Introducing Ody's closest and most bestest friend Jedediyah! Jedi has been there since the begining from when there were just wee grubs to now as they set out on their journey. And Jedediyah HATES it so much! He hates that he has to leave his only ever home and go to some unknown territor, he hates how he and Ody have to put themselves in DANGER just for small solidarity chance they get to fuck some girl. This whole tradition is all completely medieval and he wants nothing to do with it.

Bentley got a much-needed redesign

For @crow.queen.art ! And her #NewOlympusAU. I love notnm ching more than my patron goddess Artemis and what she stands for. As an asexual myself I love that the Greeks really embodied the idea of women being able to be strong leaders and powerful enemies without the need of a man or even children. I love that she empowers women through her hunt and thst those women also take the pledge of living without a man in order to live immortal with her. Some notes about her design: I gave her some grey hair because I like to normally use a grey or white strip of hair to reflect someone as immortal. I wanted her to look both very old and very young and also reflect the silvery moon in her hair. I also wanted to go for a more viking or 'savage' woman look because Artemis isolates herself from Olympus because her cares and motivations don't lie with the rest of the gods but instead the protection of women, providing safe havens, and supporting the wilds so they require her to stay with the mortals. She wouldn't frequent inside many cities and if she did she'd be very disguised. Some long due art of my old character Mallory Campbell, Freakshow Extraordinaire on account of his appetite. He got self conscious about his appearance and started covering up to avoid conflict with people. While not the most social, he does enjoy gardening.

Casting to player. What the cast does this do... Nah.

For my game, I had to figure out a way to cast to other actors to get different information about them. In my case, I wanted to receive the player character to get the location and functions that are inside of it. This allows me to make a simplified version of the damage system in my last game to allow the player in this game to damage the duck.

First, I created a function that would trigger the cast to the player. I made the function void as I do not need to receive a variable output.

Next is the tricky step.

Next I need to make a pointer to the object/actor I want to get a reference to and give it a name (for example, "CharacterRef").

Next, I need to declare what object or actor I will be casting to, so for my example I am casting to the character.

From that, I need to gather the class of the player and tell the "GetActorOfClass" what world the player is in, as well as providing it with a static class reference (not sure what that is, but I presume its a reference to the character inside of the game that doesn't change?).

After all of that, I can now use that pointer (variable) that I created to call any function from the player :
