“His choice?! Please don’t make me laugh. You also saw it too, didn’t you? Back in that subway, we all saw the Fables Dok-Ja-ssi possessed, didn’t we?! He, he wanted to be with us, he wanted to us to save…!”

[There are countless Fables within a person’s soul. The words we saw were simply a small part of that.]

Jeong Hui-Won shouted out. There was no other way for her to endure except to shout.

It was his choice? This, this was Kim Dok-Ja’s choice??

Lucy and Happy moments - Chapters 541 & 542

"Is it true? Is it…??" He finally replied while staring at his own attribute window floating before his eyes. "I'm no longer the regressor." The category of [Regressor] no longer existed among his attributes. His Stigmata had vanished, too – both [Regression] and [Group Regression]. He didn't possess any Stigma to turn back the clock. Winds began blowing in from somewhere. While letting the winds hit him, Yoo Joonghyuk looked up at the clear skies of < Star Stream >. He couldn't sense the gaze he used to feel all the time. No matter how much he sharpened his perception, he simply couldn't locate it like before. ⸢He was no longer the protagonist of the story.⸥ His story came to an end when the lone reader went away. Along with his final regression, too.

Oh man.

Oh maaaaaaan.

This feels like such a painful "be careful what you wish for" bittersweet sort of victory. If it can even be called a victory.

Joonghyuk will never regress again, just like he's wanted for thousands of years now, but of course it's right when he wants to regress more than anything. 😢

And oh man, the gaze that he's always felt from the universe, that lone reader who was always there with him not being there anymore. 😭 And there's something so very, very sad about reading the line "he was no longer the protagonist of the story" even though logically Joonghyuk has never been the protagonist of this story.

Ughhhh and we've still got 10 chapters of the epilogue to go but I'm just sitting here slamming my head on the desk because I swear they're just making everything worse, they literally changed Dokja's ■■ to Epilogue and scattered his soul across the universe.

And now they're gonna try crossing into different worldlines? To collect all these different Dokjas who don't even remember them??? Ahhhhhh!!!

Actually, the fact that Dokja actually did break up into many, many Dokjas leads back to the Library and the fact that it has so many versions of the same story, including ones Dokja doesn't remember. I think that this is why???

And like I said in the previous post, I'm wondering if this will eventually lead back into the fact that we are reading the novel and so perhaps we can maintain the worldlines by reading ORV.

That or this is just the buildup for all the side stories that apparently exist after the epilogue, which I have no clue if they continue the main story or if they're like missing scenes or if they're other characters' povs or what.

see orv is insane because at one moment you'll be reading through an incredibly profound explanation of the universality of art and then it'll throw you into the mind numbing grief for someone who isn't dead, only unreachable, and THEN it'll hit you with "The terrorist is Yoo Junghyuek, Conquering King, Savior of the World, 33, unenployed," ok 👍i am shaking like a small dog

From Volume 63 - Chapter 622 / Season 9 Episode 541. Koala has been recently rescued from the villainous Celestial Dragons of Mariejois. But being a slave since childhood, she's unfamiliar with any life outside of it, and the Sun Pirates are having trouble getting through to her that she's safe now. Suddenly, Fisher Tiger takes initiative.

*exhausted old man’s voice* I’m on chapter 541 and I haven’t seen a drop of comfort in over a hundred chapters. Cale has been jumping from war to war ever since the henituse battle. He hasn’t had a feast to eat in weeks, months. The god of death is looming over his back. There are vampires and Cale has turned into a child and has long left the pot in order to jump headlong into the fire. There’s demons. Divine beings? Everyone thinks Cale is being contracted by a God now? The White Star has talked himself into believing that Cale is his one true rival and has been transmigrating for a thousand years. We briefly got Alberu and Cale content but now it feels like a hundred chapters ago. I don’t know what to expect from this book anymore but Cale is now attempting to lead the Endable citizens into battle in order to kill himself, Cale Henituse. And apparently the white star looks like Kim Rok Soo. Oh yeah I forgot about the corrupted world tree that begged for Cale to save it, and then the entire illusion’ed empire that he tore down for the sake of it. He got over his worst possible fear in ten minutes. Oh and Alberu is now the descendant of the Ancient White Star or something. He went to Cale and revealed his incredibly important secret that could topple his reign and get him kicked out of the kingdom or worse, and Cale comforted him but it was on accident because Cale was busy trying to burn the writing on the stone into his mind (by recording) and because of that he unbuttoned his top button. He keeps unbuttoning it. Whore. Why haven’t I seen a fic where Alberu is cursing out Cale for it. Oh my god. This story is going to make me lose my mind.

It reminds me of how some view others that are younger than them. To have hope in things that are impossible. Blinding one to the truth, and not learn how to live with it.
