aaahhh I think I'll go with love potions, just because of the preparation behind them and how malicious the intentions are too, also a lot of things can go wrong with it, like using too much, or giving it to the wrong person. Whereas the hypnotic eyes probably work the same all the time, it's more tragic for the person who has them depending on whether they can control them or not.

Also, the concept of a love potion creeps me out more because it is kinda real (?) Idk if the potion works, I don't think so, but people in my town have tried to do it every once in a while, so... knowing people are actually capable to use "potions" kind of gives it a morbid and exciting feeling.
