ALSO small update he's now an exorcist instead of a paranormal investigator!! Though he still does some ghost hunting as a guise for what he really does (since he's not a professional, proper exorcist and what he does isn't legal,, oops)

He's stressed near constantly, hard to scare, and loves heavy metal. This guy suffers from insomnia, not due to fear, but rather the aforementioned stress which is caused by his lack of stable income and worries about his future. Mortis is pretty hard to spook and it takes a lot more than paranormal activity to scare him, hence why he decided to get into ghost hunting. I dunno what the place where the events of Spooky Month takes place is called but like,, he went there after hearing about all the strange shit happening there in hopes of getting his big break. Also dis guy will go to weird lengths to find stuff. As in, breaking and entering and trespassing on private property... which he has done before. He has somehow not been arrested yet lol
