as I did before I will answer one and then I'm putting the rest of the answers under the cut because this will perhaps be an even longer post. SOOOOOO!!!!
#5. What's the first song that comes to mind when you think about them?
There is... admittedly a lot of songs that I associate with Caleb. But the 3 that I will mention are Would That I by Hozier because it makes me think about this literal masterpiece of a music video.
Then Curses by The Crane Wives. Which..... hough. The. The whole song is him, realistically. But I am not going to post the entire lyrics in this post for it. HOWEVER THE LAST CHORUS IN PARTICULAR....

and the last song that I will mention is Bright by Lilli Furfaro as that is. Literally a fansong for him LMAO. This is actually a tough question because while I relate heavily to Caleb it's.... very hard to put the why into words.
He's very determined. He is the embodiment of burnt out gifted kid (no pun intended). He shows his affection through little gifts and quality time spent. He's willing to rip the entire world in half for the sake of those he loves. He really likes cats.
I think without getting into the nitty gritty details that is a Lot of my appeal for him.

THE ART THAT I SEE OF HIM IS NEVER BAD. I TRULY BELIEVE THAT. NOT ONE PIECE OF MEDIA MADE FOR HIM THAT I HAVE SEEN IS ONE THAT I HAVE DISLIKED.

While this would be an excuse for me to talk about widomauk I am instead forcing empire kids thoughts upon ye.
Caleb and Beau from the start were compelling. And their dynamic never stopped. They're the two humans of the group. They both came from less than ideal home-lives and then had horrible experiences with a person of authority in their lives. Neither of them cared that the other was a shitty person because the other understood. The other understood why they were a shitty person.
Early campaign empire kids is especially fascinating to me from Beau's perspective. Her trying to have a heart to heart with him only to have him walk away from her because he really does not like talking about himself in front of so many people. And her only response is to??? Just passive aggressively yell "WOOOOW. FUCKING COOL, CALEB!!!" At him!!! It is so fuckin funny but also shows that they are still learning to trust each other. Only to then be followed a couple episodes by Caleb apologizing and hugging her and for her to just??? Confusedly hug him back?? That awkward hug was EVERYTHING.
Beau: *schwacks her goggles over her eyes and then turns to Caleb* How do i look!? :3c
Caleb, without missing a beat: You look like a nerd.
I SIMPLY CARE THEM!! They are so stupid together but they are simply siblings!!! They care so much about each other. Caleb is literally willing to give up the safety of shelter for himself and the better half of the group in order for Beau to go on a date with Yasha. Beau sneaks Caleb into the biggest goddamn library which also happens to be the place where everyone hates her just in order for him to get some information. Caleb holding onto Beau for security while concentrating on a spell.
I could go on-- I won't.

#22. If you're a fic reader, what's something you like in fics when it comes to this character? Something you don't like?
OHHH MY GOOOHHHODD
When they make him speak German!!! Especially when they make him speak German correctly!!!! It is actually very rare that I see good dialogue written for Caleb where he will slip into Zemnian (which is. just the German language but renamed for the campaign). Especially writing him where he speaks Zemnian when he's tired!! Acknowledging that he doesn't think in Common!!!!!
ALSO WHEN THEY DESCRIBE HIS SPELLS!!! There's. admittedly there's one fic in particular that I am thinking of while typing this out but I will refrain from linking it.
But describing his spellwork and his little quirks that he does and... god. He's so so complex to work with but when you get it right??? Hough.

#25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?
I think I immediately liked him hHSDHGhGHDHG.
No but seriously I think seeing enough of Caleb from clips is what made me start watching it. I knew I was going to love him from the start. And that hasn't changed. He is, i think by now, one of my top 5 characters in media?? Like I do not realistically have a defined list but I can guarantee he has a spot somewhere on top 5.

People You Want to Get to Know Better
I was tagged for this by the lovely @blind-the-winds. You can find their post here. I don't have a full nine people in my taglist that haven't already done this, I don't think, so I'm sending them out to people I know have interacted with me and that I haven't seen tagged yet.
Current Book I'm Reading: I'm currently making my way through the Wordbearers Omnibus from Games Workshop's Black Library. Even though it's a Warhammer 40k series, it's giving me so much inspiration for the more... questionable clerics in Fangthane's Folly.
Last Song I Listened To: Far From Me by Chase Noseworthy. It popped up in my recommended while I was listening to my Titan playlist and it is an amazing Vox Machina fan song. I've popped it into my Emotional Songs playlist since it's a little too specific to put into the Titan one.
Currently Watching: My husband and I are currently going through our annual re-watch of the Netflix Castlevania series. We're having a bunch of fun pointing out the memes and generally just enjoying all the feels of the early parts of season 3. Also we are both so into Striga, it's unreal ^_^;.
Current Fic I'm Reading: I'm not really into any fandoms currently, so I'm not really reading any fanfic at the moment (not unless you count all of @druidx's Titan stuff, which I am re-reading a bunch of)
Next On My Watch List: Most likely a re-watch of Castlevania: Nocturne directly after the original Castlevania series, but after that I'm hoping hubs will indulge me in going through yet another re-watch of Alfabusa's If The Emporer Had a Text-To-Speech Device, including all the voxcasts and shorts and random segues. It's such a fun series. Even if you're not into Warhammer 40k, it is a really fun satire series. Just be aware that the creator had to abandon the project due to Games Workshop fuckery (if you guys thought the WotC stuff was bad... oof) and currently has no plans to return to it.
Current Obsession: At the moment I'm obsessed with two things: youtube disaster documentaries and my many, many WIPs, which now include a 'what if' AU thing I wrote the week before I took over the Destiny's New Servants campaign way back when that I plan to clean up a bit and possibly share. It's nothing more than a snippet, but , y'know. As for the disaster documentaries, that's just a recurring obsession that's randomly popped back up.

Lost Ones
There are stories I know.
A Russian superspy and an American archer, both carrying a lot of weight on their shoulders.
Two twins with perfectly pointy enough ears, both needing the other in their own way.
An Air Ashari and a human lord, both hopelessly in love with a twin.
They're all stories. I love them. I can't not love their characters, their details, their parallels and intricacies. But I also hate them. They make me want to rip out my heart so as to not feel this sadness, this grief, this rage.
And yet, if I ripped out my heart, I wouldn't feel the love that made me feel this in the first place. I wouldn't be able to enjoy watching Nat playing a prank on Clint, or seeing Vex make Vax laugh, or smile at Vax helping Keyleth find her own, or laugh at Percy verbally kicking some racist elven noble's ass for Vex. I think that's a lot sadder.
These characters have touched my heart. They've carved a home inside with laughter and smiles and love. My heart hurt to watch Nat still half-trapped inside Wanda's mind tricks in the QuinJet and at the farmhouse, and it hurt to watch Vex still needing her father even though he was never going to give her love. (Saundor was right about that, at least, but he was too fucking miserable to realize there's other ways to fill the hole Syldor left.)
And even with the hurt I smiled at Vex clearly worrying for Percy on the way to Whitestone, in that sad little carriage, and using her new arrowhead to fuck Saundor over, and I smiled at drunk Keyleth finding Vax cute in Westruun, and I smile every time Nat does 'cause she fucking deserves happiness, and I smiled at Keyleth and Vex following Vax to the Matron's temple, because they're the ones closest to him.
I don't know who knows this already, but I'm autistic. I'm feeling absolutely everything for these characters and I barely understand why. I'm falling apart at Chase Noseworthy's Far From Me (it isn't Do Not Go Far From Me because Vex did go far from Vax, even if only for a little while) and I'm falling apart at the final pause in Lilli Furfaro's Lessons, after the verse about Vax, and also Lilli's Nothing from Nothing and Tethering. I'm falling apart at Nat crying after learning about Clint in Endgame, and I'm falling apart at the theory that Clint truly did love Nat, because otherwise he wouldn't have been able to get the Soul Stone.
There's a burning sorrow inside me, and sometimes I want to scream.
I'd see the world burn just to bring the lost ones back.

I got tagged some time ago by @plothooksinc for a "3 songs that have been in my head like an earworm" thing (thank you 💜) and uh, let's see.
Born to Be A Killer (Chase Noseworthy); this artist made a few songs about Critical Role characters (VM and the M9) and I've listened to them a lot; my favourite is Keyleth's but for some reason Grog's song also takes a lot of place in my head. "I'm reborn as a protector/Of the little and the weak/In my love, my strength is tempered/On the wicked, my blade will feed" 💖
Dog Days Are Over (Florence and the Machines) has had my heart in a grip since Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 (even if it's so bloody hard to sing)
I listened to a radio episode hommage to Shane McGowan recently and it reminded me why I love the Pogues, and especially their duo with the Dubliners on The Irish Rover. Awesome song, awesome cover.
