i hope there’s a part of me that reflects a past i never got to know. i hope that others can hear certain inflections in my voice that tell them of places i know are a part of me but find unfamiliar. i hope there’s still a part of my body that bleeds the same blood of my ancestors— ancestors that resemble wisps of smoke more than concrete figures in my mind. i hope, one day, i can connect all the threads that were cut off and abandoned
#my mother used to tell me of how worried she was that i would die young because i couldn't help but throw myself into water#my father would always have to warn me of riptides because i could not separate myself from the beach#his home used to be filled with sleeping volcanoes and pristine beaches#my grandmother's home used to be green fields and cloudy skies. rain was a common occurrance#my father's home was rampant with discourse and bloodshed#my grandmother found her home too suffocating and stagnant. her nation's freedom was so new and unstable and old prejudices were not lost#i have relatives with stories so vibrant and fascinating but are now lost because of age and distance#i feel so distanced from the pull of their tides and can't help but feel too loose on the ground#do i fly up in the clouds because i one day dream to land?#land in the home that connects me to the history i have lost?#i was pulled away from the sea because it was dangerous and no longer my home#but it still calls#it calls me to return#but its warmth and familiarity is lost to me#i can no longer grasp it tightly as it spill through my fingers

I need help finding something I saw years ago that I’ve been thinking about. So, it was a Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs meme(?) that basically had Flint and Sam in a Girlboss/Malewife dynamic. I don’t remember the specific details, but I believe that one or both of them were trans and/or T4T, but that’s all I have to work with in terms of text. My eczema is really bad. Is there anything over the counter i can use thats stronger than the 1% hydrocortisone cream?
I'm gonna call my doctor and see if he'll call in the prescription strength cortisone cream since that's fixed me in the past when I was a teen and it got this bad. But it's a new doctor and when I was a teen I had to go in person and id really rather just call it in then make an appt wait a month with red itchy peeling face before I can finally get something to fix this
#rant#eczema#anyone else have eczema? help me out with any tips u got? please#i usually use rose oil to moisturize to keep it away#and over the counter hydrocortizone 1% cream when it starts getting Super Red and dry during flare ups#but its not gotten this bad since i was like 15#im putting hydrocortizone on 4 times a day and its keeping it from peeling/getting worse#but theres clear huge red patches on both cheeks next to my mouth and nose#and they just are NOT healing up#i read uv rays might help but idk how long theyd help and its getting cloudy here so i cant lay in sun#i could go to a tanner but only once not daily ToT#i just need to get it under control enough that over the counter hydrocortizone and my rose hip oil will be enoygh again#edit: its definitely eczema as only hydrocortizone cream seems to be calming it a bit. but its still large red patches just less itchy#slightly less raised with the hydrocortizone. but its just not strong enough ;-;
