Summary: It's six months after they defeat Vecna and close the Upside Down for the final time, and along with it comes the spring of 1988. Okay, so when they're older (let's say Holly's 16, Mike's 22, Nancy's 26) Nancy insists that they need to do something for sibling bonding so they can all get closer. She decides a road trip is a good idea. To the grand canyon! (Wonder where she got that idea 🤔) The road trip is, objectively, a disaster. They get a flat tire, Mike and Nancy constantly argue about who gets to drive, Holly backseat drives. Mike and Nancy get in multiple arguments. Mike does not enjoy the grand canyon. He's had enough near death experiences for a lifetime, thank you very much. And tripping over his perpetually untied laces on a hiking trail and falling to his untimely demise isn't the way he wants to go. Nancy insists he's being dramatic. Holly insists they should pay to ride the mules because that's probably easier than walking, except Mike is also scared of mules. But somehow... they do bond. Like really bond. They share laughs and talk to each other like they never have before. Nancy talks about Jonathan, Mike talks about Will, Holly laments about there not being an age appropriate Byers sibling for her, because apparently they're like assigned or something and she totally got jipped. They never go on a road trip again, no fucking way. But they feel... like a family now. From that point on, they talk more. They confide in each other. They seek comfort in each other. They still fight a lot. Like siblings.

The Curse of Fairhaven

In days past, a commune of mages known as the Sulari dwelt in the low-lying hills south of the Hanaira Canyon. Great in power and wisdom, they used their gifts to bless the land of Fairhaven. When their seers warned of poor harvests, the people rationed their resources, while gathering grain to feed their livestock, and nurturing the rivers to ward off starvation. Alchemists crafted elixirs of health and strength, and the commune established a healthy trade with the outside world. Conjurers and architects combined their skills to advance technology. People flocked from far and wide, even from distant lands across the sea, to reap the benefits of the Sulari’s gifts, and their commune became a great city.

A century later, the land of Fairhaven has fallen victim to a terrible Curse. Across the realm, crops fail and livestock seem to drop dead spontaneously. Food has become scarce, and communities suffer. However, in a little market town called Kalamit, a band of fighters and unlikely friends comes together to right the wrongs which the land has suffered, and set out on a great journey to lift the Curse and restore the land to peace once again.

Snow showered on the city, a celebration of a winter that would linger on the seventh day of December until March's bare dryness settled. Scarfed and booted, with her topcoat collar turned up, Bluu Rivers walked the festive streets of the city, ostensibly in search of inspiration and holiday cheer. But her imagination was not stimulated, and her need for an early Christmas celebration did not abate.

The beginning-of-season snow weather lacked color and magic. Snow spiraled through windless canyons, as soft and white as a dove's, until it fell below the hooded streetlamps and was bleached by the light. If inspiration and cheer were not, in fact, her goal, she was in need of warmth. Bluu found none of that, either. The traffic in the streets might have been self-driven and without passengers—machines on errands of their own intention. Footprints of diverse passer byers patterned the inch of snow on the sidewalks. The bitter chill did not dissuade other pedestrians from being out and about, but to Bluu, they were as immaterial as ghosts.

No, she needed comfort. She needed warmth.

She needed--

“Maybe we could get some hot chocolate from that cafe, over there?”

Bluu jumped like a startled deer, her eyes popping open as the pleasant haze of her imagination and inner musings shattered. Trust Sizhui to call her back to reality. “Hot chocolate,” she muttered and then smiled, slipping her gloved hand into his.“All right, but I get to share my cookies with you."

The best way to kill him is to run up to the section where Kate gets her perfume, run back and use it to knock out both guards next to Danny so that you can have an easy time throwing him down to the cliffside. In Mission 4, Higgin’s Estate, he’s the photographer at the start of the mission, make sure you kill him at the start of the mission since he disappears once you start Cooper’s section.
