naruto in that waterfall scene truly was like. the villagers have shunned me all my life and now they love me but its all fake cuz they just love me for what i have done to protect the village i HATE those fuckers, they can shove their autograph requests up their dumb asses and then he is like. well i got the solution. to solve all this hatred. to dissolve it and cure it. i'll just keep trying to become who they want me to be, if i manage to be the person THEY want me to be, they will love me and i'll keep their approval. this is the solution to all my problems ^_^ and then he like, hugs his dark self and it dissolves and the whole thing is done its like sfdfdgdgfs. okay, way to repress ur own feelings and do the exact same thing that youve already Been doing all ur life so far LOL. literally victim-blaming ur own self for what others have put u thru but alright. 👍

Day 14: Water

Odette loves a water feature. Her garden alone has several! So, when she meditates it is not a blank field she 'sends' herself too but rather one of the fountains littered amongst her carefully cultivated garden. Floating among the fallen petals and water plants she tends to. Sometimes, when she drifts away from meditating into day dreaming she thinks about herself being tended too by some divine gardener.

Had Traitor Magolor almost done except for the legs too, lol. My brush settings were way better on this one; I just did the coloring process kinda backwards and was really stubborn about not pulling it into csp to make the EX recolor better, but I still like the results ok. I just had a quick thought:

You cannot and will not convince me that that shadow trooper telling Crosshair “You had your chance to be one of us. You chose the wrong side.” is not Tech being angry/upset/whatever that Crosshair chose the Empire over the Batch, not that he resisted conditioning to be a shadow trooper.

#I MEAN COME ON #first of all the accent sounds different enough from a regular trooper to be noticed through the voice modulator #especially in that scene where he speaks to Wolffe #(also Wolffe 🥺🥺 come home 🥺🥺)#second of all he framed it as a choice #when clearly they’re forced and conditioned into the roll (from what I can tell please feel free to correct me!)#like also this shadow trooper has HELLA plot armor I mean hello??#also I am THOROUGHLY convinced that these shadow troopers are the phase 1 dark troopers from battlefront lol #the phase 1 dark troopers were LITERALLY created during the early years of th empire and were made using veteran clones #and giving them cybernetic parts #(up to like 70% of their bodies wow)#which is also horrifying when you realize that they’re now literally becoming the things that the people who hated them said #‘meat droids’#ugh #tbb #tbb spoilers #tbb s3e7 #tbb s3 spoilers #the bad batch season 3 spoilers #the bad batch season 3 #hello there talks

yurikuma arashi is probably ikuhara's weakest work imo but i HAVE to give it credit for slapping the word yuri onto fucking everything

#im not saying its terrible btw its just. well its no utena or sarazanmai. but it does have a framed photo that says Yuri Friends #i too am ''yuri friends''#ik it means lily too ofc but something tells me they didnt mean it in the lily way idk #i think my biggest gripe w yurikuma though was the oversexualization. and ofc i KNOW that it was kind of the point #in some respects at least #but i think there can still be ways of portraying than in a more tactful way #like utena's approach was better i think. it didnt have to be like super in your face but still made it absolutely devastating #while in yurikuma's case its honestly hard to differentiate it from just actual fanservice. it doesnt seem distinct from it at all #so i feel like it couldve been more polished... less gauche?#i get what they were going for yeah but i also dont think you can brush of critique of it w just ''well its on purpose'' yknow?#maybe if they had more time to flesh it out it couldve worked. yurikuma felt a bit limited w its 12 episode run #unlike sarazanmai which absolutely nailed it w a short run #but i do think the payoff at the end was good. like the story of the forest girl and the sky girl (or something) breaking the barrier #that was pretty cool like it had some real stuff going for it too so its like. not unsalvageable lol
