in my fic i've officially decided to make wyatt the campground host and i just. can't stop thinking abt it. he'd be so eager and enthusiastic!! it's the perfect job for him. he'd wear his park ranger uniform shirt everywhere, unbuttoned or layered over hoodies and under sweaters. his favorite part of the job would be getting kids involved with nature, seeing the wonder in their eyes as they explore the forest and observe the wildlife. at the same time, though, he'd work to protect his pack's territory, keep campers away from the borders. ensure everything sacred is kept safe.
Hey in your personal opinion do you think you can do seasonal work and/or conservation with a pet like a cat? I’ve listened to some people about seasonal work before and it didn’t sound like it’s doable with a pet. My boy travels well but where he would stay and who would take care of him when working in remote areas in extended periods of time alway alluded me. You might not know the answer to my question but thank you for taking the time to read !
Hi!!! :) The answer to this question really depends on what kind of job you're looking for, but unfortunately in my experience, the answer is generally no. I have known folks working for recreation/concessions companies in parks to have an ESA or service animal, but they're pretty few and far inbetween! Most of my coworkers with pets have had to find a trusted family member or friend to look after their animal(s) during their season. I'm sure there are outliers, but with specifically the jobs that I've taken, I really don't think I could have taken care of a pet.
Also, I just saw your other ask, & do not even worry about it! Reblog or like spam doesn't bother me at all, I'm glad you're enjoying yourself! :)
even if it’s not officially summer but the season is just about here ! we wanted to get our artists and staff excited for it and what better way than to bring you all along for a well known summer entertainment. a fun little trip away from civilization and into beautiful nature for camping, renting out grounds just for us for not only fun but also team building — pitching tents together, making a campfire and cooking up food, you’ll expected to work together to make your camping experience run smoothly. but there’s more things to do as well like rock climbing and swimming in a beautiful, refreshing lake nearby among many camping activities !
all resources will be given, it’s up to you guys to utilize. and we have also given everyone the option to use either the campsite’s small cabins or classic tents. and a special forecast had caught our eye; a highly likely meteor shower to grace the skies ! so pack what you need and let’s have some fun !!
→ if anyone wants to spice things up like assigned tent/cabin roomies or something let me know ! also be sure to tag anything event related posts (starters, outfits, etc.) with infinite:event ♡

Fallen Leaves in Pinnacles National Park by Mark Stevens

A view looking to the northeast at the Pinnacles Campground Store in Pinnacles National Park. My thought on composing this image was to get down low and then use the LiveWiew LCD screen to capture a look across these fallen leaves.
Happy Gotcha Day, Fruitycake!
“Fruitycake may think that we saved him from that shelter with over 600 dogs. But the truth is, he saved us.”
This is Peanut Butter Brickle. Things have been a lot about me lately. Obviously, it’s hard not to be the center of attention when you have this much handsome. But I have been taking up a lot of the persons’ time. Not because I want to feel bad. It’s just the way things are right now.
But today, it’s time to step back and make it a good day for my little brother, Fruitycake.
