of danger and stressful circumstances, an admirable trait that makes him so grateful to have you on board. He’s always there to take care of you when you forget, pride swelling in his chest when you let him dote on you.
Tumblr media
Thank you so so so much for your request again, my friend, feel free to send in whatever you’d like at any moment but no pressure! This was so much fun to do, I enjoyed myself thoroughly! Have yourself a wonderful rest of your summer and take care of yourself please! Thank you all for your continued support for my humble little blog, I love reading your reqs and seeing you liking my content!

I just like the idea of accidentally giving spock a vulcan kiss, okay????
Tag List:

You knew that Mccoy's response of "Well be more social, then," was a result of him being busy. Not paying attention. But, you'd taken it to heart.
Being alone in your room so often had tanked your mental health. Introverted or not, part of "self care" is letting out your thoughts and feelings.
You can't help but think that self care is too complicated. Hygiene in itself is a fifty point list.
The best plan you had was to introduce yourself to someone. That in itself is difficult. There are too many options and techniques.
It was hard when it was just humans—or at least, mainly humans—back on Earth. But in the Enterprise? With even more races and cultures? Squeezed in? Together?
You enter the lift, blandly speaking out your destination. It's only when you notice the shoes next to you, shining, that you realize you have a chance to just— do this. Get it over with.
The anxiety swells in your throat, and you can't help but think it's not worth it. It'll take so much effort, and if you don't say anything, they'll never know.
"Good morning!" You chirp, before you can put to much thought in. It's much more gruff than you meant. You realize, as you swallow, that this is the first time you've spoken today.
You almost wonder if they're going to reply, but then you see a hand.
It barely takes a second to connect the dots. A handshake! Easy.
In your excitement at the ease of this venture, you bring your right hand to meet their left—and—oh.
Wrong hand. Your hands are touching. Theirs is straight, yours across it. Your ring and little finger are touching the side of their hand, your thumb tucked over their's.
You glance up at them, you don't make eye contact.
Your first two fingers presses against their last.
His last. His last two fingers.
He's male.
"Oh sorry, wrong hand!"
A Vulcan male.
He's Spock.
"Oh shit."
You jerk your hand back.
"The crude wording is not needed, Lieutenant-Commander."
"Spocckkk." You draw out through your teeth, voice high pitched.
"Yes?"
The doors open, no one is there.
"I am. Fuck, I am sorry. It wasn't— fuck, sorry."
The door closes. The lift remains still.
"I didn't mean to—" you take a breath. "It wasn't my intention to—" you pause.
His eyebrows raise, your heart beats faster.
Can he report you for harassment over this? It was just a handshake— be pretty fucked up if he could.
It would be pretty fucked up if he couldn't, too. Damn.
He probably should report you.
He won't.
"Kiss you?"
The words feel like bile in your mouth.
Or are you about to puke?
"That's not a question. I did not mean to phrase that as a question." You attempt to repair quickly. "I did not want to kiss you."
Oh that sounds plan rude!
"Or, er— you know what I mean."
You blink at him. How long have you been talking?
"Are you done, Lieutenant-Commander?"
You stay quiet, and after a few moments, you realize that it's a genuine question.
"You can— you can call me Doctor. And yes. Sorry."
He nods. "Doctor. It was a mistake. It is of no consequence, and does not alter my opinion of you."
You nod, anxiety not fading. You do, however, remember to breathe.
"Can I make it up to you?" Is your timid reply. You find that Spocks eyebrows can reach impressive heights.
"I suppose so. However, I do not see a reason that 'making it up to me' is needed."
You let out a breathy chuckle after a long moment of silence, and it does good to ease the tightness in your chest.
"Okay." You breathe. "When... do you have time?"
Spock doesn't take any time to think. "Tonight would be sufficient."
You nod. "My quarters."
He nods.
Tumblr media
"Okay, you'll probably have to add another bead, so it'll fit. Let me—" you shift closer to him, taking a look at the bracelet in his hand. "—look at it."
It's only slightly too small for him, now. He'd decided to use the small glass bead in an elaborate pattern of rust, royal blue and copper. You had used the large plastic beads, and jokingly put an S bead on the bracelet. Baby blue.
"I do not see the point in making bracelets, Doctor."
You laugh. He's been happily putting beads on a string. He'd taken around ten minutes just choosing colours.
"Only idea I could come up with, really. Part of human culture."
You lean over, shoulder bumping his. "Okay, that looks good. Can I check it?"
Spock's eyebrow twitches. "Yes. That is agreeable."
"Alrighty." You gently grab each end of his bracelet, and he sticks his hand out. You bring the bracelet up, cupping his wrist like a U.
"Huh." You huff, scooting forward. "Okay, yeah, that's good. Want me to tie it?"
You glance up, making eye contact with Spock. The green of his face makes your eyebrows crease, but his face stays impassive.
He nods.
You promptly begin tying the bracelet, tearing your gaze away from his.
Once you have it double knotted, you reach over to the table, retrieve the scissors, and grab his hand.
Once you've snipped the excess, you hide the knot under a bead.
"Doctor."
You hum. "Yes?"
When looking to Spock, you are met only by his unwavering stare and green cheeks. No words.
Your gaze travels down, your hand holding his.
"Oh fuck me."
"That does seem to be the message you are sending, Doctor."

Sure Bet - Spock
Pairing: Spock x reader (gender neutral)
Warnings: swearing
Words: 2277
A/N: Just a short idea I’ve head when reading @sachiko1309 's Spock fanfiction yesterday. Hope you don't mind me tagging you, no need to read if you dont' want to lol.
Please do not repost my work on other sites or platforms!
“What?!” your friend and Captain almost exclaimed, making most of the people in the rec room look at you. Sometimes being with Jim when he was drunk wasn’t fun. “You mean you never kissed someone?” he took another sip from his drink as if to overcome the disbelief.
“Of course I did” you defended yourself “It just only were people that I was in a relationship with” and you only were in your second relationship so there was that.
“Well, we gotta change that” he said with a conspirational glance to his friend Bones. You too glanced at the doctor but he didn’t seem as enthusiastic and said he wouldn’t want to force you to do anything. “No, no that’s not what I meant” he looked back at you “We just should make it... attractive for you”
“Meaning what?”
“Well....” he rubbed his nose “let’s say that next time you come to the bridge to deliver a report, you can kiss someone on the bridge. And if you do, I swear I will wear a female uniform with a skirt for three days”
“You mean kiss someone while on duty?” he shrugged
“Better than while being drunk, huh?” you raised your eyebrows. Not because you disagreed with the whole idea. After all, your current relationship was with Commander Spock after all who did work on the bridge.
“And what if I won’t kiss anyone?”
“Then I’d say the next drinks are on you”
“The drinks on the ship are free” you reminded him
“I meant back on a planet or so. What say you?” he finished his drink.
“I mean... just three days? Does the time you wear it depend on who I kiss or how I kiss them?”
“Okay here’s the rules. The kiss has to be on the mouth. If you kiss someone you’re friends with it’s gonna be three days. If it’s someone else or you know... making out, I’ll wear it for a week. Also you can’t kiss me. I don’t count. Or Bones if he’s there. But anyone else”
“We’re not including Spock in this are we? He’d not only find it very illogical but probably also finds a dozen rules that forbid this” Leonard asked and Jim turned to him
“Tell you what Bones, (Y/N) actually has the guts to kiss him, I wear the dress ten days” trying to hide your smile you nipped at your drink. After all he would definitely be the one you kissed. Not your fault if no one knew of your relationship and Jim was raising the stakes himself.
“You’re on” you said. “But it hasn’t to be tomorrow. In the course of the week”
“Deal”
The next day you needed to deliver a report to the bridge but to your dismay the Captain was nowhere to be seen. Well, now you had to come back another time.
“Yeoman?” you heard Spock ask from the Captain’s chair
“I have the reports, sir” you told him “I was just wondering what to do since the Captain isn’t here. Do you think it’s possible I’ll leave them for him and pick them up later? Or will you sign them?” you hoped he’d say no to the latter.
“According to the Captain he should be back shortly”
“Alright” you said, almost thrusting the PADD into his hands “I’ll come and get them back in a bit”
“Very well” Spock said and you gave a nod, stepping back into the turbolift and letting out a deep breath when it went down. Part of you wished it would already be over. It wasn’t the kiss you were nervous about but Spock’s reaction. Not because you had agreed to keep the relationship a secret, in fact you were planning to let others know soon but to just do it so sudden and kiss him so openly when you hadn’t shared that many kisses - Vulcan or human ones – before.
When you returned to the bridge an hour later Bones was there too and you weren’t sure if you were happy about it or not. Sure he would give you hell for kissing Spock but you also knew how much he would tease Jim when you did.
“Yeoman” the Captain greeted you “I bet you’re here for the reports”
“I am. But not just that” you added the second part a little quieter. He handed you the PADD and as was regulation you quickly checked the signature before giving a nod. Instead of leaving directly as you usually did, unless there was something else you had to do on a particular day, you decided to walk a short circle on the bridge so your two friends wouldn’t know who you’d kiss right away. Oh, you could feel almost all eyes on you because even those that didn’t know of the bet were wondering what you did but suddenly you found you didn’t care. Of course the only who didn’t seem to have noticed what was going on was Spock. Only when you stopped in front of him did he look up and you threw a quick last glance to Jim and Bones, the first looking a little pale and it wouldn’t have surprised you if he jumped up at that moment and retreated from the bet in that moment.
“Is there something you require from me, Yeoman?” Spock asked.
“Kind of” you said quietly and looked at him “I know this may be a bit weird and illogical and I’m sorry” you heard Bones snort but there was a huge smile on his face. Slowly you placed your hands on Spock’s arms, slowly leaning in because even if you were in a relationship you would not force him into a kiss just for a bet. He didn’t move and still stood there ramrod straight. But not because he was not okay with what you were doing, this was a different kind of stiffness. More one of confusion. You got onto your tiptoes and when he realized what you were going to do and didn’t pull back, a sign he wasn’t in the mood for a kiss you ignored his questioning ‘Yeoman’ and placed your lips on his. Of course he didn’t do much to respond but it wasn’t that he did nothing because he leant closer and his hands went to your hips.
“That’s not fair!” Jim’s yell made you break apart and your boyfriend was quick to get a professional distance to you again but there still was some fondness and confusion in his glance.
“Might I inquire the reason for this seemingly spontaneous display of affection; in public nonetheless?” he had lowered his voice, obviously not wanting the others to hear. You gave a shrug not wanting to tell him the truth right now.
“I didn’t want to make you feel uncomfortable or something but... I just wanted to. And you said you’re okay with letting others know so... well. Might not have been the best moment” he raised an eyebrow but didn’t say anything for a while
“Wait a moment” Bones said “Am I missing something there?” he pointed at the two of you and now everyone was looking even more intensely if that even was possible. But you were glad that no one said anything at least. “Are you two...?” you glanced at Spock to see if he was okay if you confirmed
“Doctor, I believe question is lacking the inquired element”
“Don’t make me say it, pointy. Are you two.... you know...?” he made a gesture with his hand
“I must admit that I am not familiar with sign language and therefore still could not understand what exactly you wish to find out” of course your boyfriend seemed the only one who was still unaware of what Bones was trying to ask and even though you felt bad for him it made you also feel better because maybe the kiss now didn’t' seem too strange anymore
“A thing okay?” the doctor spat “Dating. Courting. Seeing each other. Having an affair.”
“While I cannot fully differentiate between all of these human terms for being in a relationship you are quite correct doctor”
“You knew this” Jim shouted at you
“Why yes,” you answered “seeing that I am in the relationship it’s obvious that I know of it”
“I’m not gonna say how much you just sounded like Spock” Bones muttered making you smile. Meanwhile other bridge members were starting to congratulate you or ask question as to how and when you got together. Somehow you were glad that Spock reminded them that they still were on duty and this was something they could discuss after the shift. The Captain then made it an order that everyone got back to work
“That goes for you too, Yeoman” you only nodded and then left the bridge.
Early the following morning Bones was at your door
“What is it?” you asked, fearing there was some kind of emergency
“Nothing, I just figured you might like to come to the bridge and see to it that the Captain honors his part of the bet”
“Oh right” you smiled “give me some minutes to get ready” of course the topic you talked about on the way to the bridge was your relationship with the First Officer. Luckily the way wasn’t that long that you could only answer three questions and then were on the bridge. Jim wasn’t here yet, which was good because you needed to see the other’s reactions. Spock seemed confused what you were doing here because your shift only would start in an hour.
“Just watch and see Spock, this is gonna be good” Bones said with a smirk. After a couple of minutes that seemed like an eternity, the door to the turbolift opened and out of it stepped Jim Kirk, in a short sleeved, yellow female skirt-uniform with his coffee in his hands
“Keptain on...” Chekov started and then let out a hiccup and others too were staring at the Captain. Some tried to hide their smiles, others pretended they were focused on their screens and not looking at all and Spock of course commented it with the raise of an eyebrow.
“Good morning” Jim said nonchalantly, obviously trying to play it cool and sat down on the chair, trying to adjust the skirt making you giggle. “Is there a problem?” he asked staring daggers at the people who looked at him.
“You look lovely Jim” Bones chocked out before laughing and it broke the spell and almost the whole bridge crew did the same.
“How come?” Sulu asked nodding at his superior’s uniform.
“You can thank Spock being in a relationship for that”
“Captain, I fail to understand how my relationship correlates with your choice of clothing, especially seeing that both your demeanor and tone suggest you are neither comfortable nor pleased with it”
“Spock tell me isn’t there a Starfleet regulation against bets?” oh no he was not getting out of this and you threw a glance at Spock but luckily he was already citing the relevant articles, saying that bets per se weren’t forbidden and only gambling or making bets while on duty or cheating were not allowed as well as hosting big tournaments on a Starfleet facilities even with an official license and the like. “That’s not helping. There’s gotta be something. Like... holding back information and making me raise the stakes”
“I would believe the term is a ‘bluff’ which is permitted during gambling or making bets. It is up to the participating individual to determine the stakes as well as the decision to withdraw should uncertainty arise. Once the wages are made however, I believe it is imperative for humans that they do not withdraw”
“Tell him Spock” Bones cheered, making the Commander glance at him.
“Well, then tell me Spock isn’t it highly illogical to make a bet about a we wearing another uniform if (Y/N) kisses someone?”
“Yes Captain, I do agree. However, as I have noticed previously humans tend to take a multitude of illogical actions. In this particular case, while I do not know all the facts, I believe that it would be met with societal disapproval should you retreat. Especially seeing that you are the Captain of this ship and therefore vowed to uphold proper conduct and be a role model”
“Spock, I think that’s the first time I wholeheartedly agree with you. Couldn’t have said it better”
“Fuck it Spock. I don’t think this uniform is proper conduct or being a role model. Do tell, is there any regulation that forbids to wear a wrong uniform?”
“The Starfleet Uniform Code clearly states that each commissioned officer or cadet must wear a proper and official uniform displaying the correct colors and rank of their current position. A certain degree of personalization may be permitted under a superior officer, such as wearing cultural or personal jewelry but must be met with approval in some cases. Since there is no article that restricts certain uniform types to a specific gender or even species and you yourself have authorized such personalizations, I can assure you that your choice of uniform does not deviate from any regulation”
“In plain speech Jim, no way of arguing your way out of there” Bones ‘translated’.
“Oh, just you wait” the Captain growled “I’m so gonna get back at you for this. And at (Y/N) and Spock too. You better watch your backs” Spock threw you a glance, obviously not sure what Jim meant and you only gave a shrug, deciding this was your time to take your leave from the bridge.

Tumblr media
He continued to accompany me in silence up to my small apartment. It only had a single bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen with an adjoining living room. It was maybe 50 square meters in total. When Spock went to leave me at the door, I stopped. "Please don't go. I don't want to be alone right now."
"Of course, you do. Just a moment." He typed something into his PADD, presumably letting the others know what was going on. Then he entered and looked at my little apartment. I flopped down on my sofa and kicked off my shoes. Spock sat down next to me. He obviously had no idea what to do now. So, I reached for his arm. Looking at me, almost startled, when I put his hand on my cheek, he tried to pull it back, but I held him tight. "Don't. I want you to know. Jim doesn't understand and I need someone who does."
Spock gritted his teeth and I closed my eyes as he merged both our consciousnesses together.
Pain shot through my cheek when he hit me. I fell to the ground and tried to crawl away, blood dripping from my nose and ran down my temple.
"Your captain must think very highly of you, trading you for a worthless relic like that," Hanesh's voice dripped with satisfaction. "You're nothing but a pawn to him, and now you're mine." He pulled me up by my hair, and I could hear my scalp tearing. I screamed out as he threw me across the room. Crashing into the steel wall with full force, I felt my arm break.
Hanesh slowly stalked towards me. "It's time you do your part of the bargain." He knelt in front of me and began to undress me. I was too foggy from the pain to react quickly enough, as he pulled a knife from his belt and carved something into my chest. I screamed and squirmed in his grip, but he was just too strong. "Now you're all mine," he said as he grabbed me by the neck and pushed me against the wall behind me. I struggled and kicked at him, but it hardly seemed to impress him.
"Fuck you, you bastard. Fuck you and your people. Jim will come for me and when he does, he'll kill you." I spat in his face taking another punch to my cheek. Dazed, I went down.
"He'll probably come. But until then, we'll have a lot of fun together," Hanesh hissed in my ear as he leaned over me and pulled my legs apart. I tried to resist with all my strength, but he grabbed my broken arm and pulled. My scream echoing off the smooth walls. Distantly, I heard Hanesh laughing as he forced himself into me.
It hurt. I was unprepared and totally tense, but that didn't seem to bother him at all. It might have even played into his sadistic need for pleasure. Ruthlessly, he took what he wanted. I knew that Vulcans had an animalistic and crude way of having sex, once they stopped controlling themselves, but this was even worse. Unlike Vulcans, Hanesh gave free rein to his needs. He fucked me ruthlessly and held me down by my neck. My whole body ached and I slipped further and further into unconsciousness. My field of vision went black and the pain became less and less.
But suddenly another feeling drilled itself into my head. Abysmal hatred and anger. Stronger than I had ever felt before. Startled, I opened my eyes and flinched. In an instant, the hatred and anger disappeared from my mind.
Spock.
They were his feelings.
When he opened his eyes and looked at me, I saw it in his eyes. His face still stoic and unchanged, but his eyes said everything I needed to know. "I now understand what Jim meant when he implied you hated my race." His voice was studiously calm as he stepped away from me.
"Don't." Instinctively, I reached for his hand. Again, his feelings overwhelmed me. But this time it was anger and hatred mixed with desire. He looked at me with dark eyes as he sensed my attraction to him.
I threw everything overboard and climbed into his lap. Hard, I pressed my lips to his, but he turned his head away. "That's not a good idea, Miss Lucy." Tensely, he held me down, so I couldn't assault him again. "Please." I put my hand on his chest. "Please, Spock. I want to forget him. I don't want to feel his touch anymore."
He looked at me with narrowed eyes. "I don't think I'd be the right person for that."
I slid around on his lap, visibly affecting him. He growled deeply and his grip tightened. Sighing, he closed his eyes. "I don't know if I can be careful," his voice was harsh "I'm emotionally compromised."
"Then don't. I want to feel you. I want you to make me forget what he did," I said pleadingly, looking at him with hungry eyes. And that seemed to be enough.
Spock pressed his lips to my mouth and stood up. "Bedroom," he growled between kisses.
"Left door," I replied breathlessly. I felt him start to walk away. He kicked the door shut with his foot. Then suddenly I found myself under him, pressed into the soft mattress of my bed. I fiddled with his uniform with trembling fingers. Quickly, he gave in to my needs, taking off his jacket and shirt. His broad shoulders were a stark contrast to his otherwise slender, muscular upper body. Ears slightly turning green when he saw me looking at him. But the embarrassment was gone as soon as he took in my body.
I straightened up and undid the belt of my dress. Then I slipped it off and threw it into a corner. Spock impatiently pushed me back onto the bed. His lips now hard on mine again. When he started kissing my neck, a low moan escaped me and I curled into his arms. He grumbled against my neck and sucked the skin between his teeth. When he bit down, I cried out in surprise.
He immediately let go of me and braced himself on his hands. "I'm sorry. I let myself go." There was a brief flash of consternation in his eyes, but it passed as soon as I wrapped my legs around his waist. Looking at me with dark eyes he buried his face in my neck again. His long fingers moved to my back and I felt him effortlessly unclasp my bra and toss it aside.
Spock slowly kissed his way down to my breasts. Impatiently, I bent towards him. And when his mouth took my nipple in his mouth and gently slid his tongue over it, I moaned his name. My hands moved to his back and then into his hair. I tried not to grab too hard, but I failed as he tore my thong and his long fingers penetrated me.
"Spock..."
"Say that again."
"Spock..."
A low growl escaped his throat and vibrated against my neck.
"I didn't know Vulcans could growl," I whispered in his ear.
"You don't know a lot of things," was all he said, while looking at me. His eyes almost black, his jaw clenched tensely. At that moment, Spock's fingers hit my sweet spot. I inhaled sharply and closed my eyes. He continued to massage my insides and when he placed his thumb on my clitoris, I clawed at his back.
"Look at me!" His commanding tone elicited another moan from me. I forced myself to open my eyes. He took one of my hands from his back and intertwined his fingers with mine. As soon as the connection was made, I felt his desire next to mine. I couldn't help but stare into his eyes as his fingers continued to bring me to climax. And he knew that. He felt me twitching around his fingers, felt it through our connection, saw it in my eyes.
This moment was more intimate than anything I had ever experienced. I could feel how close I was to my orgasm. My legs trembling in anticipation. I was mesmerized by his eyes; my breathing heavy and irregular. A diabolical smile stole onto his lips and he leaned down and started kissing my neck. "Come for me," he whispered. And that was it. I slid over the precipice and fell. My orgasm came hard. "Oh God Spock." I screamed his name, clawing at him. But he didn't stop. Instead, he pulled the skin on my neck between his teeth and bit down again. I reared up as the pain mixed with my orgasm. And then the second wave hit me.
I was so focused on my feelings that I forgot he was holding my hand. His desire crashed into my head like a train and I could feel that it was taking all his strength not to take what he wanted here and now. As I slowly came back down from my high, I took his face in my hands. "Spock..." I said and looked at him. "It's okay. I want you. I want you to fuck me."
He smirked at my choice of words, but I continued to look at him urgently. "Take me. I want to feel you. All of you."
He didn't need to be told twice. Elegantly, he swung out of bed and took off his pants. I gulped when I saw his size. But I didn't have time to think about it, because what he did next threw me completely off course. He put his fingers in his mouth. His eyes were fixed on mine while his tongue removed the last remnants of me from his fingers, he moaned with pleasure. Without me being able to fully comprehend his speed, he was on top of me again, pausing for a moment.
"Contraception." he groaned.
"IUD." I breathed and he nodded with relief.
Then he was inside me. I sucked in a sharp breath as he filled me completely. It hurt, but it was an arousing pain. Slowly, he began to move inside me and I moaned. God damn did that feel good. The way he massaged me, the way his eyes scanned me... It was perfect.
"May I?" he asked, holding a hand next to my face. I knew it was one of the most intimate moments for Vulcans to share their thoughts during sex, and the fact that he wanted me to be a part of it excited me even more. I nodded and Spock merged our consciousness.
And what I felt overwhelmed me with all its power. I saw myself through his eyes. The first time he saw me in my office, how he didn't understand why I was so upset with Jim. I saw what he was thinking when I came into the living room of the youth center tonight in my dress, felt his body craving me when he saw me like that, felt how it irritated him. Then I saw myself lying under him while he took me. But I also felt him holding back, afraid of hurting me, of it being too much for me.
T'hy'la.
I looked at him, startled. The word was still echoing through my head. He immediately took his hand away from my face, but I put it back. "Don't," I said, "nemaiyo na'ish-veh gol'nev."
My Vulcan was rusty, but I could see that he understood me, that he knew I was thanking him. And there it was again, our mental bond. I sensed that he wanted more, that he wanted it the way his instincts told him to. He did his best to hide this thought from me, but I had picked up on it, letting him know through our bond that I wanted it too.
As soon as I had finished thinking, his behavior changed. It became more animalistic, wilder, harder. He took my thigh and put it over his shoulder. The angle he created, now enabling him to hit the spot exactly where his fingers had brought me to orgasm a few moments earlier.
"Spock... don't stop, please... I... fuuuuck." my voice echoed through my room as I came again. Spock's grip on my thigh tightened, his eyes scanning my body with desire. He broke our connection and began to caress my body with his hands. The harsh difference between that gesture and the way he took me was driving me crazy.
My thigh had slipped off his shoulder again by now, giving him all the freedom, he needed to kiss my upper body. I clawed at his back, hoping to get some stability, but it was hopeless.
I was an overstimulated wreck. The places where he kissed me, sucked on my skin and little bites burned like fire as soon as they touched the air and I was sure they would be visible for days to come. My muscles ached, but I didn't want to stop. I wanted everything he could give me. In a new surge of pleasure, I clawed so hard that Spock growled in protest. He skillfully removed my hands from his shoulders and fixated them above my head. This feeling of being completely at his mercy excited me even more, if that was even possible.
"T'hy'la..." Spock moaned in my ear. Only now did I realize how close he was to his own orgasm. His movements were more uncoordinated, his forehead sweaty, the tips of his ears glowing a vibrant grass green. "Nash-veh ashaya du, T'hy'la." his voice was so quiet I barely heard it. I could feel him twitching as he poured into me, but that was beside the point. Spock had just confessed that he loved me. It was the most beautiful and unsettling thing he could have said.
I knew that Vulcans were very open and direct about it once they had made that decision, but could he even know if he loved me after such a short time?
What if it was just a slip of the tongue in this situation?
For my part, I wasn't sure myself. I felt safe and protected with Spock, more so than in any other relationship I'd ever had, but I was human. My feelings came and went faster than his. It was more normal for humans to fall in love faster, or more accurately, to develop feelings.
It took Spock a few seconds to notice my uncertainty. He tried to find out what it was and when he understood, he sucked in a sharp breath and jerked away from me. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you feel insecure or put you under pressure. Expressing my feelings so thoughtlessly was illogical." There he was again, the cool, calculating Spock. Albeit naked in my bedroom.
Quickly. he grabbed his things and left the room. I jumped up in panic and almost tripped. Running after him, I grabbed hold of him just before he had completely crossed the living room. He looked at me emotionlessly and I shrank under his gaze. I was still naked and, unlike him, I was now uncomfortably aware of it. I quickly took the blanket off the sofa and threw it over my shoulders to at least cover myself up a little.
Embarrassed, I looked down at the floor, hoping he would speak first, but he didn't. In fact, he didn't do anything except stare at me. I sighed and tried to express my thoughts reasonably logical: "Spock... I... it's not normal for us humans to say things like that so quickly. I need time to process it all, to process us."
"But of course, if you want distance, I'll stay away from you," Spock began to get dressed.
"No, you misunderstand me. I mean I want to take things slowly and see what develops. But that doesn't mean I don't want to see you anymore. I feel safe with you and... and... I like you," I stammered, staring at the floor.
"T'hy'la..." Spock, half-dressed, stepped towards me and placed his hands on my shoulders. "I will give you as much time as you want. It's very logical to weigh all the facts first and then make your decision."
"A relationship is not a logical conclusion based on facts. You either love each other or you don't." I had to chuckle.
"But sometimes there are other advantages to maintaining a relationship. For example, it ensures the preservation of your own race. And if you consider this point, it would be important to choose a healthy, strong and young partner to make it easier to raise the offspring."
I looked at him speechlessly. "You can't be serious."
"But I know several Vulcans who maintain a relationship for reasons of logic."
"But I'm not a Vulcan, nor do I feel the need to have children. A relationship for me is based on love and trust." I was offended. Hearing something like that from Spock shortly after what had just happened hurt. He was quick to realize, that he had offended me and hugged me uncertainly. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean it like that. I was just trying to present different points of view." Spock held me at arm's length and I could see a small smile on his stoic face. "But since I am only half Vulcan and half human, I feel the same desire as you to build our relationship on an emotional level."
"Thank you, Spock." Was all I could say, not entirely sure if it was only an answer to his words, or to the whole evening.

Bonded - part 1
Spock x reader
Tumblr media
The day you step onto the Enterprise is the day you begin a new life, you tell yourself. A life where you make friends and keep them, where you work hard to not lose yourself in work anymore. You strive to be a better person.
But then the Lieutenant in front of you steps aside to shake the Captain’s hand and you come eye to eye with the first officer, a vulcan, male, about your age.
You’ve seen more than one Vulcan in your lifetime, even though you had hardly time to get to know any of them, but never has the sight of one of them made your brain and heart and body react in the way it does now.
Your heart jumps in your chest, your hands curl into fists and your brain manages barely more than one coherent thought. He’s gorgeous.
You do, what you’d always do when you find someone attractive.
You step away.
You’re pretty lucky with your new job.
After working your ass off on different starships and starbases, you have made yourself a name as a doctor, qualified to treat a diversity of species.
As the Enterprise is going to be the one to find places no one has before and the Captain has the tendency to get himself and everyone else into danger, they’ve had reasons to ask specifically for you.
And you do make a good team.
Grumpy McCoy takes care of the humans - complaining about them all the same - while M’Benga concentrates on the Vulcan team members. And you get all the rest. There’s one more doctor who covers the nightshift, but so far she’s only spoken french when you’re around and you’re not sure if she does not speak anything else or just didn’t want to include you into the conversation at that time.
And you’ve made friends. Well, you call them that, at least, because you’re on better terms with them than you’ve been with most people.
“Coffee?” McCoy waltzes through your office to use your Replicator.
“Why yes, why don’t you use my Replicator?” You snark at him, but he doesn’t stop, just punches in what he needs.
“Mine’s broken.”
“Again?!”
He snorts, rolls his eyes at you and drops the first cup of coffee on your desk, next to the empty cup you’ve had drunk out before.
“That damn hobgoblin is coming around for an exam he needs for his away mission and he’s getting on my nerves.”
“Everyone is getting on your nerves.”
“Right, why are you in here again?”
“This is my office,” you send him a pointed glare as he takes the chair across from your desk, “Wait, who’s the hobgoblin?”
“Spock,” he growls and you pull a face before you can stop yourself.
“Oh! What was that?”
“What was what?”
“Your face.”
“Yeah, that’s my face, what about it?”
He smirks at you. “You don’t like him either?”
You grab your PADD and get up. “As you are so adamant on making me leave the room, I’ll follow your request.”
“No! Don’t leave! Spock’s out there!” He warns you, laughter hiding in his voice.
You roll your eyes at him.
“I’m able to be in the same room with people I don’t find comfortable. I’m not a child.”
You step out of the office before you can rethink your choice to insult your CMO only to find yourself face to face with the Commander Spock.
“Greetings,” you tell him in a voice so stiff you can’t believe it’s coming from you.
You turn away and leave before he can answer, slipping into an empty exam room on the way to calm down your heart.
It’s easy to forget the way you react to the first officer as long as he’s not crossing your way.
But he crosses your way. Way too often for your liking and if you’d allowed to, you’d stay in your office all the time just to avoid him.
It’s hard to be professional when just the sight of a blue shirt and black hair makes your heart jump in your chest and your mouth dry.
“Great news,” McCoy barges into your office again, slapping a PADD down on your desk, “There is an away mission and you’re on the team.”
“What?” You grab the PADD, reading through it, “This says M’Benga.”
“M’Benga got an ear infection, he’s been out since yesterday, didn’t you notice Lefebvre working his shifts?”
“I think she’s avoiding me,” you tell him, “Or I’m avoiding her, I don’t know. Does she only speak french?”
“I’ve never heard her speak anything else,” McCoy shrugs, “Doesn’t matter, you’re on the mission and it’s leaving in about an hour, so get ready.”
You get up from your chair, annoyed of this short notice change in plans, but delighted for the chance to go down to a planet again. It’s been quite some time since the last chance you’ve got.
But as soon as you step into the transporter room, your happiness subsides when you see Spock standing there, waiting for the rest of the team to trickle in.
You send a greeting nod in his direction and leave it at that. There’s no sense in talking to him when you can’t trust your voice anyway.
“I am glad that you are accompanying us as replacement of M’Benga, Doctor Y/N,” he addresses you before you can run away another time.
You stare at him, unable to speak. He obviously takes your silence as a sign of surprise or shock, because he elaborates, talking about the amount of experience you have. It almost sounds like he’s praising you, but giving your further experience with Vulcan’s it could also be the standard awkward smalltalk as they are trying to improve the team’s morale.
You’re glad when he stops talking, as you’ve been unable to speak anyway and you’re glad when he leads the team across the planet’s surface, addressing each of you with a task.
As the medical officer you’re just there to be of use when necessary and you stand back and watch the pack of science officers taking samples of literally everything.
You’re also a bit ashamed to admit that most of the time you’re sneaking peeks at Commander Spock’s figure, amazed how a guy that’s actually not even your type can have such an effect at you.
Maybe you should just talk to him. Maybe that will make the feelings go away.
And just as you think that, you feel a rumble going through the cliff you’re standing on.
“Commander!” You yell and he looks back at you, nodding. He’s felt it too.
“Everyone run towards the forest!” You order, a strange mixture of intuition, reflexes and your experience on a particular nasty planet kicking in, “Now!”
You pull a girl up that’s just two steps left from you and give her a well meant push, ushering everyone towards the forest. Spock’s got his Comm in hand and you can hear him ask to be beamed up over the sound of another rumbling.
You grab his hand, as he does not move and pull him with you, over the cracks that start to form in the formerly thick stone. Something gives way right beneath you, your left leg slipping through the crack, your knee hitting hard against the rock.
You scream in agony, your hand slipping out of Spock’s.
“This is going to hurt,” he says and then there’s a cracking sound, an agonizing pain shooting up your leg and he pulls you free and into his arms, carrying you while running.
If not for the pain that’s threatening to take your consciousness with it, you’d be ashamed of the position you’re currently in, but your head falls against his collarbone and you take deep breaths, trying to calm your down.
Your body feels very hot where he touches you. Vulcan body temperature is higher than humans, you remember as your mind slips into something you can’t explain.
You can see your own body in Spock’s arms, but not from above, more like it must look like through his eyes. You can see the forest coming closer, gold light taking away one team member after the other. You can feel weirdly calm and above all of this, no worry, no panic, just one intake of breath after another as if all your emotions are far far away from you.
And then, with that sickening feeling of falling, you know the rock is giving way beneath you. Gold light blinds you before your back crashes hard against the floor of the Enterprise’s transporter room, a heavy body crashing into you, knocking the breath out of you and your consciousness as well.
When you wake up again, your foot is resting on a pillow and McCoy glares at you from where he’s handling the osteo regen.
“I let you go on one away mission and you manage to break your leg in two places while the planet falls apart.”
You’re too tired to answer, just stick your tongue out at him and close your eyes.
There’s a weird feeling right at the back of your skull. You must your head pretty hard.
Two days later the feeling hasn’t left and you find yourself sitting in your office, staring at the wall across from you after a rather disturbing daydream.
Disturbing as in how realistic the dream had been. For the whole time it had happened you had been convinced Commander Spock had walked into your office, demanding to drink a cup of tea with you.
And your body reacts to dream Spock just the same as it does to the real Spock.
You manage it through three days before you go to talk to someone you trust.
“McCoy, can you take a look at my head?”
“Yeah, sure, it’s round and has skin on it,” he jokes but turns serious when he sees your face, “Turn around.”
A few tests later the results are in. He lets you look over them.
“Nothing?” You look at them a second time. “But I have this weird feeling at the back of my skull and I’ve been daydreaming. Really strange dreams of Spock wanting to talk to me. It was very realistic and-” You stop yourself as you see the look on McCoy’s face.
‘Wait, you know what this is about, right?”
“Yes,” he heaves a sigh and you can feel your blood turning cold.
“No, not that, goddamnit woman, don’t think of the worst right away.”
“How can I not when you act like this!”
“It’s a damn bond, that’s all,” he snaps, “You and Spock have bonded. You must have touched quite a lot during that mission…”
“Stop right there,” you interrupt him, “The amount of touching was nothing but necessary to get both of us out there alive. If this would happen so easily there would be way more humans and vulcans bonded out there.”
“He must like you then, because I can’t imagine Spock letting his guard down by accident either. Hasn’t he tried talking to you yet? Have you felt something unusual from his side?”
“Wait, this bond… are you insinuating that he can feel what I feel?”
“As far as I understand it, yes, he can.”
You think of the way you’ve reacted to the daydream of him and put your head in your hands with a groan.
“I’m so fucked.”
He laughs. “I do agree with you on that. But I guess you’d better talk this out with the man itself.”
“Do I have to?”
“No, go on and have some more weird daydreams about that man, if you’d like that better,” McCoy jokes and slaps your arm lightly with his PADD,” Now get out of my exam room, you’re relieved for the rest of the day.”
You find Commander Spock in his ready room.
The moment he turns to look at you, you can feel that weird thing on the back of your skull, pulling like an elastic band, accompanied with a weird feeling of contentment.
“I’m taking that you’re happy to see me?”
“I don’t think I’m the only one who feels this way about the other,” he respons and you glare at him, knowing full well he will feel your shame through the bond.
“What are we going to do about this bond?” You ask him, still standing in the doorway.
“I have a proposal,” he starts, getting up from his chair, “We sit down, drink a cup of tea and discuss this. If we don’t find this bond acceptable after we’ve gotten to know each other, there are ways to undo this bond.”
“Are you asking me out on a date?” You mock him.
You can feel his amusement at your wording.
“Yes, I believe I do.”

Logos and Pathos (Book 3) Chapter Thirty-One
TOS! Spock x Empath! Reader
Chapter Thirty-One: Bond of Love
Summary: The marriage of Spock and (Y/N) arrives.
            “Remember, Spock,” said Amanda, dusting off Spock’s shirt. It was blue and a formal Vulcan outfit. It was fit for a wedding. After all, that was what he was preparing for. “Marriage is a big step in a relationship. You must always remember it is not the end goal of your relationship but the beginning of an even more important part.”
            “Yes, Mother,” said Spock.
            “So, treat (Y/N) right every day. And make sure they know you love them,” said Amanda. She smiled at her son. “I’m so proud of you. And so happy. You two are so good for each other.” She squeezed his arm before walking out of the room.
            Sarek and Spock were left in the room as Spock examined himself in the mirror and once more made sure he was presentable. Then, he turned and faced his father.
            “Spock,” said Sarek, as official and formal as ever.
            “Father,” said Spock.
            “After the…incident with T’Pring, the question of your marriage has been of some consideration for your mother and I,” said Sarek.
            “I am aware that you all intended me to marry T’Pring and that (Y/N) is not a Vulcan,” said Spock.
            Sarek raised a hand, and Spock stopped. “Your choice is no issue. It never would be.” That was as close as Sarek would come to saying that what he wanted was for his son to be happy. “And (Y/N) is an efficient, intelligent officer. They are very suitable.”
            Spock nodded. This was Sarek’s approval (and it was quite the approval. It was Sarek’s version of saying “(Y/N) is a good choice, and I’m glad you’re marrying them”). Both of his parents liked (Y/N) and were happy for the pair (even without saying it, Spock knew).
            Sarek nodded in return to Spock and raised his hand in the Vulcan salute. “Live long and prosper, Spock. Together with your spouse.”
            Spock returned the gesture. “Thank you, Father.”
            Sarek nodded and exited. A moment later, Spock walked out and moved towards the garden of one of Celia’s parks. Flower bushes and trees lined the paths, and Spock made his way towards the canopy of petals woven for fiancés to stand below and marry.
            “How are you feeling?” said Kirk, peeling off from where he’d been sitting in the chairs set out for guests.
            “Captain, I would think by now you would know that sort of question is unnecessary,” said Spock.
            Kirk waved a hand. “Eh, sure, but it’s your wedding day, Spock. Aren’t you excited?”
            “I am…pleased,” said Spock, the slight acknowledgement of his anticipation of marrying the love of his life all he would give as a Vulcan.
            “I’m so happy for you,” said Kirk, grinning. “And you and (Y/N) are perfect for each other.”
            “Thank you for your words, Captain,” said Spock, inclining his head. “And thank you for accompanying me to my wedding as a friend.”
            “Of course, Spock. You’re like my brother,” said Kirk, smiling.
            “Hey, Spock,” said Bones, walking up in his own formal wear. He crossed his arms. “Listen, I know you and (Y/N) are head-over-heels, out-of-your-minds in love.”
            “Doctor, your need for exaggeration astounds me,” said Spock, but the words had the underlying fondness that Spock and Bonse always had for each other.”
            “Yeah, yeah, whatever,” said Bones. “My point is…you two are annoyingly in love, and I’m happy for you.” He narrowed his eyes. “But if you hurt (Y/N), I’m gonna use you to learn where Vulcan organs are.”
            Spock raised an eyebrow. “Doctor, the threats are unnecessary. I intend no harm to (Y/N).”
            “Good,” said Bones. Then, he smiled and clapped Spock on the back. “Have a good marriage. I’m sure you guys will be great.” He walked off, and Kirk and Spock watched him go.
            Kirk chuckled. “Even Bones is happy. Look at that.”
            “Dr. McCoy has always chosen unorthodox ways of showing his feelings,” observed Spock. “How unusual.”
            “How human,” teased Kirk. He patted Spock on the shoulder. “Now, come on, let’s get in place. It’s almost time.”
            Spock nodded. “Indeed.” He was almost married to (Y/N).
l
            “Oh, (Y/N), we’re so happy for you,” said Eirene, hugging her child and kissing their forehead.
            “Spock and you are a great couple,” said Nikomedes. He squeezed (Y/N)’s hand. “An unusual choice to some people, but seeing you two together…Oh, darling, you’re so in love with him and so happy.”
            “And that’s all that matters to us,” said Eirene. She smiled. “Your happiness.”
            “Thanks, Mom, Dad,” said (Y/N), smiling. “I’m very happy. I love Spock so much, and even if some people can’t tell, he loves me. I’ve never had to doubt it.”
            “Then you’re going to be very happy for the rest of your life,” said Eirene. She walked towards the door. “We’re so happy, darling. So happy.”
            Nikomedes and Eirene walked out the door, and Uhura peeked her head in.
            “(Y/N), you look breathtaking,” said Uhura, smiling.
            “So do you,” said (Y/N), smiling at their friend.
            In Celian culture, a close friend walked the spouse to marry (familial love was involved in getting the person ready, then friends brought them to their romantic love. All types of love were involved and honored). Uhura had been honored when (Y/N) had explained that they couldn’t think of a friend they’d want more. She had been more than happy to accept.
            “Thank you,” said Uhura, laughing lightly. She wore a long red dress. “I’m just happy to get a chance to dress up.” She winked. “And I’m happy for you to be getting married.”
            (Y/N) smiled. “Is everyone here?”
            “Yeah. We’re all ready to go,” said Uhura. She extended a hand. “Are you ready to go?”
            (Y/N) took it. “I am. I’m ready to be married.”
l
            (Y/N) rounded the garden path and was faced with the aisle to the canopy Spock stood under. The guests at the wedding turned to watch them. Friends and family alike were there to support Spock and (Y/N) as they finally (finally) married. (Y/N) passed by T’Pring and Stonn (which was nice to see) and Regulus and Elias (who had matching rings on their ring fingers, coincidentally). They passed by Amanda and Sarek, Spock’s parents. On the other side of the isle sat Eirene, Nikomedes, Alekto, Merope, and Bones. Kirk waited to the ride of Spock, and Uhura held (Y/N)’s hand gently as she guided them towards Spock, their beloved.
            (Y/N) stepped up onto the dais, and the canopy of flowers opened up in a blooming swirl of petals. Sunlight shone down on the couple and highlighted their beauty, but they only looked at each other. (Y/N) admired the intricate details of Spock’s formal Vulcan attire, and Spock simply stared at the cream gown floating around (Y/N) that glowed with the same gold of their eyes and aura. Neither had ever found another person so attractive, and they had never been so in love with each other.
            No, that would be a lie. They always loved each other as deeply as a person could. That never changed.
            The Celian officiant stepped forward first. “We are gathered here today to see the union of (Y/N) and Spock.” She raised her hands to Kirk and Uhura. “May we have the rings?”
            Kirk and Uhura extended their hands to Spock and (Y/N), and each person took one.
            “(Y/N), with this ring you give Spock your loyalty and your love. Do you understand that the bond between you entwines your emotions, your minds, and your hearts in their entirety?” said the Celian officiant.
            “I do,” said (Y/N), smiling. The ring in their hand was gold and had a blue stone, the exact shade of Spock’s aura. It glowed for a moment before fading.
            “Then do you accept this bonding of heart and mind in matrimony?” said the Celian officiant.
            “I do,” said (Y/N), completely confident in their choices.
            “And you, Spock, with this ring you give (Y/N) your loyalty and your love. Do you understand that the bond between you entwines your emotions, your minds, and your hearts in their entirety?” asked the Celian officiant.
            “I do,” said Spock, voice monotone as ever but completely at ease. His gaze didn’t leave (Y/N)’s. The gold ring with a Vokaya stone glowed for a moment.
            “Then do you accept this bonding of heart and mind in matrimony?”
            “I do.” Spock wouldn’t have it any other way.
            “You may exchange the rings and accept your bond,” said the Celian officiant.
            (Y/N) held out their hand, and Spock slipped the Vokaya ring onto their finger. (Y/N) then placed their ring onto his. The instant they both wore it, they felt the beginnings of their psychic bond beginning as their marriage and devotion tied them together.
            The Celian officiant stepped back, and the Vulcan officiant stepped forward.
            “Raise your right hands,” he said.
            Spock and (Y/N) obeyed, their left hands with rings staying by their sides. One side for the Celians, the other for the Vulcans. Spock and (Y/N) merged traditions just as they came together in marriage.
            “You may touch fingers,” said the Vulcan officiant.
            (Y/N) and Spock touched their first two fingers to one another.
            “You are about to enter into the deepest connection a Vulcan may have—the marriage bond,” said the Vulcan. He looked between the two. “A psychic bond is not to be taken likely. Do you swear loyalty and respect to one another?”
            “We do,” said (Y/N) and Spock.
            “And do you swear to uphold the values of Vulcan and of Celia?” said the Vulcan officiant.
            “We do.”
            “Then your minds may come together,” said the Vulcan officiant. “You may forge the marriage bond.”
            (Y/N) and Spock closed their eyes.
            “Your minds to each other. Let your minds connect. Forge the marriage bond,” said the Vulcan.
            (Y/N) and Spock felt the threads started by the Celian traditions grow tighter, stronger as the Vulcan traditions bonded with them. They were marrying two cultures and two people. Their minds and emotions moved together, and although they separated and were individuals once more, Spock and (Y/N) could feel the connection between them.
            Spock could feel (Y/N)’s love for him, and (Y/N) could feel how at peace Spock was with himself around them. The psychic bond was not invasive in the slightest. It was strong enough to tie them together forever, no matter how far apart they were, but it was gentle. Calm. Quiet.
            It was the feeling of lying under the sun silently beside another person—warmth and companionship. It was everything (Y/N) and Spock could ask for. And it had all been created by their love.
            They opened their eyes. Spock’s gaze softened. (Y/N) smiled.
            “The marriage bond has been created,” said the Vulcan officiant.
            The Celian officiant stepped up beside him again. “We give you the married couple, Spock and (Y/N).”
            Amanda clapped happily, and Sarek, Stonn, and T’Pring nodded in approval. Regulus and Elias cheered and applauded. (Y/N)’s family and the Starfleet officers were the loudest, of course. They whooped and cheered, happy for their friends to be finally married and happy together.
            (Y/N) laughed and curled their two fingers around Spock’s fondly. They were married. They were married. To Spock! The love of their life!
            “I don’t think I could possibly be happier, Spock,” said (Y/N), smiling widely at him.
            “I believe I would greatly enjoy kissing my dear spouse,” said Spock, eyes warm with love.
            (Y/N) didn’t need the bond to feel his devotion. They smiled warmly. “Then kiss me, my husband.”
            Spock leaned in and kissed them, pulling his fingers away from theirs only to pick them up bridal-style. But his lips never left theirs as he spun them around. Spock would love them forever. He knew that was the truest thought he’d ever had.
            “I love you, (Y/N),” said Spock, separating only to speak for a moment.
            “I love you, too, Spock,” said (Y/N), putting their hands around his neck and pulling him back in for a kiss, and Spock was only too happy to oblige.
            Logos may appeal to logic, and pathos may appeal to emotion, but if there was one singular truth in the world, it was that (Y/N) and Spock loved each other, and it made perfect, logical sense for them to have such an emotion.
            (Y/N) and Spock kissed each other with that emotion, full of the knowledge that their hearts and minds were one. They were in love.

Warning(s): Slightly cringe attempts at flirting, Painfully oblivious reader, Stephen King references
Tumblr media
Leonard was finally ready to move on. The divorce had left him with wounds he wasn't sure he could heal from. He hadn't been interested in dating for years afterward. But for the first time since then, someone had caught his attention.
You were the new head of Archaeology aboard the enterprise. You had been transferred from the USS Celine to assist in the 5 year mission. To say you were new wouldn't be exactly correct, you had been on board for about 6 months already. You had taken to the position well and were already good friends with everyone in your unit, as well as all of the bridge and command personnel.
Leonard knew he liked you the moment you met. You had a firm handshake, a killer smile, and when Captain Kirk asked if you were single, you told him it wasn't his business. Jim's stunned face when you shook his hand and walked away was priceless.
Of course there were far more reasons to admire you other than your ability to take the captain down a peg. You were incredible at your job, finding ancient ruins in the most unlikely of places. You were like a dog when it came to fossils, sniffing them out almost as soon as you landed on alien soil. You were smart and always ready to answer questions. You were also highly tolerant of people's mistakes, something that was slowly rubbing off on him. When you were around, Leonard found he had more patience for stupidity and everyone else noticed as well.
You were kind, you were a great listener, you were hilarious, you were dependable, considerate, honest, cheerful, and you could always be counted upon for some witty banter. Not to mention you were the most beautiful person Bones had ever seen in his life.
That's not to say you didn't have your downfalls too, everyone does after all. You were self deprecating, a little easily distracted, and of course you were the most painfully oblivious person in the universe.
~~~
It all started one morning at breakfast. You were sitting in the cafeteria with Jim, Nyota, and Spock.
Leonard had made his decision the previous night while drinking with Jim. Bones wanted to pursue a relationship with you, but he wasn't going to just tell you point blank. He wanted to gauge your interest before taking that leap of faith.
"Mornin'" Leonard said as he sat down beside you. "Jim, you look terrible."
Jim, who was still hung over from the night before, frowned at the doctor. "Gee, thanks. I had no idea."
"You're welcome. Now Y/N on the other hand, you look great this morning," Bones smirked. Jim and Nyota immediately perked up, clearly not expecting him to be so forward (especially not this early in the morning.)
"Thanks Doc," You smiled at him and returned your attention to your oatmeal.
"What's your secret?" Asked Bones upon deciding that your smile was a good sign.
"My secret?" You raised an eyebrow.
"To looking so good every morning," he clarified. Nyota and Jim looked at each other incredulously.
"Ummmm," You thought out loud. "Get good sleep, take your vitamins, and don't get wasted at two in the morning." You patted Jim's shoulder and stood up with your empty bowl. "I better get to the lab, see you guys later!" You grinned.
Everyone bid you a good morning before gawking at Leonard, amusement etched on their faces. "What's your secret? Did you seriously ask 'what's your secret?'"Jim cackled.
"Leonard, you seriously need to up your flirting game." Uhura barely stifled a giggle.
"I know it's been awhile doc but seriously, that was terrible! And I've heard Spock's attempts at flirting," Kirk snickered.
"It wasn't that bad, y'all are acting like I'm some cretin who stole their oatmeal and called it flirting. I called them attractive, get off my back." Leonard rolled his eyes.
"No, you said they looked good. That could be interpreted in, so many ways. As far as flirting goes, that was pretty pathetic." Nyota said.
"I would have to agree doctor, perhaps you could take instruction from the captain or even-" Spock started.
"Shut up and eat your breakfast," Leonard snapped, causing another fit of giggles around him.
Bones sat there, glaring into his eggs, trying to figure out where he went wrong. The more he thought about it, the more likely it seemed that Uhura was right. You didn't realize he meant it in a romantic way. Maybe he was more out of practice than he thought. He was just going to have to give it another shot. Practice makes perfect after all.
~~~
The next day, Leonard tried a different approach. Coffee mug in hand, he made his way to your office only to find it empty. He looked all over the labs, nowhere to be seen. It wasn't until made it up to the bridge that he found you deep in a discussion about landing sites for an upcoming mission.
Your head perked up when you saw the doctor come in from the turbolift. "Ahoy, McCoy! We missed you at breakfast this morning." you smiled as he came to stand beside you.
"Sorry darlin', had some gamma shift engineers to patch up." Bones casually passed the mug over to you. "Made you some coffee."
"Really? for me?" You peered into the cup and beamed, "thank you doctor, it's just how I like it!" Jim gave Leonard a subtle thumbs up while you sipped your drink.
Leonard had a good feeling this time. You were happy with the gesture and even Kirk seemed impressed. It felt like a good first step, until-
"First Chekov brings me a croissant, then McCoy brings me a coffee. I'm so lucky to have such great friends. Thank you guys!" You smiled at the two men.
"You are very welcome!" Pavel grinned.
Leonard's mood plummeted almost instantly. While he was glad you got to enjoy a croissant and a coffee, Chekov's untimely generosity made his romantic gesture seem more like a friendly one. He was going to have to go back to the drawing board.
You turned to the captain, cradling your warm cup in your hand. "Is there anything else you need of me Captain?"
"No Commander, I believe you've answered all my questions," Jim said.
"Wonderful! If anyone needs me, I'll be in the lab trying to decode some ancient texts," you took another sip of your coffee before strolling back to the turbolift.
Once you were out of sight, Jim patted Leonard on the arm. Sulu and Chekov were trying their damnedest not to laugh, and failing miserably of course.
Leonard furrowed his brows at the two of them before looking back at Jim's cheeky grin.
"You told them?" Leonard scowled.
"Told them what?" Jim laughed.
"About..." Leonard rolled his eyes and gestured to the turbolift.
"The only ones I told were Uhura and Spock," Jim assured.
"He didn't need to tell us anything, It's written all over your face Dr. McCoy," Sulu said.
"Yes, you get all red in the cheeks and you have this look in your eyes like you've seen the sun for the first time. It is very obvious you are vying for the Commander's attention," Chekov agreed.
"If I'm so obvious, why isn't Y/N picking up on it?" Leonard crossed his arms.
"Maybe you need a new approach, try... I don't know, making up new excuses to spend time with them. Or maybe you could try touching them," Jim suggested.
"Touching them?"
"Yeah, nothing inappropriate or anything. Just little things, like pats on the back, nudging their shoulder. Stuff like that. Might show Y/N you're interested without having to use the words, you know?"
"I don't know Jim..."
"Look, you're a doctor right?"
"I hope that'd be pretty goddamned obvious by now," Leonard glowered and put his hands on his hips.
"And as a doctor, you have a pretty good gauge on if someone's uncomfortable right?" Jim asked, "just try it and if you get the sense they're uncomfortable, just stop doing it. Easy as that."
"Why do I get the feeling it's not going to be as 'easy as that?'" The doctor shook his head.
"Because you are an incorrigible pessimist, Bones." Jim patted his shoulder.
"I'm done here, some of us actually have work to do," Leonard grumbled and trudged to the turbolift.
"All work and no play makes McCoy a dull boy," Kirk beamed.
"Quote Stephen King to me one more time. See what happens." Bones said as the doors closed. Alone in the elevator, he allowed himself to think about where to go from here. Perhaps Jim's ideas weren't so terrible. He rather liked the idea of spending more time with you. He usually talked with you during mealtimes and meetings, but not much outside of that. The touching is what was making him nervous.
He came into contact with people all the time, being a doctor was a very hands-on profession. He just didn't have Jim's level of confidence anymore. It felt ridiculous, he could stitch a man's thumb back to his hand and deliver an infant in the middle of a battle, but he couldn't touch your shoulder? Maybe he'd just skip that step for now. Quality time, that seemed like as good of a direction as any.
~~~
He continued bringing you coffee every day, It gave him more time to get to know you and Leonard was falling harder by the minute. He hadn't really looked forward to anything in a long time, but he looked forward to your coffee talks. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough anymore. The chats weren't long enough and you still weren't catching on to his feelings.
It had been a particularly stressful day, it felt like everyone needed something from him and he was in desperate need of a break. The moment things got quiet in the medbay, Leonard snuck away and his feet carried him to the archaeology labs.
It was quiet inside. A few ensigns were at work in their stations, putting together fossilized bones and carbon-dating old tools. Leonard found you in the back of the lab where you were busy decoding some old scrolls. Learning to understand a lost language was no easy task; Leonard couldn't fathom the amount of reading it would take to accomplish such a thing. Still, you seemed ready to take on anything the Captain dished out.
"Commander, I see you're hard at work," Bones smiled and came to stand beside you.
"I see you're not!" You joked and looked up at him from your seat. "What brings you to my neck of the woods doctor? Did I forget about an appointment?"
"Not at all, I was just taking a break and wanted to see how you were doing," he said, hoping you would understand what he was trying to say: that he was thinking of you and wanted to see you out of everyone else on the Enterprise.
"Well I'm really glad you're here Len, because I've just made a breakthrough!" You beamed. "Take a look at this," you motioned for him to look closer.
Leonard leaned in to look at your scroll. "So, you know how I found these papers in a box under the Mofeli excavation right?"
"Mhm, you insisted there must be a basement and you found one," Bones hummed.
"I originally thought the site was a business, that these papers must be some sort of documentation. You know, like land deeds, proof of insurance, perhaps even money. Basically stuff you would usually keep in a lock box, but these aren't ledgers or inventory slips or anything like that at all."
"What are they?" He turned to look at you.
You met his gaze and gave him a grin that could melt the ice caps and outshine Sirius. "They're love letters," you said and his heart hammered his chest painfully. He was only just now realizing how close he was to you. How his hand was resting on your back, how his face was mere inches from yours.
"See, if you look here you'll find this symbol all over the place in these letters. It's the symbol meaning love or lover. I've completed the translation on this one right here." You returned your attention to the paper. Leonard swallowed and glanced at the sheet, trying his damnedest not to stare like some creep.
"What, um... what does it say?" He cleared his throat.
"It says, and I'm paraphrasing here, 'My dearest love, I find words elude me. My heart blossoms for you under the light of the sun and keeps me warm when the light fades. I find not the courage to speak, but many a whim to write. I desire your embrace. I seek your song. I crave your hand. I covet your blazing eyes. One day I-' This part is all faded so I can't make it out, but the last thing it says here at the bottom is 'May our hearts and bodies be intertwined for eternity, and our souls may sing together as one.' Then there's what I assume to be a name at the bottom, but I'm not sure how to pronounce it."
"It all sounds a little sappy to me," Leonard joked in a slightly strained voice. This whole thing with the closeness and the touching and the letter was really affecting him. If you noticed his struggle, you gave no indication, In fact, you seemed perfectly at ease being this close to him.
"Hey, a little sap never hurt anybody," you elbowed him lightly in the side.
"Croakus sap can."
"Touché"
Leonard chucked softly and lightly patted your back before crossing his arms casually over his chest Your easy conversation was already helping him relax again. "so, Commander, you've been down here in your lab for an awfully long time. What do you say we go for a walk to the observation lounge?"
"Sorry doctor, I would but somebody's got to make sure the ensigns don't blow the place up. That, and Spock wants me to finish three more translations by the end of my shift," you explained.
"Of course he does," Leonard huffed.
"But I'm free this evening if that works for you?" You tilted your head.
"Of course, absolutely." Leonard had no idea if that was going to work for him, but he was going to make it work.
"Great, I'll see you then," you said with a surprising amount of enthusiasm.
"See you then. Don't work too hard," he smiled and left you to your translating.
Bones was pleased with himself. He had managed to follow Jim's suggestions and they appeared to work. He'd even managed to secure a date with you later that evening...Well...he hadn't actually called it a date when he suggested it. No matter, Leonard would just clarify all that the next time he saw you!
~~~
He never got to make the distinction that your walk was intended to be a date. You had brought a friend with you. Leonard could feel the fear in your ensign companion's eyes. Bones was sure everyone on the goddamned ship knew what he was trying to do but you. It was still a nice night despite the unwanted guest. He learned a lot about where you grew up, your interests, and your favorite films and music. He learned your favorite flower was the iris, your first job was a librarian, he even learned you were in a band during your time at the academy.
The more he learned, the more he liked you. He wasn't even sure if liked was the right word anymore. You had quite a few things in common. Your favorite foods, you liked the same movies, and you enjoyed the same music. You asked him questions that got him really thinking. They were the sort of topics you don't realize you have an opinion on until you start talking about them. But what surprised him most of all was when you asked about his daughter. What sort of interests does she have? How is she doing in school? I wonder if she would like X,Y, and Z. He was always hesitant to talk about Joanna or his ex, but it felt easier with you. Like that wound he had been carrying for so long was finally closing.
Your friendship progressed beautifully, but he felt like you were growing more and more blind to his advances. He had seen you turn plenty of people down before. If you weren't interested in someone, you made it abundantly clear. But you had yet to do the same with Bones. It wasn't just him: Jim, Nyota, Pavel, Scotty, Hikaru, and pretty much everyone else who knew you were puzzled as well. Even Spock couldn't understand how you were so incognizant. It was funny for them at first. They would laugh at every compliment you didn't register, every smile you didn't realize had meaning, every coffee, every walk to the deck, every deep conversation, every breath of relief when you come back from a mission. He was even so bold as to tell you in no uncertain terms that he'd do anything to make you smile.
The laughter turned into looks of pity. Leonard was about ready to give up. Maybe you weren't interested and you just wanted to let him down easy, you were good friends after all. Bones sat at the bar as Jim poured him another glass. Normally he was the one playing bartender, but Jim insisted he take over.
"I gotta say Bones, I really hate seeing you like this." Jim poured himself a drink too. "How did lunch go?"
"I told them they have beautiful eyes." Leonard sighed and shook his head.
"And?" The Captain probed.
"They said 'if only they worked as well as they look,'" Bones groaned.
"Ah..." Jim stared into his drink. He tried to put himself into Leonard's shoes. What would he do if he were in this situation?
"I don't know what I'm doing wrong..." McCoy muttered.
"You aren't doing anything wrong, Y/N just-" Jim started.
"It's something I'm doing, it has to be. Maybe this is a mistake."
"No, Bones it's not a mistake. That couldn't be farther from the truth."
"And how would you know? It's not like you have any problems finding dates," Leonard rolled his eyes.
"Seems like Y/N's not the only one who's oblivious," Kirk chuckled.
"I'm not in the mood for jokes Jim." Leonard took a sip of his whiskey and ran a hand over his face.
"Believe me Bones, I wish it were a joke. There's just no way the two most unaware people are head over heels for each other. I'm waiting for the punch line" James smirked.
"What the hell are you talking about?" Bones scowled.
"Look, just... we have shore leave coming up in a few weeks. Ask them on a date. Like really ask them. Be frank, be clear, make sure there is no way Y/N can misunderstand you. Trust me," Jim squeezed Leonard's shoulder.
"Fine. But if this goes south, you owe me as many drinks as it takes to forget this whole debacle." The doctor downed the last of his glass.
"Bones if this goes south, I'll eat my hat."
"You don't have a hat."
"Point still stands. It'll work, you just have to have a little faith. And lucky for you, I have enough faith for the both of us." Jim winked.
Leonard wished he had Jim's enthusiasm. Officious little prick, he thought to himself...Dammit, now I'm quoting Stephen King.
~~~
Shore leave was just around the corner and Leonard was no closer to his goal of asking you on a date. Everyone was running around, trying to prepare the ship for inspection, he still had his normal duties to attend to, neither of you had time for coffee all week, Spock was being especially nitpicky about protocol, and he was anxious about what you'd say when he eventually got around to asking the million dollar question.
Yeah, Leonard was about ready to lose his marbles.
He was prepping the supply storage units, when Spock strolled in for the tenth time that day.
"Dr. McCoy," Spock greeted, startling Bones to the point that he nearly dropped his box of gauze.
"My god man, what the hell do you need this time?" Leonard implored, "don't you have anything better to do with your day than pester me?"
"Indeed I do, doctor" Spock replied.
Leonard huffed and sat down his box, "then what is it, did you miss my face or something?"
"I saw your face only moments ago, I have no need to miss-"
"It was a joke Spock, what do you want?" Leonard pinched the bridge of his nose.
"I came to inform you that I saw Commander Y/L/N coming in this direction." Spock stated.
Leonard raised an eyebrow, "and?"
"It is my understanding you are anxious to speak with them regarding your-" Spock started.
"Your understanding is correct, I just..." Leonard sighed and shook his head.
"Would it help if I told you the odds that they will say yes?" Spock asked.
"Never tell me the odds Spock," Leonard grumbled.
"Then I will simply say, good luck." Spock turned and left again, leaving Bones to decide if he was ready for this. He didn't have time for a decision, because there you were in the doorway with two mugs in your hands.
"Hey, stranger," You laughed. "Looks like I got here just in time, you look like you need some." You handed over the cup and Leonard took it gratefully.
"Thanks," Leonard offered you a smile and took a sip from his mug. It was just how he liked it, right down to the temperature. Together, they retreated to the safety of his office. Once inside, they fell into their usual conversation. He waited until things got quiet, then he decided to go for it.
"So, got any plans for shore leave?" Leonard asked, leaning back in his chair in an effort to appear more at ease.
"No, not really. Maybe I'll visit with a couple friends, catch up on sleep. How about you? got any exciting plans?" You leaned in, resting your chin on your hand.
"Not yet," he admitted. "But I'm hoping to make some."
"Oh? You got someone special in mind?" You hummed.
"Someone incredibly special, yeah." Leonard smiled. So far, so good.
"Oh, well I hope it goes well." You shifted awkwardly in your seat.
"Me too..." Leonard agreed. You both didn't speak for a moment, the distant hum of the warp core did little to tame the silence.
"Hey Y/N... I was thinking maybe we could go to that restaurant you like, you know the one with the really good Chicken Parmesan you're always talking about." He mused, "what do you think?"
"I, um... I think they'd like it" The smile you gave him looked...sad?
"What are you talking about? Who'd like it?" Leonard couldn't possibly be more confused.
"Your special someone?" It was your turn to look confused.
You've got to be kidding me
"I'm talking about you darlin', do you want to go to that restaurant with me, just us, nobody else. You and me. Together." Leonard clarified, meeting your gaze.
You looked positively flabbergasted. He couldn't possibly mean what he was saying, right? There was no way Leonard wanted to... I mean, he was way too good for you! You had been trying for months to get his attention, to no avail. This must be a dream. You're going to wake up any minute.
"Darlin'?"
"I, uh...what?" You blinked out of your daze.
"Dammit Y/N, I'm trying to ask you out on a date!" Bones ran a hand through his hair, exasperation evident in his tone.
"Really? Me?" You asked hopefully.
"Yes!" He replied "Look, it's okay if you don't w-" You suddenly burst into laughter and all the words died on his lips. "What's so funny?"
"Oh, I'm sorry! It's just-" You giggled, "I actually came here to do the same thing..." You said sheepishly as you dug into your pocket "I, um... I got us tickets to see your favorite band. Figured if you said no, you could just take Jim instead." You handed the tickets over to him.
Leonard stared at the tickets in his hand, shock written all over his face. "Sweetheart, are you telling me we've both been dancing around each other for months, when we could have been doing stuff like this the whole time?"
"Seems that way, yes."
Leonard smiled and shook his head. "We're not very good at this, are we?"
"Not at all," You laughed. "Ahoy McCoy? What was I thinking?"
"Points for creativity darlin'," Bones chuckled. He almost couldn't believe things had turned out so perfectly. But in his experience, coincidence didn't exist. "Jim knew, didn't he?"
"He was actually the one who pushed me to come here," you admitted.
"Same. The bastard told me you'd say yes... Guess this was one of the few times I should have trusted him." Leonard concurred.
"So... What now, doctor?" You leaned a little closer. How had he never noticed your eyes before. He knew they were beautiful of course, but the way they were looking at him now made him weak in the knees. Had you always looked at him like that?
"Well, for now we're going to finish up our shifts, wouldn't want anyone to think we're slackers. But later, we're going to meet at the recreation room for a drink, possibly a game of darts. Then we'll see where the night takes us," McCoy smirked.
"How romantic, I can hardly wait for you to sweep me off my feet, they're killing me from all this running around, you know?~" You mused, resting your chin on your palm.
"Now you listen here darlin'. I'm a doctor, not a broom." Bones couldn't hide his amusement when you rolled your eyes at him.
"Well, what if I sweep you off your feet then?"
"You'll have to be careful, you might drop me and we could end up tangled in a whole mess of limbs."
"Oh, I'm counting on it.~" You teased.
Leonard swallowed hard and hid his bashfulness with a sip of his coffee, "Well in that case, sweep away."
You laughed again and McCoy was sure he had never heard a more beautiful sound in his life. He could see a future with you then. He wanted to sweep you off your feet, kiss you until you were breathless, share coffee with you early in the morning, and swap stories until late in the night. He wanted to introduce you to his daughter.
Baby steps.
"I hate to cut this short doctor, but I left the ensigns alone for too long, I'm worried there will be no lab to return to. I'll see you tonight?" You asked, fidgeting nervously with cuffs of your sleeves.
"Don't worry sweetheart, I'm not going to change my mind." Leonard smirked.
You blushed and smiled in relief, "good! Great!" You stood, grabbed your mug, and sauntered happily to the door. You paused just a moment and looked back at Bones sweetly. "See you later, handsome."
"See you later Y/N," replied Leonard. You gave him a cute little wave before hurrying back to the labs.
Once he was alone again in his office, Bones leaned back in his seat and admired the tickets on the desk. He almost couldn't believe how thoughtful you were, but this wouldn't be the first time you gave him an incredible gift. A couple months after you met, Bones had mentioned offhandedly that he missed a particular brand of whiskey from Earth. Despite being light years away, you managed to find some and give it to him. It wasn't even a special occasion, you got it just to make him happy. Leonard supposed he should have realized your feelings for him right then and there. Damn. He really was oblivious.
McCoy wanted to give you something tonight- no, he needed to give you something tonight. Something sweet, something romantic, something that says: 'you're special to me and I need to show it to you because I'm terrible with words'. But where was he going to find something like that on a starship? The botany labs. Flowers make for a great gift on a first date! Maybe if he was lucky, they would have irises growing down there. So what if bouquets are a little sappy?
A little sap never hurt anybody after all.
