Juno babies 9 days old
Babies have fur now and one was running around nest. I had a good look and quick photo of all the babies and here's what we have:
ps. Rabbits will not eat or abandon young that are touched, that's a myth. Mum is fine and not the slightest bit stressed.

also fun fact- spotted is allowed in rex and mini rex, being called Dalmatian. usually the gene, called Broken (aka. butterfly), is only allowed in a blanket over the back. It is named Spotted in Old English (English spot), Rhinelander, giant papillon (and US checkered giant) and dwarf papillon.

I made a giant moth plush. The moth is 18 inches tall. The wingspan is 48 inches long. The fabric is faux fur and faux rabbit fur. Has a weighted bottom. 141 as Rabbits (I am insane)
This post made me think about this.
For context I don't know much about rabbits. I did barely any research for this so take it with a grain of salt. If you know more about these silly guys gimme some wisdom.
Anyways, 141 as rabbits.
Soap- Netherlands Dwarf Rabbit. I was thinking of making him a Wild Rabbit or Hare (because I think the personalities are similar as well as the appearance), but I read about these guys and it was over. They're very smart and active, and can get pretty destructive if they're bored.
Ghost- Checkered Giant Rabbit. Was considering making him a Blanc de Hotot, but I wanted to pick a rabbit with similar mannerisms to him. They can be decently chill rabbits, but can be very aggressive if put in stressful situations. Also claustrophobic. And (as the name suggests) these guys are BIG. Like the maine coon's of rabbits.
Gaz- Mini Rex Rabbit. I wanted to do a rabbit that was calm and smart, but also sleek looking. I think these guys fill that bill pretty well. They also require a lot of socialization and like having friends :).
Price- Teddy Dwarf Rabbit. Like Gaz, I wanted to find a rabbit breed that was friendly and smart. Also a rabbit that has crazy hair. These guys are little which I think is silly. Tiny guy in charge of two big guys and one tinier guy.
I'll probably draw this later but Laswell is their handler. If she were to be a rabbit she'd probably be a Mini Satin Rabbit. They're calm and pretty smart. Also she would be a very sleek rabbit (like Gaz).

Personality: As a rabbid who isn’t interested in being “cute”, Lapri is a bit of an antisocialist towards certain groups of people. And she doesn't like being afraid. She just does what she has to do, and gets it over with so she can just move on with whatever she wants to do. She often threatens people easily as a way to demand or just get someone to leave her alone. And when she fights she likes to taunt and upset her enimeis. Lapri shows less emotions, she doesn't seem interested in girls who are into sweet and cutesy things, she gets disgusted and rather stays away. She rather hangs out with cool people. And also cause some trouble.
But even with a tough and punk-ish attitude, she does care about her friends and would help out during a fight. She even tries to warm up a bit and do some generosity like buying food for those who are hungry. It may be embarrising to her, but at least she cares.
Bio: Born alone in a forest, Lapri was forced to navigate life on her own. She searched for food, lived in a burrow like rabbits should, and took a bath on a lake. It was really rough for her to learn on her own without a parent to teach her. Thankfully she soon found care by another rabbid who happened to live alone in an abandoned cottage that she found. The rabbid was a sweet and nurturing one who lived a peaceful life. She was happy to raise Lapri as her own child. And she was happy about that!
That is until after going out to look for food to feed her, her adoptive mother got killed and eaten by wolves. Young Lapri was upset and felt alone again that she lost the only rabbid who cared and loved her. And that led her to other sources to help her survive, which was stealing food and living in the city. And also change from being naive to brave and full of anger. She didn’t care what she’s doing was wrong but she grew so tired of being naive and would rather live independently. But then one day after discovering a dangerous criminal organization and a group of women being kidnapped, she decided to take action and kill every member and their leader and free the kidnapped women. And ever since then, she decided to dedicate her life to secretly assassinating evil and dangerous humans to keep the city safe. To most humans she’s an outlaw and a criminal, but in truth to some rabbids she’s considered a hero. But she’s like a vigilante who comes out at night.

Her foster mother was a cottagecore themed rabbid. Before being a punk, she did like some of the things her foster mother does like cooking honey cakes and wearing daisies. She does keep a bit of the things her foster mother gives to her to remember
When she does a rabbid scream her scream is a bit high pitched but she can even go higher that would make somebody’s ears bleed!
Her black scarf is actually an old piece of cloth that her foster never used in a while for sewing
She happens to be a Checkered Giant looking rabbid

Do you have any thoughts on Polish/Britannia Petites?
I don't have many thoughts on Polish - I haven't met very many of them and don't know a lot of folks who breed them so I can't tell you what their personalities tend to be like or anything. I know my best friend had tried them out for a bit at one point and the ones she had were super skittish and not at all friendly, but I don't know if they tend to be like that or if those two just had particularly bad temperaments.
As for Brits...
Heeeeeeell no. Unless you enjoy getting torn apart by a tiny little demon creature, I would advise against getting one, especially if you're asking for potential breeds to get as a pet.
There are two breeds that are notorious for having the worst temperaments of all rabbits: Checkered Giants, and Britannia Petites. I have not seen a single show where at least one Brit didn't either try to kill itself or kill the judge (or at least try to rip the judge's fingers off) and all the others were either just as bad, slightly less bad, or just stayed frozen in a constant state of O.O the entire time. I have never met a Brit that has been anything other than either extremely skittish, extremely anxious, or extremely aggressive - and more often than not I've met Brits that are all three. I know there are some folks who are trying to breed for better temperament in their Brits, but it's very much an uphill battle, and I don't foresee that battle being consistently won any time in the near future.
#it sucks because i think except for the O.O brits are super cute and super pretty#and i know they can be awesome in the sport of hopping (rabbit show jumping).#so like. if they werent so Like That™ i'd totally get one as a pet or a hopper myself.#but alas. they are hellspawn :(
