Reasons your character may be tortured that don't revolve around trying to get information:

(for those who care about accuracy and don't have time to research psychological techniques)

Revenge: the torturer feels wronged by their victim, and wants to make them suffer.

To get at a loved one: the victim isn't the actual target, but hurting them will emotionally affect or demoralize the torturer's enemy.

To force someone else's hand: similar to the above, torture by proxy to force the torturer's target to turn themselves in, sign a binding document, or make an impossible choice.

To coerce a confession: the torturer needs to pin a crime on someone, and their victim is a believable scapegoat.

Propaganda: we've captured one of your strongest men, now watch as we make them break down and beg for their life.

I don’t have means to donate myself, so i’d like to take a page out of @befuddled-calico-whump’s book and extend the same option as them. If you provide proof of donation to Palestinian charities such as:

Boundaries:

I can draw some levels of gore, suggestive, nonsexual nudity, and most forms of whump.

I will not draw anything involving pregnancy/childbirth, emetophobia, or explicit NSFW.

Nudity will be censored or posed to avoid showing any genitalia, since I have no other socials and like my Tumblr account.

I also will not show anything involving misgendering, transphobia/homophobia, misogyny, or racism.

I can draw anthro to an extent. Actual animals (as in non-anthro/shapeshifters) are fine but I will not show them being hurt.

I will draw my characters, your characters, or characters from other sources (preferably not others ocs). If I am uncomfortable drawing a character from specific content or in a certain context (ie shipping art of an aroace character or suggestive with a minor, or characters from Harry Potter) I will gladly try to offer alternatives.

I can draw some complex posing/props/etc but reserve the right to ask for a slightly different concept if I feel I cannot accurately draw something for any reason.

They crouch in front of him, drawling his name like a melody, all sticky and sweet like honey. His back presses that much harder into the stone wall behind him.

"Do you want me to gouge your eyes out?"

The nonchalance of their delivery has his shaky lungs gasping for air.

"N-No..." — He doesn't, he doesn't, please don't.

"Then be a dear and keep those pretty things closed." — Their hand lands over his eyes, gently guiding his eyelids closed. — "Don't let me catch you sneaking a peek, okay?"

They smile still; he can feel their teeth grinning through the void enveloping him. He nods against their hand cupping his cheek as they watch him intently, swallowing down every word that claws at his throat to escape him in case they decide letting him keep his tongue should become a luxury too.

They give a couple light pats, then stand, purring, — "Good boy."

Whumpers who kidnap a normal person with the intention of "fake torture interrogation".

The whumpers know for a fact that Whumpee isn't a part of any illegal activity, but they're going to treat them as if they were anyway.

They torture Whumpee, asking them questions about a fake rival gang or other “important things” that Whumpee doesn’t know about.

They keep going, just to see how long it takes for Wumpee to start lying and giving bullshit answers to get a break from the pain.

Once that goal is achieved, the whumpers start pretending like some of Whumpee's lies and bullshit mean something.

For example, Whumpee gives an address for a warehouse and the whumpers act as if that is the actual location of a warehouse that this fake gang owns.

But of course, some of the “information” the whumpers have to call bullshit, and Whumpee gets hurt more. Slowly sort of gaslighting the whumpee into questioning themself, because "clearly" they know things about this gang they've never heard of, but they don't know how they know these things.
