Reader is super clingy like reader always wants to be by Charlie’s side and holding onto her in some way but reader starts to think that it’s annoying so reader starts to try and distance herself from Charlie and obviously Charlie notices immediately and talks to reader about it then they just like stay in the whole day and watch movies and Charlie plays video games whilst reader sits on her lap watching (make it super fluffy cuz I rlly need some Kota comfort rn 💀)

Summary: Your partners are all excited for halloween. They decide that you should all watch a horror movie. You agree but pretty quickly regret your decision.

The autumn night had a distinct chill in the air, and the excitement for Halloween was palpable in your household. Mia, Jessamyn, Shayna, and Charlie had all been eagerly planning for this spooky season, and tonight's activity was a unanimous decision: a horror movie night.

As you all gathered in the cozy living room, the warm glow of candles casting eerie shadows on the walls, you couldn't help but chuckle at the enthusiasm your partners showed for the occasion. You, on the other hand, had always been a bit of a scaredy-cat when it came to horror movies. Nevertheless, you'd agreed to join in on the fun.

The movie began, and almost immediately, your heart started racing. The eerie soundtrack, the suspenseful cinematography, and the unexpected jumpscares all combined to create a terrifying atmosphere. You couldn't help but hide behind your hands, peeking out just enough to see the screen.

But as the plot thickened, so did the dread in your chest. Soon enough, you were squeezing your eyes shut during the suspenseful scenes, your heart pounding in your chest.

You felt a gentle hand on your shoulder and opened your eyes to see Jessamyn looking at you with concern. "Hey, are you okay?" she whispered, her voice soft and reassuring.

You nodded, unable to find your voice. The truth was, you were far from okay, but you didn't want to ruin the fun for everyone else.

Charlie, who was sitting on your other side, leaned closer, a playful smirk on her lips. "Don't worry, babe, it's just a movie," she said, wrapping her arm around your shoulders.

But when the next jumpscare hit, you let out a small yelp and practically leaped into action. You scrambled from your spot, caught between Charlie and Jessamyn, and ended up in Shayna's lap.

Shayna raised an eyebrow, a faint smirk gracing her lips. "Well, well, someone's a little jumpy tonight," she teased.

You could feel your cheeks flush with embarrassment, but you didn't have the energy to protest. Instead, you nestled closer to Shayna, seeking comfort in her presence.

As the movie continued, you found yourself not only in Shayna's lap but also holding Jessamyn's hand. You were a bundle of nerves, but your partners seemed more than willing to provide the support you needed.

The movie eventually reached its spine-tingling climax, and you let out a shaky breath when the credits began to roll. You were relieved it was over, but you couldn't deny the thrill of having your partners close, offering their warmth and reassurance.

Mia chuckled as she turned off the TV. "Well, that was quite the adventure, huh?" she said, giving you an affectionate pat on the shoulder.

You couldn't help but smile. "Yeah, an adventure, alright."

As the spooky night wound down, you found yourself in the comforting embrace of your partners, knowing that even the scariest of movies couldn't compare to the love and protection you felt with them by your side. Halloween might be scary, but with your formidable group of partners, it was also filled with love and laughter.
