There's a disney villains tarot, but I was wondering, which characters would be the major arcana for a disney good guys tarot? I've got-
Young hercules for The Fool
Tumblr media
Yen Sid as The Magician
Tumblr media
Rapunzel for The Star, although I can see and understand the temptation for her to be The Tpwer as well.
Tumblr media
And Bruno Madrigal for The Moon
Tumblr media
I could also consider rapunzel and mirable as female alternates for The Fool since I feel they fit the character pretty well too.
And yes. Hades for Death. Because of course.
Tumblr media
Although I can also see Abuela , Gepetto or Simba as death, as all of them lose something important to them but then a new type of life opens up for them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, which characters do you have for which cards?

“My gift wasn’t helping the family, but I love my family, ya know?“
FULL NAME: Bruno Madrigal  BASED ON: Bruno (Encanto) FACE CLAIM: Fonseca   PRONOUNS: He/Him BIRTHDAY: July 23, 1971 CURRENT STATUS: Taken
Character Information
“You must use your powers to keep our family mijo. Your sisters and I are counting on you.” That was one of Bruno’s first memories. His mother told him that his family needed him. Even from a young age the potency and potential of Bruno’s magic were seen as useful and dangerous. It started out harmless at first. Guessing birthday presents right. Spoiling movies that just came out.  or telling his sisters he knew when their first tooth would fall out Bruno had a knack for seeing what was to come.  What started out as harmless and intriguing became overwhelming. Soon Buno couldn’t drown the thoughts out. He couldn’t tell apart paranoid thoughts from visions to come. He spent most of early childhood holding his sister’s hands begging them to help him understand what was real while his mother pushed him to use his gift more and more demanding he get a grasp on his potential while Bruno just wanted to feel normal.  The night they fled Colombia he still remembered how hurt his mother was asking why he didn’t see this coming.     Bruno’s sisters were his rock. Every good memory he ever had was with them. Whether it was sitting under a storm cloud with Pepa and making her laugh till the stormy clouds went away. Or pulling Julieta away from her work and reminding her to live a little his family was everything to him.  But no matter how hard he tried he seemed to always fall short of his sisters. While they were making a name for themselves showing off their powers and aiding people. Bruno became a harbinger of doom. People would come begging for his insight and all he could see in their future was disaster. It got so bad that he just stopped using his powers when he gave advice and they’d still blame him for their misfortune. They would misunderstand him ot just blame him. He would point out that someone’s fish looked sick and the second it died it was his fault.  Any misfortune was his doing and he had no defense. Still barely having a grasp on his precognition. Soon his mother forced him into the background refusing to let him go out and speak to people and ruin the reputation his sisters had earned   This didn’t mean his life was miserable. His family grew. Soon he had brothers to bond with and nieces and nephews to spoil. He didn’t care what strangers thought he didn’t care if he’d ended up a good sorcerer like his sisters. He had his family. That’s all he needed and he was going to do anything to keep them safe. He understand his powers and he’d keep them from danger.   When it was time for Mirable to receive her gift his mother pushed him once again to use his powers to see what it might be. How she might shape and change the family. By now he handle a decent handle on his magic but he still mostly saw ruin. He was beginning to wonder if his precognition was really a curse. That if he tried to look into the future he would seal someone’s fate and doom them. He insisted they should just wait but the second he saw his little niece talk about what her gift might be had to try for her. That night he saw the worst thing possible. His niece gets rejected. That night he begged the universe to change what he saw. ||He tired again and again all night seeing the same vision again and again until he was bleeding from his eyes.|| No matter what he did that’s what he saw. When his mother and sisters cornered him after the ceremony demanding if he knew anything he confessed. Heartbroken his mother said he failed his family for the last time and sent him into exile.   Broken, defeated, Bruno accepted his punishment. Living in a small shack outside of town.  Becoming a local boogeyman. The man who doomed your fate if you laid eyes on him. He rarely went out using his isolation to focus on himself and his craft becoming quite the talented sorcerer. Determined to be useful.  He watched his family from afar. Only comes back once to his mother after seeing a horrible vision of a coup. Begging her to move the family somewhere safe she tossed him out not wanting the family to see him.         Thankfully they survived the coup. So did he. Not knowing what else to do he followed his family. Watching them grow from afar as he tried to make some semblance of life for himself as a guidance counselor/ social worker. Helping his fellow misplaced souls find purpose. Still tormented by his precognitive abilities he struggles with separating reality from fiction.
✓ Selfless, kooky, determined
✖ Superstitious, overly cautious, misunderstood

Why Encanto Speaks to the Hispanic Community?
Good day everyone, back with another blog! This time, I will gossip about Disney's new star baby, Encanto. If you haven't watched it, please keep in mind this post will contain spoilers and, hopefully, this post keeps your tippy-toes up for the temptation to read the blog- encouraging you to watch the film first.
As my title says, why does Encanto speak to the Hispanic community? Encanto, the film was released on November 24th of last year, but it didn't hit the media's attention till it was on Disney+ in December. The movie was graphically gorgeous; the scenery is what steals everyone's eyes, so many colors, the realistic view of Columbia's beautiful nature. But this isn't the point; if anything, Encanto speaks to all minorities about the generation family trauma. Mirabel Madrigal, our adventurous main character, is the only one who didn't get a gift from the Madrigal family. Isabella, the "golden child" of the family, Luisa, the strong one. Imagine the magical experience of the Madrigal family, everyone, but one, blessed with gifts from the candle that saved their Abuela and the town from invasion years ago.
As it shows, it's too much, vulnerable, pressuring, and demanding. Each character has to fulfill Madrigal's name. Luisa is always up on her feet helping everyone in town, and the pressure she feels everyone's burden. Isabella, keeping the perfect child image to make the family's happiness before hers, almost getting married arranged by Abuela. Bruno, as many will stop me from talking about him. Many people spoke about his gift as a curse because he sees the future and everyone blames it on him because the prophecy of their future wasn't satisfying. Mirable feels outcasted because she doesn't have a gift, suppressing her emotions about it.
The audiences seem to understand the pressure of the Madrigal family, especially the ones who understand them emotionally and logically from their own experiences. In many social media, TikTok dominantly went viral speaking Encanto's message of family trauma; many say they relate. Many audiences who vocally spoke their emotional connection with Encanto were people of color.
The Hispanic went loud-speaking the truth of the family's burden in the Hispanic community on Tiktok. Especially immigrant families. Pinpointing Encanto's message, saying Luisa represents the firstborn child. The immigrant family relies heavily on their firstborn child to be the caretaker of their younger siblings, be the first to graduate schools, learn English, help their parents with language barriers, and know all the secrets. It's hard, as they say, and pressure to keep up. Isabella represents the perfect and favored child. Ironically, favoritism is natural and common in families. We all have seen it in movies, shows, and real life. I can admit I am the favorite child of my family, and it affects me negatively because it is hard to break the image, as it was hard for Isabella to break her till the end. Bruno and Mirable are significantly related to the children who are outcasted, unloved at times, and seen as a burden of the family. My brother watched the movie with me and kept bugging me that he is precisely like Bruno and how our parents treat him is like Mirable. The film has a lot of credibilities thanks to the audience speaking the truth of their experiences.
Encanto is more than characters singing and dancing; it speaks to people emotionally.

Canon!Evil Gothel Madrigal in the studio👏👏👏
Context:There is a plot in my story with the children of Bruno and Diana, and I will tell it in parts with the help of small comics.
Gothel came home late when everyone was asleep. The day before he heard very unpleasant sayings about his family (when I say "his family" it means Diana, Bruno and Albo, no more) from other Madrigals from the dialogue.Gothel had heard it all his life and didn't show it.But when he heard it one more time, his patience snapped and all the emotions he was hiding burst out.And Gothel, completely distraught, decided to show the whole family the power and strength of his gift, which he had been hiding and afraid for so long....
Here are more references of Gothel, I really like them^^
