if you danced in your youth and there isnt still one specific dance that is absolutely burned in your brain to the point that if you heard the song your need to perform that dance right then and there would resurrect you from the dead, you quite simply were not a dancer

'Ello there, Detective.
I was hopin' you'd find a post from me. It was 'bout seven years, give or take, since I last saw that post. I was 'bout a bloke not flippin' his sticks—I looked for it meself, but I ain't got a Scooby Doo 'bout it.
Much thanks.
an anon came into my office lookin' for a post about a fella flippin' his sticks. seemed my client came all the way across the ocean for this one, given the lingo they were usin'. i may not be sherlock holmes, but i sure could find this post.
i went to google and searched for "tumblr flipping his sticks" and quickly found what i was lookin' for. the last blog in the chain had been deleted, so i did a little reverse engineerin' usin' some of the reblogs and found the post no problem.
here's your post! i sure hope this fella ended up flippin' his sticks, but given how long it's been, i'm gonna say he hasn't. have a great day!
Post Case: Closed

"average person eats 3 spiders a year" factoid actually just statistical error. average person eats 0 spiders per year. Alexandria, who was killed in Brockton Bay by eating 10,000 spiders in 30 seconds, was an outlier adn should not have been counted

You know what? I’m honestly surprised there isn’t (as far as I’m aware of) a ROTTMNT 2012 crossover that takes place immediately after the Rise Boys just after defeating the Shredder and losing their Karai and through some accident one way or another they end up in the 2012 TMNT universe
But here’s the kicker: instead of usually running into the 2012 TMNT or their Kraang they run into Karai and her foot soldiers (somewhere after she takes lead of the foot clan) and being the morally-grey and fresh-out-of-losing-their-Karai trauma turtles they are they immediately attach onto her like children lost in a store
Look where I’m getting at is I just want morally-grey rise turtles hanging out with 2012 Karai and just having some not-so-innocent fun, you know? Like I feel like the fandom should make more Rise Turtles and 2012 Karai content, it would be great

Di Froyen-Velt (the Jewish Ladies' Home Journal) was a Yiddish women's magazine published in New York in the early 20th century.
The magazines I pulled these images from are available on the website of The National Library of Israel - and you can download them as pdfs. Not all the magazines listed are available and I didn't pull images from all the magazines available to download. Also the downloading is a little glitchy, you might have to click download a couple of times before the download actually starts.
I don't know if the patterns were produced under the label of the magazine, but the March 15, 1914 patterns are listed as being by May Manton (see more here and here).
