Honestly, I feel like Ichiro would be the most obvious with his fanatics. He's already been shown in canon to be an unabashed anime / manga fan so can u imagine how he'd act towards you??!?!?!

Ichi has a binder full of prints for your official art that he keeps in the Odd Jobs Yamada office. He looks at it in downtimes, kicking his feet and squealing as he stares. Ichi also scours second hand sites to try and get merch for cheaper than official. He owns pins, stickers, plushies, and SO, SO MANY KEYCHAINS.

He honestly is the one most likely to write/read fan fiction too LMAO. Shipfic, platonic fics, reader insert- it doesn't matter. Don't tell his brothers, they'd be absolutely mortified.

Ramuda secretly runs one of those Twitter accounts that take pictures of their mochis/nuis in different irl settings!!! He MAKES little outfits for a nui of you and is so proud of all of them.

For every little cafe he goes to he always makes sure to take a pic that implies cute little nui of you is the one that just demolished 3 pieces of cake.

In the times where Ramu was still working with Chuuoku, he'd pull your nui out of his pocket and talk to you while he's scheming ;_; He has the image in his mind that you're the only one that would ever accept him as he is.

Saburo is the most embarrassed about having a comfort character. The most obvious he is about it is having you as his desktop background but other than that he is too embarrassed to go out and buy merch. Ichiro buys him a lil plush of you for his birthday and he starts to cryyyyy.

Hitoya keeps an acrylic standee of you on his office desk but he faces it towards his clients LMAO. He comes across as so unserious.

Locations in Sapporo

things in my personal life has calmed down somewhat for the time being so I figured I'd write up an easy lore post that I completely forgot I could make so here we are

I wanted to list some common locations found in Sapporo as featured in Vocal Android! I haven't actually talked about the setting too much and while I'm kinda bad at designing locations, I figured I could at least talk about them a little

But, yeah, I'll do my best to explain, so some lore under the cut?

Crypton Laboratories HQ/Crypton Towers: The place where the CVs live and where Meiko and Kaito work. A huge white, gray, and cyan building shaped like a C if you look at it from above, it's home to Crypton's various research labs. The building has floors entirely dedicated to be Miku, the twins and Luka's living spaces, and they each have their own color-coded rooms and living areas. There's a recording and dance studio in the building for the CVs to do their idol work and music playing, as well as a virtual reality training room. There's also the CVs' very own superhero base of sorts, which Gumi helped design, and allows the crew to oversee the city in case danger makes itself known (it's also a convenient place to hang out and take a nap). There's also a sizeable garage below the building, where Rin keeps the road roller.

Kenmochi Academy High School: Miku, Rin and Len's school. A large, clean campus made of three V-shaped buildings with their points pointing towards each other and hexagon-shaped windows. A pretty high-bar school with a lot of recent technology, it's one of the more popular and well-known high schools in town (and thus, an excellent candidate for Meiko's goal of having the CVs interact with humans their age). It is headed by Principal Sasaki. (Current Student List: Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin and Len, Kobayashi Matcha, Masaoka Azuki, Yumemi Nemu, Hibiki Lui, Akira Kano/Arsloid, Otomachi Una, Sato Sasara, Suzuki Tsudumi, Kokone Aime, Kizuna Akari, Futaba Minato, Hoshino Ichika, Tenma Saki, Hinomori Shiho, Mochizuki Honami, Koharu Rikka (formerly), Suzune Ring)

Ichikawa Academy High School: Gumi's school, a high school on the eastern side of the city. It's a more "normal" high school, less flashy than Kenmochi and looking more typical, but still has a few good programs to its name, including its science program (which Gumi tries to participate in). (Current Student List: Megumi "Gumi" Nakashima, Kotonoha Akane and Aoi, Tohoku Zunko, Gahata Meiji, Kamishiro Rui, Kusanagi Nene, Tenma Tsukasa, AiSuu, Tsuina-chan)

Utahako Elementary School: The local elementary school a block or two away from Kenmochi. It's a modest little elementary school, having been newly refurbished from an older building. Many of the students that go there end up graduating to Kenmochi later. Kiyoteru teaches here. (Current Student List: Kaai Yuki, Oliver Twitchell, Rana, Macne Petit, Tohoku Kiritan, Otomachi Unagi, Ryuuto Nakashima)

The Macne Cafe: A fresh-looking little internet cafe that sits in the town plaza and is the CVs' favorite hangout spot. Established by the Macne Family, it's become slowly but surely known around town for its delicious green apple cheesecake and desserts. Nana has been trying various ways to spread their customer base further.

The V5: A swanky nightclub and bar that is also in the plaza, run by four friends: Amy, Chris, Kaori and Ken. Many of the adult characters come there to drink and chat a bit.

UTAU Studios: A record label company and radio studio stationed in the industry hub of town, notable for its large staff and loooong list of talents. The studio runs a daily radio broadcast that's fairly popular, and their top talent is Namine Ritsu (or it was, anyway).

Sapporo University: The local college. A bit of an older building since it's been there basically forever compared to a lot of the rest of futuristic city. Has a small, colorful dormitory community next to it where students stay. (Current Student List: Galaco, Po-uta, Tsurumaki Maki, Shirosaki Yuudai; Utatane Piko isn't a student but he lives there)

Kamukura Shrine: A humble shrine that's only a little ways away from the beach, and is where most of the cast goes for holiday celebrations (such as New Years). It's headed by Kigashima Sourin and his protégés, Kurono Takehiro, Wakamatsu Akashi, Aoyama Ryuusei and Shirakami Koutarou, who are training to be proper priests. They also have their shrine maiden, a fussy teenage girl named Lumi who claims to be a jellyfish kami from the sea. Her antics tend to bring a lot of visitors.

SEKAI Auditorium: A venue a few blocks away from Crypton HQ and the main place where Miku and friends perform locally. Very spacious and known to host tons of acts, including smaller ones like local bands, singers and theater shows. Also functions as a sort of convention center at times. However, it's tendency to get raided by supervillains (mostly in pursuit of Miku and co.) has given it a bit of a weird reputation.

The Nebula: A recently-established nightclub in the plaza run by American DJ CYBER DIVA (and her partner CYBER SONGMAN), who is also the headlining act of the place. Used to have a bit of a rivalry with Miku, but they're both over it. Gets a lot of younger customers than the ones at the V5.

Dr. Momone's House: A modern house in a quiet neighborhood next to the industrial part of town where Dr. Momone, Momo and Defoko live. Their neighbors consist of Yufu (who lives down the lane), Eru (who lives at the far end of the lane), Tsukishiro Hakupo and his servant bot Kunishiki (who live next door) and Sensei.

Gumi's Apartment: Gumi, Gakupo and Ryuuto's small apartment in a building not too far from Crypton HQ. Not the nicest apartment that ever was, but it's homey.

Gin no Hana: A old-fashioned restaurant that has reasonable business and is popular due to the comfy atmosphere. Managed by Ginsaki and his wife, Koharu.

The Old Soul Theater: An old theater in town that's mainly still in the city for the sake of preservation, but still has small plays and acts now and again. Has been turned into an acting school of sorts by Miriam Stocks, a theater connoisseur.

Ruko's candy shop: A hole-in-the-wall shop in an alleyway managed by Yokune Ruko, where they sell candy, snacks and cheap cups of drip coffee. Totally not shady in the slightest. Is almost constantly out of coffee-flavored hard candy because Ruko keeps eating it.

Meiko's apartment: Meiko's home, a simple apartment in a simple complex where she crashes after a long day at the lab. The CVs have never been to it.

teacher rei: loved by his students for his lightness, but well known for being a bit scary..and pop quizzes. no one knows him outside of school and he def has a side job

conman jyuto: just doing the same damn thing he's been doing as a cop lol

monk hitoya: HUH....this is the one i've had the most trouble with...he doesn't have the damn pompadour anymore and he's not greedy

vocalist dice: uhm instead of visual kei he would do something closer to the style he usually raps in. a lot of penis party music. struggling to get popular

lawyer ichiro: like matt murdock. only taking cases for those who are really innocent, unlike hitoya who would take the big money cases (and the ones he thought really needed it like kuko and jyushi) and therefore not being R I C H but feeling fulfilled

Late for work ✨

Rosho and Sasara x reader, you just refuse to let them go by delaying their release as long as possible.

Warnings: none in particular, maybe something slightly suggestive, but nothing explicit.

Rosho

° You look at the clock on the wall and the clock on your cell phone successively, in a few minutes he should leave for work. He is already ready, having breakfast with you while he corrects some homework for his students. A tense silence flooded the room, only the passing of leaves and his pen is heard.

° you sigh before taking another sip of your tea, you look at his cup and see that he already finished everything and even ate his toast. He starts to pick up his things and put them away, it's a little before usual time, so you rush to finish your drink so you can see him off at the door.

° You approach the hall with an anguished look, squeezing your hands anxiously. Seeing you that way, he can't help but copy your sad face. "You can't always do the same, you know I'll be back!" He doesn't want to separate either but if he says so he knows you'll find a way to make him stay.

°"I know that but, today is the day you come home late... and... tomorrow you have to go with Sasara and Rei to practice" making puppy eyes, you put your hands in a sign of supplication. "No, don't do that to me!" The briefcase that he was holding firmly in his hand loosens a bit, he has very little resistance when you start acting like that because he is not very strict with you and you always manage to make him less and less so.

° "It's still a little early look…" you point to the clock on the wall and even though you say early, it's only a few minutes and you both know it. Rosho draws a deep breath, letting his shoulders and the briefcase drop. Resigned, he opens his arms for you but avoids making eye contact, instead he looks at a random spot to the right of him.

° Smiling at your victory, you rush to fill his face with kisses, holding him by the neck so that he is at your height, even so you stand on your toes to reach his forehead. A delicate blush adorns his cheeks and, pretending to look at it, you try to take off his glasses.

° "No, I'll really be late…" he says looking at you fixedly, he already knows that when you take his glasses it's to force him to look for them and that never ends quickly. One of his hands moves to your face and cradles you.

° "So you can do that?" You smile preparing "that?... So I can go to work without you missing me?" He waits for your response, but he only does it as a formality and he smiles too before placing one hand on the back of your neck and one on your back to pull you back.

° he curves over you, in such a way that you must lift one leg for balance, trusting his grip, otherwise you will fall easily. Giving you a very passionate and slow kiss, you can't help but interrupt him to laugh loudly on his lips. Pressing against his body you enjoy the moment.

°Every time he does that you feel like you're one step away from melting, being as shy and reserved as he is, you don't know when he took the initiative to say goodbye like that on especially long days, but you enjoy them so much that you don't really care .

° When he is about to separate, you start the kiss again, holding tightly to his back, causing him to laugh too. A couple of strands have messed up from his neat hairstyle, falling over his eyes and tickling your cheeks. On these occasions he wonders what the farewell would be like if he were away from home for a few days.

Sasara

° You open your eyes with difficulty, it's early in the morning, but Sasara is already dressing in front of the bedroom mirror. Waking up with difficulty you stretch your arms yawning exaggeratedly.

° "Huh? Did you wake up sweetheart? But I almost didn't make noise" speaking almost loudly is drilling your brain. "Shhhh, you're yelling" you say trying to lower your voice as you crawl across the bed to where he is.

° Observing your movements through the mirror, despite your complaint, he keeps shouting "ahh! Are you going to say good morning to me?" He turns around to give you a chaste kiss on the lips and immediately goes back to arranging his wardrobe.

° Today he would film a segment for a program and they had made an appointment at a very early hour, that was not very unusual, the strange thing was that given the remoteness of the place and the duration of the filming, he would only return for the afternoon of the following day. You don't want to bother him with his work, but you know that even though it's only one day, you're going to miss him so you want to take advantage of every remaining moment.

° Still behind him, you run your hands up his back, caressing him and pulling at his clothes. "Hey!" He rearranges his shirt and you undo a button on his jacket. "You had put it on wrong…" you pretend to help him and undo the knot of his tie. Without losing his smile for a second, he tries to fix his clothes as fast as you ruin them, but he doesn't succeed.

° he takes a step away from the bed and looks at you funny through the mirror, forcing you to stand up to reach him. Complaining, you stretch a little more and catch him by the waist, hugging him with the intention that he can't keep moving.

° "ohh? You don't want me to go?..." You respond with an exaggerated groan against his back. You stand up and kiss his shoulder causing him to laugh. "Why does it have to be so long?" you ask in a cracked voice, conveying your sadness.

° You kiss his other shoulder and you reach his neck kissing him too. He gets so excited when you put affectionate that he can't help but scream. He turns in your arms to face you so he can kiss you gently. "Don't be like that… I promise I'll be back as soon as possible, I'll also bring those sweets you like so much" his tone calmed down and you know he means it.

° You don't want to distress him so you try to give him your best smile, but instead he has his eyes open and is trying to reassure you by giving his words seriousness and that breaks you. You put your complaints away and just kiss him, leaning your body against him, taking a deep breath as you give up.

° Or so he thought, your hands return to his clothes and you ruin his shirt once more, but you do it so slowly that he even feels sorry for you. Walking away from you, he smiles playfully, taking off his jacket and unbuttoning his pants "I can let a train pass, don't you think?..." He says before throwing himself on the bed on top of you, crushing you for a brief second before kissing you intensely, keeping you firmly under him.

° Both laugh under the touch of the other, but slowly the laughter turns into gasps and moans when their caresses become daring and lustful. They easily forget the schedule, giving in to their desires once again, despite the fact that they had already said goodbye in this way the night before.

I saw a few people saying they didn't recognize a lot of the vvv music characters and I think the reason is it's a very, very talkbank-heavy show!

A few characters are definitely new, but one reason why you might not recognize a large portion of them is that in the lineup, eight of them started out as talkbanks, seven only have a talkbank, and there's only one single character that doesn't have one.

On Voiceroid and CeVIO engines

You'll see that several synths here are from Voiceroid, which is a pretty old talkbank engine. If you're interested in Voiceroid characters like Yukari and Akari, Maki, Akane and Aoi, and others, producer GYARI was making iconic and comedic songs with them before they got songbanks, and I'd definitely recommend you check them out. A couple CeVIO related notes, several characters here have the CeVIO logo by them because they have CeVIO talkbanks, not necessarily singing banks, and Voisona is CeVIO's new engine. Onto the character explanations!

Vocaloids and Vocaloid-related characters / UTAUS

Vocaloid: Zunko. Originally created to promote disaster relief in the Tōhoku region, she's since gotten Voiceroid (talking) and Vocaloid (singing) banks, as well as a 24-minute animated movie. She has a Zunda mochi (green soybean rice cake) motif.

Itako and Kiritan are Zunko's sisters, introduced as UTAUs with newer voicebanks on Neutrino. Itako dreams of restoring her power of the nine-tailed fox, and Kiritan is a gamer.

Zundamon is Zunko's pet. They recently gave them a human form and a Neutrino voicebank, as well as multiple talkbanks.

Vocaloid: Sora. One of the only V5-introduced characters. Made a good impression by having a design where she looks like a pirate as well as a pretty, flowy one. Released with a Voiceroid talkbank.

Vocaloid: IA. Started out as a Vocaloid and was later released on multiple CeVIO engines. The CeVIO Vocaloid.

ONE (pronounced oh-neh, like how IA is ee-uh) is IA's sister. She's only on CeVIO engines.

Vocaloids: Gakupo, Gumi, Una. You probably know at least Gakupo and Gumi. Una, just because she's a little more recent, is a younger, eel-themed Vocaloid from the same company as the others (Internet Co.). She also got a Voiceroid bank.

Vocaloid: flower. Famous, androgynous. Got two Vocaloid banks before recently getting one on Cevio AI.

Vocaloid: Yukari. Moon rabbit theme and lots of voicebanks. A handful of famous songs, like There's Supposed to Be a Cheat Code for Happiness and Chururira・Chururira・Daddadda! Did some talking in a few older songs because she was a decently popular Vocaloid with a Voiceroid talkbank.

Akari is Vocalomakets's other Vocaloid, with a starlight theme. She also has a Voiceroid talkbank.

Vocaloid: CUL. She isn't part of the lineup, but she has sisters who are, so I'm covering her. Another Internet Co. Vocaloid, CUL started out as the mascot for the show VOCALO Revolution, which aired interviews with Vocaloid developers and producers, and showcased PVs. Videos featuring CUL used VY1's voice before she debuted as a Vocaloid herself.

ROSA and WhiteCUL are CUL's sisters. CUL was revealed to have several sisters, each named a variation of "CUL," except for ROSA. So far, only these two have designs and banks, and currently, they only have talkbanks, although ROSA is planned to get a SynthV voicebank.

You likely know Ritsu, a VIPPERloid UTAU, who went on to get voicebanks on DeepVocal and ACE Studio, as well as several talkbanks.

SynthV characters

Tsuina-chan is an ogre hunter. She started out on Voiceroid and eventually got a voicebank on SynthV.

Seika is the district mascot for Seika, Kyoto, Japan. She was a Voiceroid who later got a SynthV voicebank.

Rikka, Chifuyu, and Karin are three high school students in a music club. Rikka's character is up to interpretation, while Chifuyu plays drums, takes photos with an old camera, and dislikes sweetness, and Karin plays bass, likes archery and cute things, and dislikes matcha. All three have CeVIO talkbanks.

Akane and Aoi are twin Voiceroid talk vocals who went on to get SynthV voicebanks.

Maki is another Voiceroid vocal who got a SynthV bank. Like Kiyoteru, she also has a band comprised of characters that don't sing.

CeVIO singing characters

Sato and Tsudumi are friends who don't have a lot of interests in common. Sato started out with song and talk banks, whereas Tsudumi started out talk-only and got a songbank later on.

Talkbank only characters

Yuzuru is described as "kind and gentle, but rumored to be scary when angered," and "maybe not human." He started out on Voiceroid.

Maron's appearance is based chestnuts and autumn themes. He's currently only on A.I.VOICE.

Jashin-chan is from the series Dropkick on My Devil! She's currently only on VOICEPEAK.

Tsumugi is the cousin of Vtuber Kasukabe Tsukushi. She's only on VOICEVOX.

Nemu, and the engine her talkbank is on, CoeAvatar, have heavy NFT involvement.

Samatoki Aohitsugi is so Underrated

Tonight before the bed I’m thinking about Samatoki Aohitsugi. I want more flashbacks on Samatoki’s backstory. “Mom killed dad and suicided” he says in a breath in his songs as if that’s easy. “Abusive alcoholic father figure” he says.

No, no, please get deeper.

I want to know more of you. Your family. Your household. How was your family house like? Do you still live in the same place the incident happened? Did you change apartments after Nemu left? Do you cook for yourself even when your sister is not around (in the present timeline, after you sort of processed the initial shock)? Do you shower in the morning or before the bed (or both)? What’s your favorite brand of drinks and cigarettes? How did you cope with such a huge trauma? How could you process loss of your mother, your father and then somehow your sister and then Sasara and then Ichiro— I don’t even mean SasaSama or SamaIchi in a specific ship way for this context. It can be romantic or platonic but what matters is that they were once Samatoki’s best friends and partners and he trusted them with his heart and invited them to his house and cooked for them and he even was starting to gradually prepare himself for Ichiro and Nemu potentially getting together. He trusted Ichiro that much and then, although neither Sasara, Nemu or Ichiro “betrayed” him, Samatoki was betrayed in his own perspective and there was no way of him finding out that they were hypnotsized.

In the end, Samatoki lost his mother, his father (we know that he despises his father and his father was abusive but in the end it was a person he lived with and it must have some sort of impact on him too), his sister, and two of his best friends. It sounds like a nightmare. Samatoki is a family-person and so am I. My family and best friends and partner are my priorities in life (along with myself and my career, but that’s irrelevant). Samatoki lost all of them in such a short time interval.

How on the earth is Samatoki still functioning?

How could he ever trust Jyuto and Rio? How could he ever eat food offered by a random dude living in woods and even after he knew what the food was made of, he always accepted the offer because he doesn’t want to make Rio sad?? That he is just nice and considerate about a grown ass man’s feelings like that??? He still has the feelings of responsibility and respect to face Jyuto and apologize for losing DRB???

Not only that but he still more or less tries his best to process the fact that Ramuda was somewhat responsible for half of his losses and he still tries to forgive Ramuda?? He tries, at least puts effort, to “forget about it because I’d do same to protect my sister” thing with Ichiro???? And he acknowledges that even after the hypnosis effect is gone, Nemu wants to stay in Chuuoku even at the cost of her fighting against Samatoki for that and HE FUCKING ACCEPTS HER DECISION AND RESPECTS HER AND CHERISHES HER???????

Has Sasara's eye color been confirmed? I can't find a clear enough photo to get the colors. When I try to get the colors it keeps showing up as either gold & yellow or lime green & pink. I'm super confused 😭😭

none of the characters have their eye colour like, written in stone so it’s up to the viewer in a way lmao. most characters have obvious eye colours so it doesn’t matter but then you do have someone like sasara lol

i have a few answers i can give tho lol!!!!! to start, all the characters have a secondary eye colour on top of their iris (except for the yamadas bc their secondary eye colour is their heterochromia lmao) so whatever sasara’s base eye colour is, he does have some light pink in there!!!! as for said base, i have three images that i could think of with an okay look at his eye colour lol

the middle shot, from the glory or dust mv, would be most canon but i think that’s the most ambiguous colour i got from the eye dropper tool lol. but hit it in this ball park and i think you’d be fine!!!!

i wouldn’t say it’s a secret but here’s a fun fact!!!!! for the mixed up teams and the block party, the bb may have been paired up with someone who shares their individual eye colour!!!! with the bp, jiro got paired with kuukou, saburo with ramuda, and ichiro and samatoki are the two leaders with solos, so all three bb got paired with a leader that shares their eye colour

After all, it’s just peeling an orange. With the rind removed, he carefully returned your orange to you. There are parts where juice came leaking through the thin mesh skin due to his roughness, but you could tell he put in his effort to peel it. All because you asked him to.
