Happy new year guys!

I started my sem break, and went on a small vacation. I have a list of new years resolutions and so far I'm optimistic about the new year. My internship starts next week and I'm excited/terrified. Hopefully this year is gentler than the last. It's also my last year in college so gotta make it count❤️

Me every single morning nowadays

on third december 2-4 pm ist i may hear the kolika dhoom tanana dheem tanana theme in the middle of the exam.

If you would have asked me in November, my entire life would be surrounded around preparing for CLAT. I was terrified, I had only prepared properly for 3 months, most of which had been spent in and out of a hospital looking after my family members. Somehow managed to prepare, was confident in my mock scores, but I knew my anxiety was going to cost me so much.

I screwed up CLAT, I got I a useless fight with my examiner and lost 20 minutes. Only attempted 108 questions. I was desolate. I don't remember NOT crying for a week. I was researching taking a drop as well as private colleges.

Then the AILET result came. I never prepared for it, and with the changed pattern I didn't have any hope. It was AIR 110, not enough to get me in the university, but enough to assure me of my worth. That I was not stupid. I realised that if I had just given CLAT with absolutely no stress and expectations, I could have done much better.

I couldn't bear looking at my CLAT score, asked my mother to check it when it was released. I ran to the other room. She screamed that I had gotten through. It was AIR 670. I would get me into HNLU Raipur. In that moment, one would expect me to be overjoyed. But I felt nothing but exhaustion. I was so, so tired.

It is now that I realise how grateful I should be, to have my future secure before my boards while all my classmates scramble to plan out their university applications for after. I could have done much better, sure. But I didn't.

I'll do my best there, that much I know. And im finally content.

It's result day and I am sad for my juniors

I gave a mock, and got a pretty good score, so now me happy happy :)

I'm also flabbergasted and doubting myself because how the heck did I get that, was the question paper too easy, I don't even give mocks, and maybe because I didn't attempt GK- you know, the usual 🙂

But I'm gonna ignore that part of myself for today :)

I went on a vacation for a bit and now I'm working on my moot. I had some troubles managing it with my vacation but now that I'm home I'm able to work on it with a clearer head. Let's hope this one's as good as my last one💗

What Does 25 to life Mean?

In legal terminology, a prisoner condemned to life imprisonment but entitled to parole after spending 25 years is said to be serving a “25 to life” sentence. It provides a means of establishing a certain minimum sentence without eliminating the possibility of parole release.

Although the sentence may formally call for 25 years of incarceration before granting parole, this may occasionally depend on the conditions of the prison population, a prisoner’s behavior, or other considerations. However, if parole is refused, the sentence can go on until the inmate dies.

The punishment may simply be stated as a “life sentence” in cases where the crime was especially atrocious, and parole is not an option.
