second, i love him going to great lengths to try and figure out the right way to go about getting or making the perfect ring for her
third, the thought of him and the others trying to hide a big secret from annabeth provides for the absolute most hilarious scenarios and explanations
but mainly, i love the thought of when he proposes, it goes down in a way that provides the perfect opportunity for annabeth to say “i told you years ago, seaweed brain, im never going to make things easy for you” and then she kisses him. and that’s how she says yes. 🥹
