okay. you know there's this scene in chapter 275 where chu wanning rushes to the site of mo ran's trial on his cutesy "paper " dragon?
i love that scene so much.
cwn cries.
2ha is majorly from mo ran's pov, and before 275 you get plenty chances seeing mo ran wallow in guilt and struggle between loving cwn and confessing to cwn what unforgiveable things he did in his past life --
and cwn loves him, he's shy about his love, but since they established their relationship up till this chapter, cwn is mostly passive in the relationship -- i don't mean this as a bad thing, but you don't really see what cwn wants -- he's very very much permissive with whatever mo ran wants to do with him, and he doesn't say no.
but in 275, he fucking cries, he lies low on the cutesy paper dragon and weeps, because he fears for mo ran the judgement that would come onto him.
he tears up so little, like meatbun says everyone just thinks he's the unreachable "white moonlight" the most honourable person in the world -- but for mo ran he breaks down, gets really vulnerable, and at the end of the day he is just a lover freaking out for the atrocities their partner is about to suffer.
also in the scene where cwn consoles mo ran in his semi-confession/breakdown, and the ending scene where cwn flees back their home at the nanping mountains, cwn is leading taking charge in their relationship and it shows, how much he loves mo ran, how deep the love is.
their relationship and experiences are so fucked up but i love their love so much it's fucking beautiful.

Let's go!
I'm starting to wonder if this series will go over or under 296 chapters. That's how long Rave went for.
"Is this Mother?!!" Ziggy's about a week or two late on this reveal.
It's been some time since we've had to worry about Chronophages. Mother getting eaten by one is quite the twist.
I'm not willing to buy any series of logic that puts Shiki in the driver's seat of this choice. This better work how people think it should or we'll have problems.
The will of the liberal left: make parents for those deeemed unfit.
Not sure what it says that Ziggy made the Shining Stars and the EO made the Dark Stars. We didn't even learn their names... ZIGGY'S ON THE EDENS ONE?!?!?!?
I'm glad we didn't have to see the failed attempts to create the Shining Stars. None of us would be ready.
It's something crazy to know Witch really was his mom. Of course, Shiki is a week or two late on this hitting him. Or not, I don't know.

So, Chapter 2 consists of: chests, lots of chests. Bare arms, sleeveless shirts. No more stickers or CG to protect artists’ modesty. JK’s tattoos full out and proud (God, please hear my prayer: I hope the sleeves fall off of every one of Jungkook’s shirts). Normalizing naked Bangtan. I’m here for that.
But seriously...that’s not what this post is about.
I am late to the party but you have to admit, it’s been quite the whirlwind following June 13th’s Festa Dinner revelations. And I am sorry to be visiting a topic that’s maybe been talked to death. Sometimes my brain doesn’t let go of things in a timely manner. Sorry!
I think the release of the crushingly expensive collector’s edition of PROOF triggers me to relive that feeling I had immediately following the dinner.
After processing a few months now I have something to say about the song Yet To Come.

It took me a while to put the song in rotation on my playlists. I could not watch the song’s video very much after the premier. It took me a while to watch the music show performances they did immediately following Festa. I was that heartbroken... I could not make myself watch those music show performances for at least two or three weeks. They still make my heart drop because the expressions on their faces, knowing those were their last moments performing in front of Army for a long time [feels my heart stutter again]. I cannot fathom what the members felt knowing they were stepping away from performing in front of us.
Now I am ready to talk about this lyric: “back to square one”
I posted a few days ago about hoping BLACKPINK did well with their new comeback and I 100% meant it. I am not a fan of theirs and literally know nothing about their music and from what little I’ve heard and seen, it is not something I really connect with. I’ve seen the fan war crap on Twitter. It is what it is...it’s Twitter after all...and the farce of the VMAs last night was embarrassing.
But from what I understand, BlackPink was away for a long time and now they are putting out new music, so good for them and their fans. Their fans seem just as rancorous as Army when it comes to our loyalty. Their song skyrocketed on YouTube and was at the top of the iTunes chart until 2-year old Dynamite dethroned it.
My point is, Blackpink’s fans were waiting a long time for this come back.
Just like we are waiting for the day BTS will come back with new group music.
Another Korean artist whose fan base stuck around: PSY.
We really need to thank PSY because in my mind, as far as the western music market goes, HE is the one who paved the way. HE was the first Korean artist I heard played on mainstream radio with Gangnam Style. He brought Kpop to the world. That’s my opinion because that was MY first exposure to Kpop before I even know what Kpop was.
And then PSY was away for a while being a music industry exec and then he came back with That That with SUGA and that song is a smash and he seems to be very beloved in Korea and even across the world because that song did well and is still doing well.
My point in all this is, it made me start thinking about BTS and the lyrics of Yet To Come. I interpret the song as “we’ll be back at some point in the future, the past was really great but when we come back we know we will be more ourselves and starting from scratch.”
Now I get it.
Yes, as far as we know at the time of this post, the military obligation will be something they will complete in whatever way it ends up being whether one at a time or in groups or whatever, and supposedly beginning at the end of this year with Jin. They may be gone away for quite a while. We don’t know.
They are saying in those lyrics that they will have to start from scratch with their more grown selves, their more mature outlooks on life, their statements about whatever it is they want to tackle in their song lyrics. And the ever-present spectre of wondering if their fans will still be around. Back to square one.
I don’t think they understand that Army are still going to be here just like Blackpink’s and Psy’s fans were for them. There won’t be that much they’ll have build back up in that regard.
Armys, be prepared, we must be strong for however long it takes them to get back and embrace and support everything each individual member gives us/has given us in the meantime as solo work.

A bittersweet feeling lingered because I was expecting a tour or at least a few more concerts this year, but I am also so grateful for all the music, appearances and content we’ve received since.
Now that we know there will be a super-mega concert in October, the bittersweetness has mostly faded away. Run BTS Special Telepathy episodes also helped sweep that lingering feeling away as well.
If they are so inclined, maybe they will give us more information about what’s in store for their future. We may have another solo album dropped by October or at least know which one is coming next.
It’s just that the PROOF collector’s edition feels like the heavy vault door from the PROOF concept photos...the vault door closing with a deep and dense resonance. Makes my heart tremble a little however, knowing they had the freedom to take this direction means the world to me.

Am I the only one who thinks this is not going to end with Takemitchi dying???
Like yeah, I was worried that it was a 50-50 chance of Takemitchi dying after looking at the leaks, but now with the whole chapter out I find the chance of him surviving has increased.
Why I think so?
This for one instance had me thinking about how it was emphasized of even Takemitchi dying because of the curse. Mitchi might be similar to Shin, but his story is different. It won't end the same way as Shins.
(I loved Sanzus self analysis there. He did not deserve what he went through)
And then we have these two pages -
Mikeys dark Impulses (or the curse) retracted when Mitchi hugged him and called him a friend. Though I'm doubtfully about if they are completely gone or now. We know Mikey can be snapped out of those, it has happened on different occasions.
What i wanna highlight is the the last panel of Mitchi asking for Mikeys hand. The Trigger!!!!!!!
And then we have this. Takemitchi vowed to do it again and again and again, for how many times it's needed to save everyone.
Maybe I'm just being a bit too optimistic about this. But I think with this Takemitchi is going to travel further back in time and try to save everyone he can. (We have this theory floating around, but now it might just be possible!)

BUT!
It might just happen that he dies befor he gets to time leap and then we end the manga. (I won't be too surprised if this happens. Hurt and distorted and disappointed, yes. But not surprised)
Again, I just want everyone to be alive and happy and Mikeys suffering to finally end.

I have procrastinating on writing this since chapter 275 came out. So here we go.
Why did Takemichi's "friendship is magic" worked.
But Pah-chin's didn't.
Well, I have two theories about this, and no this isn't Mikey cares about Takemichi more or anything like that. He loves all his friends.
Theory no.1:-
It's because Takemichi is a Timeleper.
The root of the dark impulses is the curse of the homeless time leaper who was probably also cursed by his predecessor.
This curse seems to be linked with timeleaping. Maybe because this curse was given by a timeleaper it can be broken by a timeleaper.
You may be wondering why didn't the curse break earlier? This isn't the first time Takemichi tried to save Mikey. Well, I wondered that at first as well and almost scrapped this theory but then I remembered that Takemichi wasn't aware of the curse. At first, he thought the problem was Kisaki.
Side theory here: Remember how unusual Kisaki's death was? Truck-kun came out of nowhere.
Takemichi said this before
What if he cursed him? That's why he died? What if the "like it or not, this is the final resort" was not referring to the gun but the curse?
After Kisaki died, Takemichi found out it was Mikey's impulses that were the problem but he didn't know what that was. What if when he was aware of the problem his powers automatically reacted like with the curse on Kisaki?
Maybe he needs to know what he wants at that moment. He wanted Kisaki to die, that's why Kisaki got cursed and died. He wanted to break the curse that's why it was broken. Cursing and breaking the curse are linked to time leaping that's why Takemichi was the only one who could do it.
That is the end of this theory. The next one....
Theory no. 2:-
Friendship isn't the answer. The curse is not broken.
The main point of the curse is to make people suffer right?
So, what if the curse isn't gone? What if it wants Mikey to see what 'he' did and suffer more?
This is the first time in this timeline that "Mikey" killed someone close to him. Many people close to Mikey died, Mikey's parents, Shinichiro, Baji, Emma, and Draken. But none of the deaths were directly caused by him.
This is the first death of a loved one by his hands for this Mikey.
We know when his dark impulses take over he doesn't realize what is happening. He sees things but doesn't understand.
From what I can understand these dark impulses are a completely different entity and this entity wants Mikey to suffer.
How can Mikey truly suffer without seeing and fully understanding what 'he' did? He killed one of his best friends, one of the people he promised to protect.
In conclusion I think the curse wanted to make Mikey suffer more so it gave Mikey control for a while. And from what I can see it worked, look at Mikey screaming and crying.
I personally like the 2nd theory more. Can't wait for chapter 276. It's probably out already lol. Anyway, bye and have a good day.
