Face reveal.

A lesbian who loves to Veil. I have found hope, strength, and trust in the Lord through veiling. I am not sure if I will do this indefinitely but right now I understand its power and its purpose. It is my spiritual umbrella that reminds me that God can lead me out of the storm I am going through this season if I remain strong. I do not know where I am going to go from here. I am rittled with anxiety about my future. For the first time in my life, I have no clue where I am going to be in the next 6 months. For the first time in my life, I am submitting to the fact I have no control over my current situation. I have completely given it up to the Lord. I am protected, and I honor my trust in him.

Additionally, the veil is a representation that I am changing. That God is changing me and my heart. That it is God who is working on me. That I am in a state of metamorphosis. I am undergoing great changes, and I am not ready to be revealed. These changes were brought by God and it shows that I am a work a progress and I let him work through me.

I give my heart up to the Lord who blesses me. It is great to give him thanks and praise. May he continue to have mercy upon me and protect those across the world who most need his mercy.

Glory Be to El Padre El Hijo y Espritu Santo as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be a world without end.

yo can we actually talk about harrow's blood face paint and veil at the beginning of htn for a sec. i know a lot of people poke fun at it but for me as someone who grew up in a veiling religion with the constant threat of that veil being taken away it's like... not being able to wear that veil IN FRONT OF PEOPLE? that's like being naked before god. it is terrifying and traumatic to not be able to wear a veil or other religious garments. at the end of the day it's not even about god specifically, like i could meet god and even if he said to take off the veil i wouldn't, because it's for me. it's for her before it's for god. i felt for harrow so hard at that part of the book and i get that she's just a scrungle but i would love if we could portray occasionally the nauseating forced vulnerability and sense of injustice you would feel at your religion being stripped from you.

Update

My veiling journey has been going fantastic. I feel closer to God every day that passes. The storm is starting to pass. I am starting to feel alive again. I trust that God will continue to guide me and pull me through these hard times. I seek to know what it is I must do next. I pray for guidance. I pray for strength. I pray for wisdom. May I seek the Lord when I think. May I see the Lord when I speak.

Our Father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.

and may the guidance of the Holy Spirit pull me to what is true. to what is new. and that i may leave my fears behind and trust in the Lord to do what is good. what is just. what is right. I look to you now and forevermore

As it was said in Matthew 14:31

You who have so little faith, why did you doubt?
