D'un bleu rempart
s'éloigne l'angoisse.
Une mer éblouie
se cache-t-elle au delà ?
Au sommet de ces masses
je guette une avancée de navire
à la proue impossible.
La mer ne peut plus être loin.
Longuement elle s'affirme.
Des abîmes achèvent les formes,
un grand espace nous retient,
nous réduit minuscule.
L'infime étreinte
des grandeurs passagères
s'installe en profondeur.
Et puis surgit cette attache
ce repos, ce fort lointain,
l'origine protectrice
bienveillante éternelle
présence sans concession.
La mer élève une forteresse
sans fondation ni ancrage
où règne la confiance
d'un empire décapité, libre !
