I feel like what it would take for Bonnie to yell at someone is if they were yelling at him. But even so.. I just don't know if that's how Bonnie is..

Like if say, Monty was really barking at Bonnie for how he's behaving and just shoving everything in his face. I'd like to think that Bonnie would eventually blow and yell back something like "I DON'T CARE" or "YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IM GOING THROUGH".. Buuuutt at the same time.. Bonnie is mellow and kind by nature.

Seeing Monty yelling.. he might just shut down even more. He's so tired. He's tired of everything. And now Monty's yelling about something and its all just.. so exhausting. It might be easier for Bonnie to just stand there and not say anything and wait for Monty to get it all out of his system and then leave. Fighting back is just gonna make Monty yell more and cause more drama. Bonnie would give up in an argument pretty quickly and just stand there until the other person is done yelling.

And what's Monty gonna do? Push Bonnie around? Bonnie is way heavier and stronger than him. Pushing him/encouraging Bonnie to get physical is just gonna result in Monty flailing about and Bonnie standing stiff as brick.

I've never seen that movie(..?) before so I cant really say.. But judging by Google images, it looks really cool! And it has a lot of cats in it XD

Although they didn't have any rides like that fortunately, and STAFF bots didn't exist when Foxy was still in service. If a kid had an accident of some kind, whether it be an injury or a uh. "Spill".. It was probably Foxy's job to alert an employee and they'd come in and clean up the mess and/or whisk the injured child away so Foxy could go back to work.

Seam could have known how to do that perhaps..? But his powers were never meant to hurt people. Seam was the court Magician. He would just use his powers to put on these beautiful displays and show off these bizarre tricks and shows. (Usually along side Jevil to add extra flare and humor to his performances)

Although... technically you could say that he did use his magic to harm once. I don't know if it counts as a hex.? But he did lock Jevil away in a magical cell made of his own magic... does that count? :0

Yeah that was the intention. Seam, that Older imp and the two cat ladies worked under the King directly. So they wore these beautiful robes and headdress things to show their status. Jevil was the court jester so he just wore a jester outfit.

If Jevil had any other role he'd probably be dressed all fancy just like them. :0

Yeah <:( for a lot of reasons.

For many years talking has hurt Seams mouth and face, obviously- So he's resorted to mumbling and talking very quietly. After years and years of doing that his voice cant be great. When the stiches were removed I can imagine him raising his voice and it just sends him into a horrible coughing fit. Plus those holes in his mouth are still there, and they cant feel great to be stretched around..

I can see him struggling to make certain sounds. Like the word "cheese". He'd probably cut off half way cuz the holes were stretched and it felt like a punch to the lip. :'(

That's a good question... I think at least for now, Seam just wants to cover it up.

Underneath that wrap.. his face is pretty messed up. Its not just his eye.. I imagine that the eye hole also didn't heal great so I don't know if they could even put in an artificial eye. It might hurt Seam or make his face really sore.. Plus after the eye was in, he'd just want to cover it up with a bandage anyways..

So for now, he just covers his face and doesn't touch the wound. And I don't think he'll have the courage to mess with it anytime soon... :((

I have not :/ But I have seen ads for it EVERYWHERE. So I am aware of its existence. XDD

Aww.... nah that would destroy anybody.

I mean if they absolutely had to for some reason, like they could never return to the surface because if they did they would die.. They would survive underwater for a while. But then eventually they'd run out of supplies and they'd starve or the octopod would stop functioning after a while..

Also MAN they would all be ruined mentally. Never being able to see their families again. Never being able to feel the sun on your skin or breathe in fresh air. Being stuck underwater for the rest of their lives would destroy all of the Octonauts. Save for possibly Inkling, but even then being trapped down there and all your friends are miserable would wear on Inkling too..

Maybe not the whole playground. But I can easily see Christmas/holiday themed decorations being hung up around the Daycare :)

Hmm.. I hadn't planned/thought about something like that... But that's a really cool idea! Perhaps at one point they were pursued through dimensions :0 Terrifying!

Devlog #120

Hi-ho, Wudge here. Early devlog...!

This week I drew a blush just for Warden and nobody else. There are two very specific ways to see it, and only in this office location. So... good luck!

I playtested the game enough to get allllllll 26 achievements. I actually... had to reference my own walkthrough to get one of them. ;;; But I was able to do it!!

I also had a small.. incident where Griffin promised he'd talk to everyone to help fix their negative opinions of me (aka, reset the approval points to a more neutral zone after I thoroughly antagonized everybody).... and then he didn't. It's fixed now ;;;;;; But woo that would have been an awful lil mistake hahaha.

I finished the 'updating ur mc pfp' tutorial - seems to be intuitive and working seamlessly enough!

I converted converted alllll the pngs into webps, and converted alllllllllll the mp3s and wavs into oggs...

...and deleted all unnecessary files and notes from the development process. This is usually the stage where I'll end up breaking something from accidentally nuking an important file... but so far so good.

I put in a cute, special lil sfx for the reward you get after the credits.

Finish designing and coding my SECRET NG+ screen, and wrote a personalized dev note to put in it.

And - we've finally updated Mr Whidden! Wahoo!!!! Remnantation did an amazing job as always!

I thought about putting in some animated smoke coming out of his cannon arm but I had to tell myself No... No Wudge....stop.. ......I did add a lil ember and smoke at the very edge of the gun but THATS IT I restrained myself there and did not animate!!!

So, what else is left?

Finish and import a few final pieces of in-game art (1 bird sprite, 1 background, some food art).

Review some sound effects in a final, final dev playtest.

Finish updating my itch page (adding the final few lil graphics, putting up the new Content Warning, linking to the new video, then finally, uploading the game files and walkthrough).

Decide how I'm gonna update my pinned post. I should save a link to the old one bc most of its information should be quite relevant, but I'll want a temporary, shorter pinned post for new players who aren't familiar with this blog and are looking to troubleshoot or say hi or something.. Should still have fun attention-grabbing gifs and stuff from the itch page though. <_<

.... So yeah, mostly like - social media promo stuff. That should be it. Fingies crossed. Whew.

By the way?

Super Demo comes out December 2nd. Mark your calendars <3

- Okay so Spock isn’t wrong to say, “Let’s go get help.” I love how the bridge crew is on his side, like the commodore orders to go chase after it and sulu only listens to Spock. We love to see Spock winning when trying to ensure the safety of his crew

- “You tried to destroy it once before, Commodore. The result was a wrecked ship and a dead crew.” Then the commodore tries to have a staring contest with him. LIKE GET HIS ASS SPOCK

- The Commodore is willing to put the ENTIRE enterprise in danger, who the fuck does this guy think he is

- McCoy is not happy! (That’s the @?&%!@$% “sir” ever though)

- McCoy is on a rampage for Spock (and the crew) “I’ll certify that right now.”

- “Now you know I haven’t had time to run an examination on him.” “Then your statement would not be considered valid.” I think this is one of the times Bones should be allowed to say “fuck”

- Spock is giving McCoy a look while explaining they can’t do anything that is sooo heartbreaking

- Spock knows he needs to be able to stay on the bridge so that if things do go to far he can try and keep his crew safe

- Why’s he sitting like that

- Kirk’s gonna kill the commodore when he finds out

- “Give me Spock!”

- “Vulcan’s never bluff.” Okay but then show me how McCoy teaching Spock poker went over…

- I wish Spock got to nerve pinch the commodore

- Poor redshirt.. got beat up :(

- So… Kirk won’t kill the commodore. Spock offers his condolences

- Spock surprised that his idiot boyfriend is an idiot

- Spock trying to control his eyebrows as he explains to Kirk that his survival chances are low

- OMG KYLE

- Spock panicking like “Mr Scott. Mr Scott!” get Kirk back for him!

- Eye of Sauron looking ass mf (I guess other way around but I watched lotr first lol)

I've had this account for awhile but haven't done anything with it so I'm just gonna start. Anyways, some friends and I have been recreating Inkopolis in Minecraft. This is what's been done so far.

Inkopolis Plaza. This is the center of the city and also the part that I personally put the most time into. There's a nether portal in the train station for travel, oh yeah this is survival. The Calamari Inkantation easter egg is also there, activated by a skulk sensor. The doors to the lobby are also functional.

Inkopolis Square. We really tried to line up the plaza and square so that you can see the tower, but there just isn't a good spot on a 90 degree angle that wouldn't be blocked by the train line. You can JUST about see the tower, though. Despite being part of some Server Shenanigans, the square has been kinda neglected in terms of detail. I also had very little to do with the design process, just building it. Although, I am personally working on it to bring it closer to how it is in Splatoon 3.

Urchin Underpass. This is one of my favorite builds in the city. We really tried to recreate the are around Urchin as best we could. I also got to put an entire 3 minute rendition of Splattack! on noteblocks underneath.

Blackbelly Skatepark. It is not quite finished, there's some more detail I'd like to add, as well as filling in some scenery. It will not be particularly accurate due to space restrictions, but we're alright with that.

Flounder Heights. This is the Splatoon 1 version (The Splatoon 3 version released like a week after the map itself was complete). While none of us are very good at interiors, I plan to make it a functional complex, at some point. Also the "ghost" is represented by an armor stand with a skeleton skull.

Arowana Mall. The pallet for this thing was a big debate, there's not really a block that properly represents the walls or the roofing, but I think is came out decently. It also functions as our actual shopping area, since we have an economy.

Walleye Warehouse. This one was pretty fun to build. It serves as an actual warehouse for blocks. There are minecarts that move around to mimic the conveyor belts.

Hammerhead Bridge. While the stage itself is the Splatoon 1 version, it is covered like in Splatoon 3 (I have a moral opposition to the remake). This took so long.

The Reef. I had no part in this one, outside of some minor touch ups. It looks nice, and is pretty accurate. I am, however, working on making the overhead train rail.

Shellendorf Institute. This took forever and two beacons. I love how it turned out, but I’ll probably never have enough copper to build anything substantial again… We also turned it into a server museum, holding several artifacts and rare items including a blue axolotl and a tall fern item.

Manta Maria. I designed the hull of the ship for this one, not the stage itself, though. It's a little smaller than it should be, but is close enough to still be recognizable.

Wahoo World. Another one I didn't do much with. The roller coaster works (sadly doesn't go inverted) and several other rides and attractions are scattered around. If there is a good way to make something spin or extend diagonally I would love to know, it feels very soulless without the movement.

Bluefin Depot. It's the Splatoon 3 version. This is probably my favorite build in the city. It's also the only one where I designed the stage completely by myself. I did get help with the surrounding. It's probably the most accurate stage overall, since it's far enough away that space wasn't a concern.

Spawning Grounds. I mostly did redstone for this one (plus the heli) since it is a fully* functional recreation of Salmon Run, using zombie pigman and gold nuggets.

New stuff/ stuff that wasn't in my reddit post:

A better look at the alleys in both hub areas (Yes that is a spike instead of Spyke)

The Plane. This is based on the plane that flies over in Splatoon 1 (I used the Boundary Break video for better reference)

Moray Towers. This is unfinished, the surrounding buildings, highway, and some terraforming needs to be done.

I think we're back to being consistent for a bit. Welcome to Part 1 of Episode 2 of Waku Puyo Translations.

(I'll run out of cool pages eventually. Also, Schezo always seems to be connotated with flowers from my knowledge. Wonder why.)

Hello everyone, it's the funny man who does translations, and after so long...my computer is finally working as intended. Extras can take a break, for the main series is FINALLY back to business...even if this is a two, possibly three parter. This is a tiny bit late because I slept early on the weekends, but we're still alive.

I swear it won't always be like this

I'll start with the big announcement:

I have a teammate now.

Good pal of mines @kirstenonic05 will be doing things related to shop menus and the sort. So for the time being, I'll be skipping shop menus and leaving it to her. She's currently making I believe a Google spreadsheet of a TON of the items you can find in the game, including many I've missed, so...when it releases, check it out. Might help someone's run. I'll still be translating key items though, don't worry.

The plan is to finish this episode fully, drop an Extras episode, and call it a year. If something else happens...wahoo.

You really don't know what they're called or what they do.

I can tell if it's an item or food, but not what it does.

Fufufu:

Fufufu, in that case, you identify.

You lose MP though. But you know what the item is at least.

But if it's rare, you use more MP, so be careful.

Arle:

Alright, I see...

MP is important, but using an unknown item...isn't exactly safe.

Fufufu: (from here on I legit forget if he says fufufu or nah, so...I won't be adding it.)

In that case, you identify it.

If you identify, you do lose MP, but if you don't, you can't use the item.

Arle:

Hmm... is there a better way?

Fufufu:

Actually, if you do Identification, you gain some experience.

The more you identify, the more EXP you'll get, and it increases your identification level.

So with a higher level, you're more likely to find rarer items.

Arle:

Huh...

Fufufu:

If your Identification level is too low, it'll be hard to identify.

So failing to identify costs more MP, and by then, you'll be out of it.

Arle:

Hmm...By the way, how do you know your Identification level?

Fufufu:

You can check it in "Special Abilties", at the Status menu.

Arle:

SPLATOON MAINS. wait what

yeah this is just cuz ive been getting my ass beat in turf war lately. "but didn't you say most of them kinda don't give a shit about video games" hush. listen to my splat facts boy

lupin: using a finnicky, mostly just for aesthetics gun -> using a finnicky, mostly just for aesthetics splatoon weapon. he tried so hard to master the tri-stringer. AND ONLY PARTIALLY FOR THE JOKE OF IT!! ended up with the dualie squelchers. dual wield baby. and he likes the color. he gets to be a LITTLE superficial here

jigen: made fun of people for using snipers in a baby game and then got that violent, evil rush of adrenaline sitting on top of the center of wahoo world and changed his tune a little. offended by the implication he’d need a zoom scope in, again, a baby game. now the goo tuber may look doofy as hell but its jigen so. watch out. he’s like built for this. uses the missiles with a downright evil vengence

fujiko: fast fire rate means big coverage and easy kills. aerospray rg. gotta have it in gold of course! besides, she works better getting much closer to the target in question, so the lack of range hardly hinders her like at all. this was like the easiest ever out of all of these i knew this one first!! she knows the stereotypes of aerospray users sucking! she does not give a shit! you can cry about her taking the ‘easy way out’ all you want she’s still getting that #1 overall splatter medal every damn time !

goemon: it’s too easy to say splatana. it’s too easy. no i'm. its too easy sorry no. in fact i don’t even want to imagine the shouting at the tv that would transpire when he sees that those things literally just go up and down. he loves his diagonal swipes. so let’s go with rollers. goemon (ironically, since he has the highest body count i'm sure) focuses more on paint coverage than actual splatting so. yeah. let’s say big swig just cuz its funny to imagine him running around with that big ass thing

zenigata: just kind of bashes buttons without a full strategy, so brush. any of them. this was also very very easy to determine! the important part is the aggressive swiping over and over and over again. long past the point of death. let’s just say the standard inkbrush, he got used to it quickly and the giant speakers of death fucking rock. you KNOW he loves that shit!!!

BONUS YATA!!!: slowly learning when to fold ‘em. brella. actually the sorella brella yknow with the tent that launches out? oh he LOVES that its having a whole wave push people down. and as we know just seeing the shit he puts up with he MUST have the patience of a saint, so he’s fine with the cooldown

i am a puzzle game girl at heart. i love free dopamine, i love getting told im doing a good job, i love getting trophies. i am also just. bad at making my own goals in games. i want to be told what to do and do it so so well that i get 2000 gold exp points or whatever. that’s why i’ve never really been able to pick up life sim games like harvest moon or animal crossing.

i love platformers but i think everyone loves platformers, even if they say they don’t, they just have too narrow a definition of platformers. that’s quintessential video game right there, that’s making mario do a little jump and a wahoo. can’t go wrong with it. i will tough it out for the stupidest hardest shit just for the chance to get all the stars or a good time on a level, and it will be worth it. to me.

i am Not a shooter person, first or third. mass effect is my favorite game series of all time in spite of the fact that i am very, very bad at it. i just never picked up the sort of coordination you need to be good at shooters. the sensitivity is always too low or too high, everything moves too fast, and i need more time than i am ever afforded to actually line up shots right. video games that let me turn on aim assist my beloveds <3 BUT. that being said im not going to turn away a game because of it, especially if the game is. Weird.

actually yeah that’s my favorite genre of game. Weird. a genre that i can define to include Control and SuperHot and Slay the Princess and Yume Nikki and Jazzpunk and. you get the picture. weird is either weird in the profound way or weird in the ‘who made this and why’ way. or both. but my favorite games are always Weird.

but id be remiss to say all of this and not mention once that i do adore terrible shovelware games. older ones, though some amazing (read: awful) ones can still be made nowadays, but it’s a little harder to love a shovelware game with microtransactions than one that’s just sort of. bad. and honest about how bad it is. made for a quick buck on the cheap, wearing some sort of licensed mascot’s skin, if you’re lucky it has bad motion controls. you know the deal. im fascinated by them. i wish i had a library of all the wii shovelware that exists so i could display them. not proudly but. display them for sure. force my friends to play wreck it ralph the wii game.
