THE HAUNTED CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL - CAMPBELL HOUSE INN - Lexington, Kentucky. Built in 1951 as the Campbell House Inn, the Crowne Plaza Hotel is said to be haunted by the spirits of several women that were rumored to have been murdered here. A variety of poltergeist activity has been alleged by guests and staff. Phantom blood stains from a stabbing murder scene refuse to be removed. Shadow figures have been reported. A playful “ghost child” has also been supposedly seen.
